My husband and I went to Peyton Dental and saw Dr. Park he informed us that I had ONE cavity, and my husband had FIVE cavities . He also recommended immediate cleanings and scheduled follow-up appointments for restorative work. While my husband proceeded with the cleaning, I declined because there is a $100 charge solely for a mouth rinse after cleaning. I find that excessive and unreasonable. Upon further reflection, we canceled the future appointments. Today (3 months later) we saw a different dentist. That dentist determined that my husband had ONE cavity and that I have NONE. This discrepancy is deeply troubling and raises serious concerns about the accuracy of diagnoses and the potential for unnecessary dental procedures. Recommending treatment that is not needed not only violates patient trust but borders on unethical behavior. Furthermore, charging $100 for a simple mouth rinse is exploitative and unacceptable. We have reported this matter to Delta Dental regulatory board. We expect a written explanation of this incident and a refund of any inappropriate charges. Everyone in my family has been seeing Dr. Park for the past several years, and in my 60+ years on this planet, Dr. Park is the first dentist that I have ever come across that I don't have fears about going to or have nightmares the days leading up to my appointments. Dr. Park found that two of my molars were cracked and needed to have crowns put on. He did an exceptional job, and have had absolutely no problems. Dr. Park was very clear about have gold crowns instead of porcelain, explaining that the gold ones would be much better in the long run. Dr. Park's use of humor in his practice is outstanding, and gives the patient a sense of ease when he is working. If I could give Dr. Park more than 5 stars I would. I have gone to several different dentists in the area over the past 10 years. I felt Dr. Park was far more patient and informative when showing me areas in my teeth that required work. In the past, Dentists just show me an x-ray with a spot that they think needs work. Dr. Park takes a photograph and shows you the cavity in your teeth that require work. He never tried to pressure me into doing any work. He simply informed me of my options. Update: I had so much pain for a year after my dental work. I don't know for certain that it was Dr Park's work that caused the pain or what, but I ended up going to another dentist and got a root canal and crown to help with the pain. I had zero pain before I ever had work done with Dr. Park, but the pain never stopped until I received the root canal and crown later. read more

Dr. Park is very patient and thorough with any procedure whether it is big or small. I have been coming to Peyton Dental for most of my life and I really love it here. All of the staff are very friendly and kind but also professional. They are very efficient and never take too long with anything. It is super easy to make an appointment and everything is a very streamlined process. They even give out little dental kits that include a toothbrush, floss, mouthwash, and toothpaste at the end of an appointment. Not only did I have regular procedures done here but I have also experienced the orthodontics. I had my braces for a little over a year and it has been almost 3 years since I took them off but I am extremely happy with my teeth now. All the orthodontics appointments were quick and generally as painless as teeth adjustments could be. I am so glad I got my braces here. Overall, Dr. Park really cares about the well-being of patients and is very thorough with everything he does. If I could give ZERO stars I would! NEVER AGAIN! I was new to the area and visited Dr. Park April 2016 and am STILL suffering from the sensitivity his work on my teeth caused. I cannot and have not been able to chew or get liquid near the left side of my mouth now for EIGHT MONTHS - even after visiting a different dentist for an emergency appointment for relief of pain. As a person Dr. Park is kind and rather talkative but his dental work is painfully aggressive. I visited in April for a simple New Patient 6-month cleaning and left in tears. He insisted I had EIGHT cavities that needed to be treated right then and there but didn't discuss with me what level of comfort I was with drilling and fillings, if I wanted to schedule another appointment to take care of them, or even show me on my x-Rays where he was seeing all these cavities. (Mind you, I had visited my family dentist just 6-months before, and he had reported NOTHING. I'm a freak about my teeth.) He kept my mouth open as he worked on my teeth for 30-45 minutes, it was one of the most painful experiences in my life. That in itself was terrible; however, I went back to him (like an idiot) for my 6-month cleaning in May 2016 - and he went ahead with the cleaning which took 15 MINUTES tops. He uses all electric tools and just grinds away at your teeth to rid them of the plaque and calcium buildup. It was so uncomfortable and my teeth didn't feel anywhere near clean. Also, at that same appointment I asked him about the sensitivity and he admitted he had "overfilled the cavities with composite" so essentially my bite had changed and I was now chewing on areas of my teeth that had never been chewed on before. Great. He then proceeded to drill the composites down, obviously to no avail. Furthermore, I had visited Dr. Park at the suggestion of my sister who, after I started to complain about the pain, mentioned she developed sensitivity after visiting him as well. It was just a dreadful situation that I'm still suffering from. I would not recommend Peyton Dental to anyone. read more

I enjoy going to my dentist! Dr. Park gives his undivided attention. He asks questions to get a good understanding of what the issues are. He takes time to explain what he'll do, and make sure I understand what is wrong or what needs to be done. He cares about his patients and sets aside time to follow up when needed. He explains the process and pros and cons, and after giving his opinion will still follow the wishes of the patient. Dr. Park's staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The office is clean. Appointments are scheduled so there is never a long wait; I usually see the doctor in a couple minutes. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Park. He's fantastic at what he does, provides fair pricing and explains everything in great detail. Plus, his office is always impeccably clean and his assistants are super friendly and helpful. I've been coming to him for years now and finally got around to writing this review. I would come for regular dental care and then decided I should finally get those adult braces I've been avoiding. He walked me through the entire process and had a very affordable monthly plan. I had to use a palatal expander for a few months and I would come in weekly for a quick check up for no extra fee. He just wanted to make sure things were going well. I finally got the braces put on and it's been about a year. I probably have a year left and we still have regular appointments every 3-4 weeks to see how things are going. The difference has been night and day and I'm looking forward to seeing what my teeth look like when these things finally come off! Keep in mind that I'm someone who would avoid dentists like the PLAGUE when I was younger. I feel so fortunate that I've found a dentist who makes the experience so much better. My parents become patients of Dr. Park first. I would hear many stories starting with, "Oh Dr. Park, told us the funniest story..." When my daughter needed braces, I added him to my list of people to check out. He beat all the other quotes by a LOT! He and his team sat with us and walked thru the whole process. From the braces and what they would accomplish and the length of time they would be needed to the insurance and how that process would go. He is VERY personable! You feel very comfortable with him. He puts Pandora radio up on the big screen in front of you and asks you what kind of music you want him to play. If you are lucky you might get to hear him sing along to a song! His team is very nice too. They are always pleasant and you never feel rushed or put aside. I have had to have my daughter get broken wires fixed at the last minute a few times and they never make me feel bad, they just say, "Of course, come on by." I originally went to Dr. Park almost 2 years ago due to an emergency. I had chipped my front teeth during a vehicular accident and needed some bonding work which I had never experienced before. I was referred to him by a friend. I was so impressed by the equipment, his skill level and the fact that the process took under 10 minutes and was virtually pain free (as pain free as dental work can be novocaine free-by my request). During my appointment, I could hear a child in the next room crying his eyes out from fear until Dr. Park entered to calm him down. He stayed quiet the rest of his appointment. Dr. Park is now my regular dentist because he makes me feel comfortable and he's exceptionally skilled at dental work. He goes the extra mile every time. His skills are impeccable and in the event that anything isn't up-to-par, his work is guaranteed for years.
