I had a very disappointing experience at this AAA location. Despite being the only customer in the building, I was rushed through the transaction, and it was obvious the saleswoman's focus was on upselling rather than providing genuine service. I kept telling my associate that my address was not in California due to being in the military, but she signed me up for the California club anyways. I'm still not confident I have the correct service for my needs. The interaction felt impersonal and driven by sales targets, not by my needs as a AAA member for ~8 years. Don't get me wrong, I got what I needed and they did it quickly, but overall it was a depressing experience. The office environment also felt unnecessarily tense... one staff member told me they were going to work regular hours (9-6) on New Year's Eve. Even the military allow minimum manning during the holiday periods to allow their members adequate celebration time with their families. I'm glad I don't work for this AAA club. Overall, I left feeling like a number, not a valued member. AAA should hold its locations to a higher standard. read more

Unsure why what's wrong with negative star reviews. Overall I had a great experience with AAA from watching my parents had a car broke down as a child. And AAA is always there to the rescue, it may not be as fast as you want it to be but they do their best to get to you within 2-4hrs or soon depending how many personnel they have. The fastest my parents was helped was 45min upon tow truck arrival. Keep in mind, it is a though world out there in regards to manning, so you can't honestly deduct an automatically 1 star for the sake of convenience because in the end result, you've been provided the best quality service out their nation wide. Look at all the businesses out there, everyone is short staff. If you want faster service in regards to road side assistance, I encourage you to apply and be a part of the solution for other customers and not be a part of a Karen/Kenny who likes to complain for one small thing. AAA was made aware that the tow truck company that they requested for my tow was canceled by Golden State Towing. I called AAA to make sure that I still had a tow from Golden State towing and 3 times I was assured that a tow would be there. The last time I called AAA I asked how long this time and a guy told 1 hr and 6 mins. When I asked why? I was told your tow is being cancelled and that I needed to figure out how to get my disabled car home. It was unreal. read more

I called AAA on Wednesday to see if my battery was dead or just needed a jump start. I was told that the wait would be 45 minutes to 1 hour. Someone finally came out 2.5 hours later. It wouldn't jump start and he had no batteries with him. I would need to call AAA again. I called and they said they would make it a priority. One hour later they called to say no one was available call on Thursday. I called Thursday morning. The wait would be one hour. Two hours later they called saying that one service provider did not have my battery and did not know when one would come in. The other service provider's battery person quit the day before and they would need time to train a new person. I asked why couldn't they get a battery delivered from an out of network provider. Oh no, they can't do that. I was told that by a rep and the supervisor. The absolute best they can do is tow my car to Sacramento (45 miles away). I would need to get someone to take me there. I am disabled. I do not drive out of town or more than 10 miles at a time. So, if I couldn't make it home...oh well. My battery is a AAA battery with a warranty. I am now stuck without any service, a worthless warranty and trying to find some way to get a battery. AAA service is absolutely worthless. Get your roadside service somewhere else. read more

I requested a tow truck at 11:40am. My request was processed and I was reassured that a tow truck would arrive between 60 and 90 minutes. 120 minutes later, after sitting in 100 degree heat with a dead battery and shot alternator, I called AAA with the 10% left on my phone battery while I was stranded 2.5 hours away from home and asked what the delay was. The representative who answered the phone told me my request had been cancelled due to lack of driver availability and that someone had called me but had not left a voicemail. I never received a phone call. Not once, not twice, never. I was left sitting for 2 hours in extreme heat with heart problems that are easily aggravated by extreme temperatures. I explained the situation to the representative, who informed me the soonest we could tow my vehicle would be Monday morning. The vehicle was broken down in my college campus parking lot and would be towed away by the school if it was left overnight again. The representative had to leave me on hold for 20+ minutes at a time while attempting to find a solution. At this point it is 230, 3 hours after I initially requested a truck and was reassured it would be there within the hour. I took it amongst myself to contact a towing company , T & T towing, who informed me AAA could use their services and we would get the vehicle home same-day. When I relayed that info to the AAA representative on the phone she told me they were not contracted with that company and could not use them. That same company eventually picked up my car and towed it home. The representative informed me I would have to have the vehicle towed to a shop, and Monday it would be towed home. That was the only option given to me. When the tow truck driver finally arrived nearly 4 hours later, he informed me he could absolutely tow the vehicle home and was unsure why the AAA respresentative said otherwise. After a 12 hour day of travelling, stress, anxiety, and extreme aggravation of my chronic illness we were finally able to get the vehicle home at 6pm. I am absolutely shocked and disappointed by the customer service provided to me by AAA and will seek insurance coverage and roadside assistance from another company in the future. The poor treatment of customers and of tow truck drivers that is done bun AAA is disgusting. The driver informed me there are times he will be given EIGHT calls at once, and a quick google searches confirmed the sh!tty treatment of those poor drivers. read more
