We had a small storage locker here for several years and they continue raising the rent each year to the point that it became ridiculous! They want $70 per month for a 3X3x4 locker! I found a slightly larger locker at Public Storage, just around the corner, for $15 per month. Granted that is an introductory rate, but even if they double it after the introductory period, we will be at $30, which is still less than half price! On top of that, they never answer their phones for existing customers. I had to call as a new customer to finally get ahold of them. Bad service bad pricing! I don't recommend them! read more

e, they have my card and bank information on file but refuse to use it! I am not in the area to go over there to pay in cash for the next week and they are informing that they will charge a late fee, although I am more than willing to pay over the phone or online right now. In addition to all of this they locked me out of unit so when I tried to put stuff in it I was not able to. They did that without warning or knowledge. These are not trustworthy people and they will do anything g they can to scam you out of money. There are plenty of other storage places where you would be working with decent management and people who will not try to overcharge you. They have also told me I am no longer allowed to rent a unit online, as the accounts clearly offer with a large button that says "add a new unit" and has the prices listed for each unit. So they charge random fees because they want to and do a bait and switch for units they offer online. Not to mention the raising prices every 6-12 months. read more

This review is long overdue. I never had to rent a storage unit before, and had no idea how to go about it or what was involved. I chose StorQuest because it was close to where I was going to move. From the minute I walked in and spoke to Kyndra I felt at ease. She explained the whole process to me, took me for a tour of the facility and found the perfect unit for my needs. She was more than kind, considerate and understanding of my situation, which was sorely needed at the time. Needless to say, I took it immediately and started moving my things in within a couple of days. The first trip by myself was challenging, but thanks to John who was there to help I was able to navigate my first experience with ease. I liked the location it was convinient for me, but it was A bad experience. They have A second lot across these street that I was unaware of and is not secured.They just started putting up cameras. Also you only have access from 6 AM to 5 Pm because they haven't installed the Manuel entrance key pad. Which they don't tell you about until after the fact.. The second week illegal activity was going on and I had my fiance notify the storage facility. The third week the doors wouldn't open and A whole day was wasted because, they don't call you back like they say they will. When I called back A person at the storage said it would take 2 hours to fix. A week later the door #5 still doesn't work. So do your home people. It's hard enough moving and still have to deal with more B.S. read more

Very friendly staff, that's why I gave them 2 stars not 1. They recently cut access hours in the annex building from 7-7 down to 9-5 so if you have a normal job you'll only get to your stuff on weekends unless they change the access codes without warning (which they've done to me 3 times). The annex building is dirty and gross, too many piles of cat sh*t so watch where you step. They closed the rest room so bring a bottle to pee in, literally no small trash cans anywhere to toss any loose trash so folks just throw it on the ground. The staff seems hard working and smart so not sure why it's such a mess. At least they're friendly. read more

Access hours are the worst in the industry. They change the access hours and pin code of the doors to get in without notifying you. So I do not recommend this place at all. read more

The staff here are very friendly, helpful and professional. The prices are definitely reasonable. The only downfall was that while I was getting a tour of a couple of units both the gentleman giving me the tour and myself tripped over a step while we were going up the stairs. There is like one step off or something? On the day that I moved some of my stuff into the unit I again tripped on the step and ended up bruising my arm and my leg. read more

Worst customer service ever, had to pay a late payment with cash, only had my card, I told him I would be right back so I can run to the bank. Had like 200 lbs. of stuff upstairs and the lazy cashier left right as I was pulling up to pay so I had to stay until he got back from his break. Wouldn't recommend this place to no-one. If I could give this place no stars I would. I rented a parking space here thinking I would be able to leave it there with no bother for the month that I already paid. After I paid, they called me last minute saying I wouldn't be able to park my car due to construction. I only had my car here for 5 days and they didn't give me any notice about moving my car, they didn't even want to partially refund me since I only was able to park 5 days out of the whole month. I am absolutely baffled by the blatant disrespect and attitude my family and I were shown today by one of the staff members working the front desk. Upon discovering my storage unit had been broken into, my father (who loaded the storage unit) and I walked back across the street to report what happened and the utter lack of compassion and some of the remarks made were so unprofessional. The entire contents of my home were placed in this storage unit. Before I even knew exactly what was missing I was understandably already upset given the situation. I showed the guy working a few pictures we took of what we found when we arrived. Luckily we had a comparison of before the break in because my dad had taken pictures of how the unit was loaded so when I went I would know where things were. I've never had a storage unit before and had no idea what the process was when something like this happens. Instead of maybe offering an apology that it happened or showing any concern, he started making almost accusatory statements directed at my father with an extremely smug attitude. When he agreed to go look at the unit across the street things just got even worse. He then started asking us how things would have ended up the way they did like we had something to do with it. He even said "well this doesn't happen here and it's strange because you're a new customer" I was literally floored. Someone's entire home was placed in care at your business and it was just robbed and you're going to accuse them?! The audacity was insane. I finally spoke to the supervisor and he said we could file an insurance claim or police report or both. I called the Canoga Park police department who arrived fairly quickly. As soon as the officer walked in and saw the unit he said "well, will you look at that" due to how obvious it was someone broke in...which was refreshing since the first staff member who walked in basically acted like we were interrupting his lunch and it was our fault in some way or were the ones who did it..It seems like it had to have been someone who either has a unit there or works there to be able to gain access to the building...in my opinion. They do have cameras so I'm curious to see what they will hand over to the police department. I'm praying it's not one of those cases where the footage magically disappears or wasn't working. This probably is all over the place but I had to make other people aware of how bad this was all handled and to warn others to steer clear. I will also be contacting corporate on Monday morning. read more

The customer service is excellent! When I moved a few days ago and wanted to put some stuff in my locker I noticed that it was no more big enough.
