I've worked with 2 doctors here and both were outstanding and consistent. I was asked multiple times throughout my visit if there was anything they could do to make my dental visit comfortable and if I had any concerns. I also recieved follow ups from the Dr for my pain levels. Their communication style and genuine curiosity in each patient's concern is what makes them a fantastic team. Although I had tried one other dentist prior to coming here and had a bad experience with them not wanting to do a regular cleaning....too long to explain but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Growing up I worked in a dental office and got to sit chair-side with the dentist and watch his exchanges and genuine concern for his patients. Dr Bailey was his name. He wore those small binoculars just like Dr Nguyen. Dr Nguyen reminded me a lot of Dr Bailey in his care and patience to explain my teeth concerns but what I really caught a glimpse of today was his honesty. Dr Nguyen was honest in his "suspicions" as so he called them when he explained what he though was causing my teeth discomfort. Also loved his staff, everyone was so nice and took great care in making sure I was comfortable especially those X-rays! I'm actually insisting to my husband that he switch over. I think it's so important to dedicate yourself and love what you do cause it really shows in how you treat people and I want the staff to know that they've made a difference in my life and I'm so grateful for my teeth cleaning. I got my pearly whites and I'm back on schedule with my routine appointments. Feels good!

Review is for services provided a few years back. Part of…read moremy molar had chipped off, so I came here for the convenient location. Since I was new, they had to do X-rays and a preliminary checkup. X-rays took a long time. Either the assistant was new or needed more practice, but I tried to be understanding. After the checkup, they gave me a slightly high estimate. It's hard for me to get time off, so I agreed. Wished they were open on weekends. The assistant stated that the dentist happened to be free to do two crowns, but he ended up bouncing around between me and other scheduled patients, which made the whole process last over half a day. Not sure if they underestimated the time of the procedure or if they double booked me. The temporary crowns fell off twice and eventually cracked when I was eating. When I finally returned to get my permanent crowns, the assistant laughed it off saying I saved them the trouble or removing them. After my permanent crowns were in, one felt oversized, but the dentist explained the crown was already very thin and may crack if made even thinner, so I accepted it. As they wrapped up my paperwork, the receptionist claimed I was undercharged due them entering the wrong billing code and that I needed to pay more than originally estimated. This was ridiculous. I inquired how nobody could catch such an error, and she mentioned the person who entered them was new. I explained that I would not have agreed to the procedures if I had known, and that I had only agreed to the original estimate. Luckily I had made a copy because I think they already entered the new estimate and erased the old one. I told them I would first discuss this with my insurance before agreeing to any "new estimates". Then they stated that there were some additional charges for services not originally stated. These additions were not disclosed to me, but since it was a small amount, I decided to pay it and get out as soon as possible. Eventually, I called my insurance provider regarding this matter but never got a follow up. I also switched to another dentist who redid those crowns, but it did not feel oversized. I hope they have improved and others will have a better experience. But based on my personal experience, it is hard for me to recommend this place.

I've known my dentist, Dr. Sanjay Doshi, for nearly 30 years, as he was my mom's dentist for over…read more25 years and he's been my dentist for the past couple of years. In May of 2025, I received a diagnosis of a highly aggressive, highly metastatic head & neck cancer, of the tonsil, over nine lymph nodes and base of tongue. This type of oropharyngeal cancer threw me into a club that no one should ever be a part of. I was told that without immediate, intensive radiation and chemo (requiring extensive other treatment radiation dentistry), it was terminal. I was given weeks to months. The condition was serious. And time wasn't on my side. After being assessed by my oncology team, I was informed I required the highest level of radiation a patient could be given (70), all the way around my neck, and that I would potentially have dental decay, lose some or all of my teeth have jaw bone decay or even jaw death. My physicians and specialists, including Dr. Doshi, were surprised about my diagnosis. But Dr. Doshi was always confident, from the very start, that I'd get through this, though time was not on my side. He gave me hope from the very start that I would not only survive, but that I would come through this on the other side, and thrive. Thankfully, he was right. Dr. Doshi immediately took me under his dental care, for radiation dentistry, immediately contacted my radiation oncologist, coordinated with him, and began to prep me for radiation (radiation of this nature should never begin until all dental decay and pending dental issues have been addressed). This involved a great deal of work. I never felt overwhelmed about the dentistry, as Doshi took care to keep me safe while working at warp speed to expedite my dental care needs, so that I could quickly begin my treatments. In one month, Dr Doshi did a year's worth of dental work, and he instantly became the a key figure in my cancer care team. Or as I call them, my dream team. He handled my imaging, testing, exams, x-rays, 3 necessary root canals, he had necessary custom fitted, upper and lower radiation guards made (to protect my teeth and gums from radiation during radiation), and a custom fitted, upper and lower fluoride trays, for my daily care, post radiation and chemo. He worked with precision and speed, to ensure I went into my cancer treatments healthy and strong. I went into my treatments with no dental issues or oral infections. It was a brutal cancer treatment. Only someone who's been through this level and type of treatment can truly know how brutal, but I made it through. Thankfully, I am in remission. With a less than 5% chance of recurrence. Radiation to the neck and head can seriously compromise one's dental health, in the short term and long term, so radiation dentistry is necessary before and indefinitely after such an intensive cancer treatment. So I will continue to see Dr. Doshi, moving forward, for closer care - involving more frequent cleanings, more frequent dental exams, and laser gum therapy - to minimize the chances of greater dental damage down the line. He's gone above and beyond in ensuring my dental health is tended to so that my quality of life can be improved upon and hopefully maintained for the remainder of my years. And simultaneously, Thanks to Dr. Doshi, 7 months after cancer treatment ended, I've not lost a single tooth, while other patients reported loss of many or all teeth. I hope to spare my teeth for the long run.

I took my mother here for a consultation after seeing so many glowing Yelp reviews. Unfortunately,…read moreour experience was the complete opposite. During the consultation, he recommended extracting all of my mother's teeth. After reading other reviews afterward, I was surprised to see similar experiences described by other patients. That raised concerns for me because it seemed to be a recurring theme. The consultation itself was also very unpleasant. While I was quietly looking at my phone researching other dentists, his demeanor became rude, condescending, and unprofessional. We were so uncomfortable that we walked out before the consultation was even finished. One thing I also noticed is that many of the negative reviews seem to receive responses disputing or denying the reviewers' experiences. If he responds to this review by claiming he doesn't recommend full-mouth extractions, I can only speak to what happened during our consultation: that is exactly what he recommended for my mother. Another thing that struck me as unusual was that he appeared to have no office staff. He answered the phone himself, scheduled the appointment himself, and handled everything personally. At first, I thought that level of involvement was a nice personal touch. After our experience, however, it left me questioning the practice. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this office. I strongly encourage anyone considering major dental work, especially something as significant as extracting all of their teeth, to get one or even two additional opinions before moving forward.

I came to Dental Matrix seeking a permanent restoration after my endodontist completed a root canal…read moreretreatment through my existing crown. During the retreatment, the endodontist thoroughly cleaned and disinfected the root canal system using GentleWave technology before referring me back to my general dentist for the final restoration. Before my examination, I had scheduled a cleaning and evaluation of the temporary filling placed after my root canal retreatment. I was told the office would not perform the cleaning without taking new X-rays. I offered to provide the recent X-rays and CBCT scan from my endodontist, but I was told those were not sufficient because the office required its own imaging. As a result, I underwent both a full-mouth series of X-rays and a panoramic (360-degree) X-ray before any cleaning or treatment was performed. While my insurance ultimately covered the imaging, I left questioning why the extensive imaging from my endodontist, including a recent CBCT scan, was not sufficient for my cleaning and evaluation and why additional imaging was required before any treatment would be provided. During my visit, Dr. Quinn Yu recommended replacing the entire crown rather than simply restoring the access opening. Because this involved several thousand dollars in recommended treatment, I wanted to understand the clinical basis for that recommendation before proceeding. I asked whether she saw evidence of infection, recurrent decay, leakage, or another clinical reason requiring the crown to be replaced. The office acknowledged receiving my questions and told me the doctor would review them and get back to me. As of August 5, 2026, that never happened. When you're asking a patient to proceed with several thousand dollars in additional treatment, answering reasonable follow-up questions shouldn't require repeated emails that go unanswered. My appointment was on July 21, and despite multiple follow-up emails, I have still never received a response from Dr. Yu to any of my treatment questions. At the same time, I requested copies of my digital X-rays because I wanted a second opinion. I was initially told the office could provide my X-rays once they were paid by my insurance company. Later, when I formally requested my records, I was told there would be a $50 fee. I was not refusing to pay a reasonable fee. I simply asked what the $50 covered, whether there was a different fee for electronic copies of my digital X-rays, and how the amount was determined. Despite multiple written requests, no one ever answered those questions. The lack of communication became so frustrating that I decided to seek care elsewhere. I first arranged for my records to be sent to another dental office but ultimately changed providers because of the ongoing communication issues. I then had to submit another authorization for a different dentist before my records were finally transferred on August 4, 2026. My biggest disappointment wasn't the treatment recommendation itself. Dentists can have different opinions, and I respect that. What I cannot understand is recommending thousands of dollars in treatment while never answering reasonable questions about why it was being recommended. Patients deserve clear communication, timely responses, and transparency. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I cannot recommend this office based on the way my concerns and requests were handled.

The treatment plan included figuring out the original implants that had been placed, color matching, one veneer to fix a gap from previous dental treatment, and bonding. The whole process took about 2-months from start to finish, as I needed to have time between appointments for Dr to order the crowns, re-order new crowns for better color matching, then he wanted me to have time to live life a couple weeks to make sure I was happy with the temporary crowns before making them permanent. I enjoyed going to each appointment. Ulga was kind and friendly. The office was clean and had little details that I found to be calming, including candles and aesthetically pleasing decorations. My friends & coworkers can all attest to my long diatribes when someone mentions having a wisdom tooth removed and I begin gushing about my own wisdom tooth extraction experiences. "You should go to my dentist, he's awesome," I'll exclaim, and then begin telling them about how I've had all of mine removed by Dr. Han with next to no discomfort, and I am always amazed when I hear of others' stories of painful results with other dentists. Although my positive experiences don't just stop at teeth cleanings and wisdom tooth extractions. For years Dr. Han had been pestering me to get a bite guard for my teeth grinding. I was stubborn and never did...until I started having issues with TMJ. I returned, defeated, and asked about it, and after a little scolding for ignoring his warnings and several x-rays showing the damage that was caused in my jaw, he suggested a "TMJ-bite- stabilizer" to fix the issue. I'll admit, despite my always positive experiences, I was skeptical, but ultimately relented. Having one's jaw stuck open quickly becomes good motivation to listen to the experts and do as they suggest! After just a couple weeks of treatment my jaw issues had all but disappeared. It has now been...roughly over a year (give or take?) and my jaw issues have never once returned! I can't emphasize enough how valuable this treatment was, and am still surprised at how quickly it worked. So chalk that up to yet another success for the good doctor, and I am as always, quite grateful for not only his expertise, but care and professionalism. I have recommended him to anyone who mentions "dentist" in my vicinity, and I will continue to recommend him for anyone who needs dental work done of any kind.
