Ok, so in the Wild Wild West of self-service storage, where it seems prices can rise at the drop of a hat, residing in sketchy areas and with sketchy people, this place is paradise. Dave, who handled sales at the front desk is awesome. Fun guy, very customer-service focused. Everything was super clear and straightforward. The facility itself is SPOTLESS. Seriously. Beautiful polished concrete floors etc. and NOT more expensive than other places in the area. It feels super safe and upscale. I just started to be in business with them but prepaid for a few months to lock in prices, and right now, I have faith they will be fair later. It's no wonder people store their antique and sports cars here as well(we saw a few and it was awesome). Right now, looking really good. read more

This review is for customer service. I have not used the storage facility yet and cannot speak to the practices of the company at this time, but I'm hopeful. Sam helped us look at units and was very friendly from the start. He was informative and welcoming. The unit was clean as was the entire facility. We decided on a unit and after reserving it, we came back the following week to complete the rental transaction. Smooth. No issues. The cost for the unit is reasonable as well. After signing the contract, I will say there is some scary verbiage about rent increases, but they said they would work with us when the time comes. So I'm hoping this is not an issue in the future. This review was a long time coming. Cannot say enough about the type of service, friendliness, access, security, communication and welcoming atmosphere at this US Storage Center. From day one, when I submitted my interest in a unit, I received a call the same day for me to call them back to setup an appointment to look at several units. Life got in the way and I was unable to make it to my scheduled appointment because of a family medical emergency. Patty was more than accommodating and honored my request to setup another date and time. When I arrived for my appointment, Dave was at the front counter and welcomed my gf and I. From the "get go" I was sold and knew right at that moment I was going to rent a unit. Dave showed me around the facility, how to access the storage location from the outside, and how to open my unit. Dave made sure I knew how to use my access code and how to open my unit making sure everything was good and ready to go so I can move in as soon as possible. Patty also made me feel at home and remembered our conversation from our email communication. Wow, I felt I was family. In fact, I ran into one of my work colleagues and he had nothing but rave reviews for Dave and Patty. The storage facility is clean and safe, climate controlled, and very secure. Climate control for me was everything since a local storage facility down the street does not have climate control for the outrageous hike in fees over the last 2 years. If you are looking for a storage facility or are ready to part ways with your current storage facility, like I did, look no further and rent with US Storage - Plummer, Chatsworth, for excellent service, friendliness, climate control, and cleanliness inside and out in a safe environment where you do not see sketchy people whatsoever. I had a very bad experience with Patty B, the facility manager who acts like a super boss. If you are going to meet her, work, or rent a unit from her facility, all you can expect are two faces of Patty. The first face is when you visit her office; she smiles, talks to you nicely, and even gives you chocolate. However, right after you step out of her office, she changes her demeanor to that of an arrogant person. I had a driver, Duane, who had a dark skin. Every time he visited the storage as part of our job, Patty B issued fines, complained at every step, and imposed fees without even seeking clarification. This pattern of behavior extended to other workers as well. She made a mistake by charging my card for a "punishment fee" over the phone without a credit card authorization form, even though I explicitly requested one. (See attachments) Subsequently, THEIR bank rejected the charge because she did not charge with right way, yet she claimed that we initiated a chargeback, which is impossible without the full amount being posted on the account. She imposed various types of fees, including late fees and chargeback fees.(See attachment) I would greatly appreciate it if the corporate office takes into account her actions and attitudes towards individuals with dark skin. I believe, with 100% certainty, that I am not the only one who has suffered from her actions. I strongly advise others to STAY AWAY from this facility. However, there two people, names Dan and Jose, they are really professional, decent and great that you would love to work with. Especially Dan is really great worker who deserves the all respect. I think those people would have handle all these without loosing any big tenants. read more

I've been a customer here for a couple of years since another public storage company I shan't name hiked their prices yet again. I get more space for less money, easier access, and the parking is plentiful. I've had a tough time of late due to the writers and actors being on strike and Patty and the guys have bent over backwards to accommodate me, waived a couple of late fees and generally been the decent people they always are. read more

So, we're new to the RV game and my wife and I purchased an Airstream in July, we wanted to make sure that our new baby was well watched after and cared for. And since we knew that our first series of trips would be north of LA into the Central Coast, we thought that a space in the valley would make the most sense. What a gem this place is! Fully secured, you need to call the office for entrance to the lot. Patty, the gatekeeper is a Diamond in the rough. So pleasant, professional and thorough. The fact that she has a smile on her face 100% of the time is just icing on the case. Dave, Chris and Jose, you guys all rock. But a special mention has to go out to Bob, who not only is a ball of positive energy whenever I see him, but goes above and beyond when help is needed. Just today, the chain on the stabilizing bar of my Blue Ox got jammed. Bob took the time to assess the situation, grab the appropriate tools and remedy the problem, all with a smile. He probably spent 20 minutes working this problem for me and I'm so grateful that he did. I haven't even mentioned the valet service! Yes. You simply pull your RV into the lot, un-hitch and they'll park it for you whether you have an indoor or outdoor space. Not sure how other RV storage facilities operate but these guys knock it out of the park. If they were closer to the 101 or the 405 they'd be getting 10 stars from me but since that's out of their control, 5 enthusiastic stars will have to do. read more

Patty was extremely friendly and helpful from the very first phone call! Bob gave us a guided tour once we got there. He couldn't have been more helpful! The facility has high standards on security and cleanliness, which I love! They offer free use of the flatbed dollies and make it very convenient to gain access from the unloading areas and to the units. I am having a POD delivered with my belongings. Some storage facilities aren't "POD friendly" but Patty put me right at ease with explaining to me where the POD can be delivered for unpacking, etc! They offer great pricing as well as specials! They have kept the center spick and span and also affordable, but please note they do increase rent to the regular rate after your beginning months. I get to enjoy 70's music tunes they have playing while organizing and gathering items from my unit. Storage hallways have automatic sensored lights which is nice. Whenever I need assistance the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you need boxes or dollies they have them up front in the office. Every member of the team that we interacted with was super helpful and kind in the quality of service they delivered. We rented an outdoor space and had no issues anytime we needed to drop-off or pick-up our trailer. I wish more RV storage companies would look to this team and try to match their service-offerings and quality of service.
