I noticed many of my stored items were stolen when I was cleaning out my unit and ending my rental. I was told they were under new ownership and it may have happened under the prior ownership. I don't know when the items were stolen so my unit may have been robbed before the current owner took over. What I didn't care for was the current owners response when I reported the items were stolen. He became defensive and told me to file a police report and make a claim to my insurance. I didn't have insurance and some of the items had sentimental value to me and not monetary. Do your homework before renting from them. read more

These guys are great! After being burglarized at Public Storage and then mistreated by its apathetic staff, the customer service at AAA Storage is a breath of fresh air. They quickly got me set up with a nice new unit and their prices are terrific. They helped me pick a lock that is safer and they check on their property with regularity. Customer for the last 17 years off and on. I have used 2 other storage and found this one to be the best. Living in high fire area, I chose to secure a facility to store valuables during high fire danger times as I have had to evacuate "suddenly" several times. The staff hAs always been helpful and friendly, the units are clean with ample parking close to unit. The lighting is great after hours and I always set an alarm so that I can leave on time with no hassles. Many thanks to Jesse and his staff for keeping this site in such great shape. read more

I have been harassed by the manager since.the first day. Came in after work dirtier than the homeless that surround this facility and moved my stuff in. Must have led him to believe that was who he was dealing with because he treats me as such. Asked for assistance and the man threw a grown up temper tantrum even texted the next day with some fabricated nonsense to justify his temper tantrum. Not recommending the place but be wary if you do chose to place your life's valuables here. read more

Terrible customer service. The guy literally encouraged me to go to another storage unit ---said I needed two forms of ID but one had to be a credit card. A credit card is not a form of an ID. So no clue what shady practices they are pulling on people. So I am going with another business. Pretty pathetic business values if you ask me but I guess I'm winning with going with another company and avoiding this crapshoot. read more

This was the smoothest, friendliest and most hassle free experience I've ever had with a storage company. Jamie the manager is super personable and is very dedicated to making it a pleasant experience. He was very forthcoming about all of their terms in regards to when the payment needs to be made and how you can avoid getting charged an additional month if you get out within the first 5 days of the following month (prorated). I really do credit Jamie for being on top of everything and being so helpful and pleasant. Thanks for the great experience during a rough time. Agree on the attitude of the front desk staff BUT overall PRO'S: Nice facility, Decent and competitive prices. Will Pro-Rate if you leave sooner than the month. I also like that the front desk has all the cameras for their lot and hallways etc., AND 24-hr security/patrol. They also have the exterminator come twice a month. HEADS UP: CONS: You can only book a storage unit during their office hours till 5:30 BUT better get there BEFORE 4:30 (from our experience this week) AND if you are counting on using 1 of their Dollies, Its ONLY avail. during OFFICE HOURS. They also don't offer a truck for moving like many other storage units. They suggested an interior unit because it gets windy and so exterior units are more prone to being dusty. Also, their monthly specials depend on certain units. Ours was $28 for the 1st month AND $130 thereafter for a 10 x 10 (Interior Unit) close to the driveway. You will also need your own lock and they suggest the disk shaped ones. Accept credit/debit cards. Will need a driver's license to book. Have a Safe MOVE :) read more

Shelly at the front desk was very helpful when it can to figuring out the right size unit for me. The managers live on the property which is what really makes me feel like my stuff is safe. It's clean, safe, well managed by Jesse, price is reasonable, fees do not increase dramatically (which is what happened after first year at previous storage) ...oh, and there is a public restroom! and the gate access hours are perfect, a much longer window of time than other places. read more

I have been a storage renter for at least 15 years and during Shelly's management the place was well run. Now the front desk is run by a real poor supervisor named Jesse. He won't shut up and listen and then accuses you of not listening. Don't agree at all, but any way I was the customer and as far as I am concerned 'the customer is always right'. So after spending approximately close to $30,000 there I am OUT. Also their prices are high (like Jesse). I have moved my belongs from their units for 2 reasons; Jesse and I have a 10 x 20 for $170. I have been using AAA Self-Storage for almost a year now and until they charged my credit card without authorization I didn't have an opinion about this place except that the price is cheap and the location was good for me. When I went in to ask why they would charge a credit card without permission, Marilyn, the elderly lady at the desk, blatantly lied to me and said I approved it, which I most certainly did not since I was switching banks at that time. Within minutes they had called in the glorified janitor to threaten and intimidate me (it didn't work). He proceeded to insult me and threaten me at length at which point I left to get a truck to empty my unit. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND GOING TO A BUSINESS THAT HAS A GOOD REPUTATION INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SAVE A FEW BUCKS. read more

I have been a customer for 7 years. I recently had fraud on my debit card and had to change the card number. I forgot my unit was linked to it and was a few days late to pay them. They charged a late fee, understandable but without a phone call or letter, they placed a "pre-lien" on my unit over $60 that was not even 30 days overdue. I went in and was told they would not waive anything and to go pound sand. I guess "Best Value in the Valley" (which goes up every 6 months) means highest price and worst service. I will be leaving them this weekend and would not recommend anyone use this company. read more

I gave AAA storage a bad review and they terminated me, yes threw me out. Instead of trying to rectify the situation or speak to me in person they sent me a certified letter telling me to be out by the 1st of Jan. If a business does something to upset a client,especially one who pays 3 months in advance, don't you think they would want to find out what the problem is before terminating the client ? especially since thier web site says that the unit I was renting is 75.00 per month and it doesn't say that that's a promotion. I "was"paying 75 a month for a space that is worth about that much. That space is now going to be 90 a month but only for me. the next person who rents it will pay 75 until they start raising the rent. They don't give you a rate chart, they won't send you a bill, and if you complain they send you a certified letter terminiating you. There are plenty of places around that have better prices and nicer owners. Oh,...and some of them actually return phone calls. Before you do business with them ask A LOT OF QUEsTIONS. I had my storage at this facility for over 7 years. Infellmon their property Dec. 2011, whereupon the married managers (Marilyn and ?) proceeded to tell me all I needed was a band aid. I neede 19 stitches in my face. Slip and fall. I left the country and returned to find my storage was delinquent. I paid $481.00 with my credit card. Two months later they sold my storage. Marilyn told me they tried to charge my credit card. Lie. Went to the bank, never have been denied by any merchant. The sad truth, I lost my son in a international custody dispute. I stored all of his baby things for 7 years. I was never contacted at my forwarding address. Marilyn said the post could not find me. Lie. Even the IRS found me to issue me a return. My monthly bills arrive just fine. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT store anything with this company. Doing fraudelent activity, will only result in Karma at the highest level. I lost everything and my son. It is as if my life never happened for $547. Really? Evil... read more

Don't even attempt to take any your belongings here as they are super shady. When I originally signed up, I questioned purchasing insurance. I was told that very few people purchase insurance. Ironically, after about two weeks, I went to my unit only to find the lock cut. The next day an employee advised me that the lock had been cut for the wrong person. When I went back the following day, Shelly the manger advised that some 'teenagers' must have broken in and that they were having an issue with theft. Oh, and that there are no cameras in the hallways. I hate to say this but, I feel like this was an inside job. I had a 70 pound safe and there is absolutely no way that teenagers could have lifted it over the fence. I should have marked by belongs so a police report could have been justified. Again, don't even think about doing business with them. I should have read the other yelp reviews. Lesson learned. Now I am just another victim. read more

I checked around and these guys had the best pricing. Got a 5x5 for $50 a month. All units are ground floor, easy to access, clean. I don't get all the negative reviews, it's a storage not a hotel. All their policies are on the agreement, staff was fine. read more
