Dora is such a sweet woman! She was so easy to work with and tried to accommodate me as much as She could. There was a problem on the move in date because the movers said that the stuff I wanted to store would not fit and Dora was trying to help me to see if she can do anything to help I.e. Look for a bigger storage but unfortunately everything was taken. She offered to call the other storage units around to see if they had anything to fit whatever that couldn't fit in her storage.... Anyway it all worked out at the end and she was there to calm me at my most stressful moment. Thank you Dora! By the way, I went to 2 other storage units and one was fine but there were problems fitting the moving truck and the other one which was called AAA storage- that place was NOT somewhere I would recommend. The woman there was smoking in front of my son right in front of the office and the whole office stank. She didn't seem like she was too interested in helping me but more interested in finishing her cigarette. I left that place knowing I would NOT come back. I used to manage the facility across the street at 8050 Deering; for 5+ years. That area is infested with rats, possum and skunks. It was a HUGE problem when 8111 Deering was a Public Storage. I highly advise you to seek out proof from management they have invested in an ongoing pest control/vector control eradication problem. Also be aware there are MULTIPLE people living in RV's at night on Deering Court, and the Home Depot a block away has an ARMY of illegal aliens DAILY in their parking lot and along sidewalks adjacent. If you doubt what I say, do a drive-by during the day, and then another at night of the surrounding area. I lived on site across the street for 5 years 2002-2007; I would NEVER leave my vehicle OUTSIDE the compound at night, and I SURELY did not store ANYTHING of value there. Multiple homeless people hang out in area at night. LAPD uses Howard Summers Towing down the street as official tow yard; 24/7 riff raff driving by...TRUST ME. BAD area. Run away. Two years ago, I was in need of a large storage unit, minimum ten feet by twenty feet, I went on-line and found numerous storage facilities. So I decided to start reading their reviews. When I read the reviews at Storage Ect - Canoga Park, Dora's name keep popping up. Eveybody had such positive things to say about her so I called, Dora answered the phone and we scheduled an appointment for me to stop by. Upon arrival, Dora greeted me and said she had a perfect unit, 10" x 20" and she wanted to show it to me. Dora was knowledgeable, friendly and made you feel welcome. So I rented the unit that day and have been there for over two years. I moved out yesterday, and guess what? Dora was there to thank me for my business and say good bye. This place is soooo convenient for me and for my business since Home Depot is right next to this place and have access to my storage at 6:00am. I wish I could get in earlier but it's not that bad. The storage is also convenient because all storage is Drive up but the down side to this is at certain time the place is packed with cars because people on both sides of the driveway are accessing their storage. The that lady help me get the my storage was friendly and helped and with good advise since I have works I never would've thought about getting a combination disc lock so it would be easier. I'd know this because me and my works have lost the keeps and we always end up cut off our lock and buying a new one. I'd advise to come a give this place a look. read more

I needed a large storage space fast, and Storage Etc. in Canoga Park was the obvious choice. I had compared it with another facility nearby and chose Storage Etc. even though it was a little more money each month.  The facility is small, well laid out, and conveniently located. The individual units are super easy to access. The street it's on has only one lane in each direction and isn't busy -aww  very easy to enter and exit. It's near Home Depot and Lowe's - I like that!  I've met my "next-door neighbor" - a very friendly, helpful man. Every time I've been at the facility, Dora is tooling around in her golf cart and she knows me by name and asks how she can help. It actually feels like a community! Exceeds expectation. I have been renting my units at this location for about a year now and the manager Dora along with the employees Cassandra and Roger have always been very helpful and accommodating. The fact that there is an on site manager that lives on the property along with 24 hour surveillance cameras throughout the property make me feel very confident about my property being secure. If that isn't enticing enough there is also a maintenance man who is constantly cleaning and improving the property. Lastly, the prices here are not the cheapest but they are reasonable and with the positive perks you receive as a customer it is well worth it. This is the best storage place in Los Angeles, thanks to Dora! I was very stressed with the move and had lots of questions. I walked into the office in Canoga Park and met Dora. She was the most wonderful person you can imagine! He helped me in every way possible, she was so nice and helpful that suddenly I could relax and feel that everything was going to be fine. She was so positive, helpful, smiley and such a good person. She helped with truck rental too! If you ever need storage, go to Dora. I highly recommend Storage Etc. in Canoga Park. I've been customer of this place for the past six years plus and Dora Perreault is a very hardworking storage manager, always providing exceptional services. She does a great job at keeping the installations but as regular customer upper management needs to appoint an additional person to help her, she already does a lot to manage the place, answers phones, attends the computer, does the cleaning and above all provides best customer service. It is too much for one single person to manage. It would a loss to see someone providing customer excellence gone from this business. I used to store at Storage Etc in Chatsworth and now I'm here at their smaller location in Canoga park. Another great facility with great management. Dora is sweet and very helpful. Prices are a bit higher than Public Storage but I heard Public puts their prices up soon after you move in and access hours are not nearly as good as Etc. Yes there are rat traps everywhere but I've never seen one so they must be working. Storage places can attract rats if tenants store trash but the management seems to take it seriously and that's all I care about. It's a nice place and easy access until 9pm which is the best in the area as far as I can tell. Recommended. read more

Wow, incredible service. They essentially gave me everything I could possibly need to set up my storage unit. They had boxes, a van that I rented, dollies... if you need it, they've got it. One particular employee was very helpful! I think his name was Dustin or something. He was great, and he told me everything I needed to know! He gave me an accurate price, he got me the boxes I needed, and he answered every question I had. Security also seemed like it will work, though I guess time will tell! The storages are quick and easy to get to. I love that the storages have a light and electric plug. Because I am using it for my inventory and I am able to use my label printer and don't have to ask anyone for anything. I wish lights was better but it's a single light bulb so I have to jiggy rig my own extra light but I had to work with a head light so it's not that bad. Employee that was in the office is super helpful and let me reserve the unit for a week so I could get situated for the move. I recommend you come and take a peek at this place. read more

Hi, I've had storage here for 3years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They make courtesy calls to prevent late payments so you're never blindsided. Recently I've wanted to downsize and move to a smaller unit and the office staff made sure I got a 50% discount I wouldn't have been aware of. They won't let you forget if you are getting close to defaulting on the unit as they want to help you stay in their unit. They've got all the up-to-date payment methods. Storage Etc in Canoga Park has a secure, clean location for your belongings. Over a number of years, I've trusted them with my possessions and never had a problem and the price is really not bad for what it is. Happy that I was able to find a storage big enough to get all my crap together. I had 3 storages elsewhere this place is basically the same with the dry wall unit which I was cautious at 1st but nothing ever happened but place is well kept and staff was friendly and helpful.
