At this time I am trying to contact yelp because I chose this company due to the yelp guarantee. They acknowledged damage they created by accident but have not been returning multiple calls and emails for weeks. That is never going to be acceptable. I had long conversations with them before to vet them and they explained they were a company that's a subsidiary of a larger reputable company and that the LA location was new. I had them email me their COI and if I can't get yelp to answer my plea, I will have to call their insurance. Maybe this review will make a difference for me, but it should for sure make a difference for their next potential clients. They were nice and all, and def knew how to email and call back prior to the move but have taken zero responsibility in responding afterwards. read more

After we got screwed by another moving company, it was such a relief to work with honest people who worked so hard start to finish with no breaks. This is one instance where a company's reviews does not reflect the service they will provide. I was moving from a 2 bedroom condo and Abel told me it will require 3 guys or 4 guys if I wanted it done quickly. It ended up taking 4 of their guys 13 hours to move me from dtla to Arcadia. It would have been faster, but one of their guy would only stay on the truck for most of the time. And one other skinny guy was always MIA. Despite this, I probably would've still given these guys a 4 or 5 star review. What is totally unacceptable is the negligent manner is which they handled the furniture. Instead of using blankets or some other protective material, they would use regular clear box tape to wrap smooth surfaces. When I went to remove the tape it would leave sticky residue on all the furniture. I had to use nail polish remover to get the residue off. I've also included images of furniture damaged during the move. They denied damaging the furniture, but my ring cameras have it on video. Good luck if you need to file a claim because the COI they provide is altered with the current date. The insurance carrier told me their policy expired in 2022. Don't trust this company. I'm sure you will be able to find honest movers out there. I would be a lot angrier, but luckily the Yelp Guarantee helped recoup some of the damages. They will lie and say they didn't damage your furniture. You will need video proof if you file a claim. read more

Needed a large and heavy stand up desk moved from our storage unit to the second floor of our house, and my husband and I were not up for the task! I started searching in yelp for some local movers, and after calling a couple of companies, I decided to go with ASAP moving due to their pricing, responsiveness, and availability. The morning of the move, ASAP showed up on time and quickly got to work with getting that heaving desk out of storage. To load the truck at a storage facility with carts and a utility elevator and convenient parking should have taken 1-1.5 hours. 90% of the stuff was packed already. The movers I last used put it in the storage from their truck in less than an hour. The travel time is, by law, double time for over 10 miles. A 50 minute drive is therefore 100 minutes. They charged for two hours (120 minutes). The unload time and move into my new house was not as convenient as the storage unit but still fairly simple being street level. No unpacking was asked for. 1.5 hours to unload should have been enough. We even helped move stuff to try to speed it up. But they insisted on moving slowly, inefficiently, and taking lots of breaks. At 55 I am faster and stronger at moving boxes and items than their kids were. They promised two movers but sent 3. However only 2 actually worked so I guess I got two movers after all. But I understand the main guy said he hurt his back the day before and so assume they did a last minute subcontract with someone with no real professional experience. The guy I assume was second in command was attentive but not in control of the situation and not the most effective or efficient mover. The one with the hurt back basically stayed out of it most of the time. So no one was actually coordinating an effective plan. No one took charge. Altogether, the move should not have exceeded 4-5 hours including the double time drive time. They charged 6. The rate promised was not honored either as they claimed at the end it was a cash only rate. The listing here says credit cards are an accepted form of payment but they really wanted me to use Venmo. Since I am not about to drop almost a grand in cash, especially without a contract or other protections and after a bad experience, I had to use credit. Yeah that was the other thing. They showed up without any contact or insurance and at no time was there any kind of checklist or opportunity to assure nothing would be broken and no opportunity to sign off or claim anything at the end. Unprofessional and irregular. The movers I used in February were leagues better and totally pro. I should have used them again but didn't because I was sensitive to where they would have to come from for the job. Finally, I had to leave them alone for 20 minutes and specifically said not to touch some fragile and priceless stuff I was going to move myself. When I got back it was all disturbed and messed up. One of the boxes was even opened. Not cool. Movers should respect privacy and client discretion above all. Would not recommend at all. Edit: I knew it when I saw the boxes labeled FRAGILE propped on their side inside the truck that trouble would await me. Lo and behold, I later found stuff broken. (See photo). So many 5 star reviews and I expected an amazing experience. However it was pretty lackluster with the movers caring less and less about preserving the quality of my furniture as the move went on. I have a ton of dings and scratches on my equipment and at times, they were focused on what was fastest vs. what was safety. Wont be getting support from these guys again. Also English was tough for most of the workers. Only one new how to speak english and somewhat understood. I don't recommend. I ordered 3 movers instead of 2 because I wanted it to go faster. It didn't. 2 were working well and they had an older man with them that was in flip flops and he was moving at a snails pace. Why bring an old man to help you move who is taking cigarette breaks? What a fantastic bunch of guys. The team arrived promptly at 8/40 am, and accommodated a monster 4 bedroom 13 hour move from Anaheim Hills to Yorba Linda with patience, caring, and consideration. They were so great that they set up my Moms room first so she could rest up. I had a great experience with a team of 3 movers from ASAP moving services. They were friendly and professional and carefully and quickly wrapped my furniture and several large TVs as well as several boxes. They loaded it all into their large truck and moved it all 20 miles away and unloaded it at my new house. One sofa was particularly difficult to fit up through the staircase and into the back bedroom but they managed to do it somehow without damaging the walls or anything.... I expected there to be some sort of damage or mark somewhere because it was very tight and required a lot of thought to even make it work but they were amazing! It took longer than expected but ai think that's the case with most every move. I underestimated how much ai had so that's totally on me. My move was made easy with the help of ASAP Moving Services. They were the first company that reached back to me when I requested a quote via Yelp around 12:50 AM. Abel made it a smooth process. Regarding the actual moving day, two movers arrived on time and started loading the truck. Due to my personal circumstances (home not being entirely packed when movers showed up) the loading took longer than I would have liked. The movers were professional at all times. In one instance, I told Mike (one of the movers) that everything in the bedroom closet was going into storage. I realized later that there were two items that actually had to stay behind in the apartment. I let Mike know and he went to the truck to retrieve them without hesitation. Fast forward to the final bill, I noticed I was charged for 4.5 hours vs the 4 hrs 21 minutes worked. I asked for a refund (9 minutes overcharge) and was refunded right away. Abel explained that their system automatically bills in 15-minute increments. One final note, I compared this move to a move I had in 2022 with a different company. The cost for this move was less than the 2022 move even though this move included 1 stop and the destination vs the 2022 move only had the destination. This move was from a 2nd floor (stairs) apartment to a ground floor apartment and then to a storage unit on the 3rd floor (elevator). My 2022 move was from a 3rd floor (stairs) apartment to a ground floor apartment. All that to say, this move was more affordable considering the time it took. DO NOT use this moving company! I will start by saying I used them for a previous move and the only reason I used them again was because I loved Chico and Enrique and they made my last move so seamless. I had the complete opposite experience this time. I will start by saying when I asked for a quote a few months ago, I asked if Chico and Enrique were still there so I could book my move. Whoever responded on Yelp said they would check and get back to me. Never got back to me about them, but they did continue to message me and ask me to just book the move and they would put a note in the file. I continued to search for movers but ended up needed to move last minute so I just booked them because I used them before. What upsets me is that if my boyfriend wasn't available to be in our new home with the movers - I would have been out of luck as I worked that night. First of all, I booked for a one bedroom apartment move scheduled arrival from 8am - 10am with a 9am request time. They agreed. The movers call me around 930am the day of my move and say they are going to be an hour late. Two hours later they finally arrive. They entered my apartment with no shoe covers. They were rude, making comments and huffing and puffing about how much stuff I had. (When I brought this up to customer service they said the movers probably made plans and were upset and next time i should let them know how much stuff I had.) Which I did- when I filled out the quote online. One of the movers said I had a 3 bedroom apartment. Where are the other 2 rooms???? Last I checked I only had one bedroom. One mover asked me to use the restroom and he peed all over my toilet and didn't wash his hands but continued to box and touch my personal items. I asked the movers if they would wear shoe covers in my new apartment and they shrugged and said nothing they can do about it now. One of them smelled so heavily of cigarette smoke. The same amount of stuff I had in my previous move took 4 hours and this one took 8. I kept trying to call and contact a manager in the middle of the move and they said that a manager was conveniently not in the office. No shoe covers were worn in my brand new apartment with light beige carpeting. The response I got from the owner was that it was my fault for not asking for shoe covers in the notes. My last move I did not have to ask. They should have the common respect and courtesy as a moving company to supply shoe covers when moving into peoples brand new homes. Overall a horrible experience. I move a lot and have recommended this place to a few people for their upcoming moves but I will be sure to let them know NOT to book and I will be reporting to BBB as well! read more
