One of my kids has autism and apraxia and the owner Amanda has provided endless support to help him continue to make progress. She was able to identify that one of my kids has low muscle tone, I didn't even realize that he couldn't even move his tongue or his mouth. Oral motor exercises has helped help gain control and movement of his mouth. That's just 1 area of the many ways they have helped my son. Advantes Speech Clinic has been a blessing to our family. We have had other speech therapist at other clinics and I can truly say the implementation of appropriate technique was not there. (And Spanish too, by the way) Later on I started to receive my EOB and it was showing that I overpay each session. I spoke to them about it and instead of refund they told me my sons score too high to be covered by insurance. They stopped submitting claims and try to cancel previous ones. My mom lived there from July 2018 until she passed in January 2020. Jennifer is the sweetest administrator, communicates well and is at the home every day. The caregivers took excellent care of my mother who suffered from MS 0- they changed her diapers frequently, spoon fed her, bathed her, talked and laughed with her and loved her. I only know the names of the caregivers who were there towards the end of my mom's stay there - Bina, Matthew and Ernie. My mom loved and cared about them too and was very very happy and comfortable there. My mom always looked happy and clean and warm when we visited her and she never had any complaints on her care. They moved my mom to a private room with a view of the Golf Course due to her high need of care but she loved it and watched TV every day, The other residents at the home were so nice also. One of the best things the home did was have monthly parties for any holidays and birthdays in the month. They prepared a delicious dinner, including Filipino food and invited all their residents' families. My mom had a large family with 3 daughters, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren but we were all welcome and treated with love whenever we came for either the monthly parties or just to visit. Jennifer and the caregivers had so much love for my mom, attended her service and did not remove her items from her room until our family was ready to get them. They treated her as another family member, not a source of income, I will be forever grateful for my mom's happiness while she stayed there, I highly recommend Lejenz Home Care for your family member. We had a bad experience at another board and care facility in Diamond Bar so I can say Lejenz provides excellent customer service and care.

I visit her once a month (or so) and we have gone to the resident dining maybe twenty times. From the first time I was shocked by the quality of the food. My first time I was expecting an old-school cafeteria-style food service with metal trays and food slopped onto the plate. This was completely different. The food was shockingly good, and the meal of the day (lunch) always has a soup, a main meal and a dessert. It's not overly fancy but the food in actually really tasty and they give you good size portions. The staff are very attentive and polite and the experience is a very pleasant dining experience. Today we had garden vegetable soup along with pot roast, scalloped potatoes and peas, with apple pie for dessert. The pot roast was excellent and the potatoes were exceptional. You know the food is good when the head chef/manager of food service is there talking with residents to make sure she gets feedback concerning the food that she prepared. Currently the dining area in being remodeled and should be done by the end of this year. So, the dining area currently is less then amazing, and what they can offer is limited. I'm looking forward to the new dining experience once they have their grand opening later this year.

She made the move in much easier than it would have been, despite the massive challenges that she faced with the unique situation we were in. The food is amazing, the staff really care about the residents, and it is a wonderful alternative for seniors who need assistance in their daily living situations. Jessica and Tara have constantly in consistently gone FAR above and beyond to help with all of the personal issues and obstacles that we were dealing with in trying to get settled in. Daily rehabilitation with patients and very good food service. My mother in law has her own private suite room with a window and the bathroom that is very big. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY WITH YOUR LOVED ONE. If your…read moreloved one needs professional medical care after a hospital stay, please think very carefully before choosing this facility. While the building looks nice and the rooms are private, that is where the positives end. In our experience, the medical oversight was deeply concerning. The physician refused to adjust treatment plans despite clear and ongoing signs of decline. Even as our loved one showed both objective and obvious symptoms worsening over time, no meaningful changes were made. There appeared to be a lack of proper assessments, and when serious issues were identified -- primarily because family members insisted on testing -- there was little urgency or corrective action. Staff did not consistently follow orders and did not seem to recognize signs of medical decline. Concerns raised by family were often minimized. For three days we requested that our loved one be transferred to the ER due to significant changes in mental status and severe migraine symptoms. The physician refused. When EMS was finally called, emergency personnel immediately recognized the seriousness of her condition. We had to sign a waiver to transfer her to a hospital 20 minutes away because she was considered unstable -- yet staff at the facility continued to say she was "fine." Within days of transfer, her condition deteriorated to the point where she could not speak or swallow and became nearly unresponsive. We were preparing funeral arrangements. She later described experiencing severe hallucinations and believing she was in hell. It was profoundly traumatic for her and our entire family. We also discovered she was not receiving the correct dosage of a critical medication that had been ordered by her previous facility. This likely contributed significantly to her decline. Had we left her there even one more day, we firmly believe she would not have survived. Our loved one had none of these issues prior to admission to this facility, and since receiving proper hospital care and being restored to her previous treatment plan, these issues have resolved. We will be filing formal complaints with the appropriate medical and licensing boards. In our opinion, this facility is not equipped to safely manage medically complex post-acute patients. If your loved one only needs stable rehabilitation, it may be adequate. But if they require close medical monitoring, I strongly urge you to consider other options. Our family went through an avoidable nightmare. Please advocate aggressively for your loved ones.
