I've been a loyal customer for more than a decade, across multiple vehicles. One experience was all it took to end that loyalty. I won't be back. I booked an online appointment on 4/20 for brake service on 4/22 and clearly described the issue. I dropped my car off at 6:30 AM. By 3 PM -- after my car sat there for nearly nine hours -- I finally received a message "recommending" new pads and rotors. That was already obvious. I asked if the work could be done by 4 PM. They said they needed to "check for parts." The follow‑up call? No parts available, but they could still do my alignment. When I asked why nothing had been done all day, the response I got was: "I had other things to do." If that's their attitude toward customers, then they clearly don't need mine. Their escalation process loops right back to the same service center, meaning there is zero accountability and no real path to resolution. The customer service is unacceptable, and I'm still trying to find someone -- anyone -- in higher management who actually takes responsibility. read more

I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews on this place. I've been bringing my vehicles here for years probably over a dozen different visits every single time not only has the manager or person working inside been super helpful and polite but it's almost always lower cost than what I expect. I'm so used to the typical automotive places that do try and rip you off and oversaw you but I never get that from this place. I always talk to the guys and tell them that I am looking for a low cost higher and they usually find me something under $100 which is really nice. Today I went in and had them check my smoking break as well as some loose bolts on my suspension because I had it done by someone else recently. They checked out everything and even told me I had a leaking valve stem. When I got there to pick it up they told me there was no cost because they hadn't really done anything they were just checking it out for me. Hard to believe this even happened because everywhere wants to charge you money for just doing nothing. I will continue giving them my business. read more

If you're ever looking for a place that's going to take over 48 hours for an oil change, these are your guys!

This place is a scam. When my girlfriends window got busted and we took it in, they replaced it for $440. We get the car back, there's still glass all over the inside of the car and in the door pane you can hear glass inside it. A day later the window will not go all the way up, dropped it back off again and they wanted another $195 to take the panel off again and look at it, also said it could potentially cost more because the window button could be causing this? No, that's wrong the button works just fine, the window still goes up and down but it seems off track. Literally trying to get another $195 just to take the panel off. Do yourself a favor and take your business some elsewhere. read more

There is nothing worse than getting in your car on your way to work, and your car not starting. Well maybe that AND it being a Monday. I got towed to Bob's and they had to do some diagnostics on my car. Turns out I needed a new fuel pump, to the tune of about 600$. I'm fairly sure they weren't the cheapest, but they had great customer service. The same person called me everyday twice a day until my car was fixed. Even if it was just to say the part had come in or that they needed a bit more time. I really appreciated the updates as being without a car can be kind of nerve wracking. The good news is they have a store card with zero interest for 3 months. So my car crapping out on me might not ruin Christmas after all! read more

Bob Sumerel really cares... About their bottom line. Was towed here with one flat tire. I was told the other was going to go basically any second. Foolishly I believed them but had them put it in my trunk as a spare. I had a tire guy check it out and it had months left on it. Don't get taken by this place. read more

Paul and his crew were fantastic. They gave us a fair quote, explained the work that needed to get done, and delivered on the timeline and work as promised. Very communicative with updates and questions throughout the process too. They did an alignment, rotated the tires, and changed the rear axle fluid. Will be back! read more

Ok, maybe I just needed a patch for a slow leak, but none the less this place was awesome. In and out in no time flat....uh maybe not a good reference, the flat part and all. But still! i love bob sumerel! they are totally trustworthy and reliable. sometimes i will even think i need something done and they will tell me i don't (they keep better track of my service schedule than i do). i know that i can always trust them to tell me what is really wrong with my car and fix it and not try to charge me extra or do work i don't need. i started going here after another repair shop had "fixed" a problem twice, only to have it come back. it turned out they were fixing the wrong problem. as others have said, their customer service is always excellent too... they will call you that day to let you know what their timeline is and will always give you as many options as they can in terms of cost and repairs. i have been going here for years and am always very happy with them. read more

I had an incident with my BMW while driving through I-75 S to Florida. While passing through Cincinnati downtown on I-75 my front tire was completely busted hitting a huge pothole on the highway. I was lucky that the car did not veer sideways and I had run flat tires and through some local help slowly managed to drive to Bob Sumeral Tire Service on 48,W Court St,Cincinnati in end June this summer. I was at the workshop for 2 hours and kudos to every one at the shop. Though the tire was not available at the shop or in neighboring areas but every on at the shopnwas co-operative and helpful to contact the BMW dealers and allowed my family sit and relax in their offices for more than 2 hours with water and coffee.They allocated a parking space and a young man Jason helped me in every way possible and even waited past 6pm while we were waiting for towing.My thanks to all the guys there and specially to Jason. I bought brand 4 new tires from Bob Sumeral in March 2013. I have had 6 flat tires since then and only one was a puncture from a nail. The rest were all seal issues from installment and one was because the flat wasn't inspected throughly for holes. I do not recommend going there at all even with the discount. read more

I dropped my truck off for a brake problem at 9:00. The salesperson J. Fischer told me that it would be no problem taking a look at it due to the fact that there where only two car in the shop and they were slow. At 3:00 I called them and the told me that they had just pulled it in to look at it and would call me back. I left from work at 4:00 and drove there. My truck was in the shop with the hood up but the front tires were still on it. The manager told me that the customers in the waiting room were bugging him to get their cars done so that's the reason he had not looked at my truck. A half an hour later he informs me that I blew a brake line on the drivers front and his mechanics could not loosen the bleeder valves on either calipers. He informed me that both brake lines, calipers and pads would need to be replaced for about 900.00. It's hard to believe that they could see all those problems with no taking off the front wheels and only lifting up the hood. It seems to me that this is a racket to not take of a problem but to gouge a customer who doesn't know anything about their vehicle and blindly pay the money. The salesperson needs to be retrained on how to run the counter and run the shop. read more

This place was amazing. The air conditioning vent of my car became unscrewed and was dragging as I drived. We pulled in there and a guy ran out to fix it in a jiff! They were polite, friendly, and super helpful. To top that, they didn't even charge me for the quick fix since it was so minor! True gentleman. In addition, having the enterprise right nearby is also helpful if you had to leave your car over night. They do say that sometimes they fill up so quickly you need an appointment, so keep that in mind. read more
