I should had came here first!! I have been here in the past and have always received quick service. I wasted time going to another place that was closer when I should have taken the time to come straight here. I did spend some time here since there were several cars ahead of me but considering the work that Aaron's does time went by fast. I do have to say that the TV was a bit loud and with everyone talking and phone ringing I became annoying. (I'm only saying this because if you get easily annoyed: You will) *** This has nothing to do with the great service I received here. This particular location isn't as nice (aesthetically) or fast (speed of service) as the location in Joliet but the end results are the same. I had to wait nearly an hour & a half but it was worth it for the price. ($125 + $35 for labor) I shopped around & Aaron's was definately the cheapest. The customer service is great and the caliber of work is outstanding. They do the job you pay them to do correctly the first time & that's hard to find these days. So I got my windshield replaced and they did a great job with it except for the fact they placed my rear view mirror in the middle of my windshield and proceeded to say it came like that. Now I've been pulled over for it being an obstruction of view so they agreed to move it but they said they couldn't remove the black stick from the glass. They can remove stickers and everything else but you're telling me you can't remove a sticker for the windshield? I won't be coming here again. I spent 180 just for them to mess up the windshield and say they can't do nothing to fix it. read more

Hard to give this company 3 stars, but also hard to go above that...at this moment. The service was great and I was told an hour and a half to replace my window. I was in and out in 40 mins. The staff was very friendly and I have no complaints from that aspect. I had to install issues that were minor but still a problem. The first was the molding inside that runs along the window not being installed properly. The other was missing molding above the windshield, this surprised me. I'm sure this was an honest mistake and it'll be fixed. Hopefully someone at this location sees this and See images below. read more

My rear passenger side window got smashed during a recent break-in. I found these guys on Yelp, and got a quote for $62 when I called them. When I drove over the next day, they confirmed the make/model and price, and told me it'll be done in apx. 1.5 hrs. The people at the counter were very friendly, and they also had a nice, clean waiting area + restroom for customers. They were done with my car in less than an hour. The window they replaced looked just like my old one, and I'm very satisfied overall. I know that the replacement parts they use are second hand, but for this price, who can complain? read more

I have actually brought my vehicle to this location 3 different times and had a good experience all 3 times. The first was because someone had broken 2 windows on the passenger side of my SUV. Both windows were tinted and they replaced both fairly quickly at what I felt was a good price. They looked exactly like my original windows. The Second was for a cracked windshield. They gave me two choices, one had imperfections. I picked the perfect one, which was more, but I still felt was a good price. It was also done fairly quickly. The third time I had a window (electric) that sometimes would go up and down and sometimes would not. They charged me a diagnostic fee (don't remember the amount, but it was reasonable) and found I needed a new regulator/motor, something they didn't have BUT they said if I went and bought one they would put it in at no extra charge. So I immediately bought one and brought it back, and they did just that. Nothing but good experiences with this location. read more

This place definitely have no sense of responsibility or respect for the clients vehicles. Here is my story: I took my truck to get body work done at another place north of this business. The front window needed to get replaced so that body shop called this place to come and replace it. The body shop said that my truck will be ready by 5 pm on Friday. When i called to verify, the guy tells me that the technician replaced the window buy forgot to put the mirror on and that he was coming back the next morning to put it back on. So, i picked up my truck Saturday morning. As i am leaving the body shop, i realize that one of the wipers is loose. I stop my truck and turn the wipers on and it totally came off. I called the body shop back and told him what happen. He then tells me that i need to go to this place and report it so they can replace it. Today it has been a week since i have done this, i still have yet received a call. I spoke to the manager and he said he will call me back in 20 min. 2 hours later, i have yet to receive a call from them. The thing is that the technician not only broke my wipers, but also broke the light on the mirror that controls the delay of my outer lights. Me, being the nice guy i am, I told the manager don't worry about the light, just replace the wipers. No respect for the client or the vehicle. This place will loose my business and everyone i know business as well. read more

They were referred to me by my insurance agent. I had a chip in the wind-shield, if you take care of them right away, then your wind-shield doesn't crack. I called my insurance agent and he referred me to them and they came out to my home and repaired the chip. I was completely satisfied. I was thrilled. It was covered my my insurance, so I'm not sure of the cost. I made a call and if I remember correctly they were out the next day. It was wonderful. Very curious. He worked on the vehicle right there in my driveway. It didn't seem to take him anytime at all. His repair was so good, that I couldn't see the chip, where it was. It almost like disappeared. It was still there but it was no where near noticeable as the original chip, so I was very pleased with the results. They came out when they said they would. read more

On the door of this place there should be a sign: enter at your own risk. Aaron Auto Glass can repair broken windows and replace windshields (as I have had to visit 3 times due to life in the south side) but be aware if you encounter another problem during the process. I have never been treated so terribly than my experience here and for that reason will never, ever step foot in this place again! It really is ashame but thank the manager for that. After getting my windshield replaced the tape you are told to leave on for 24 hours ripped the paint off my car. Extremely upset with this (as there are no other missing chunks of white paint from my car) I called and was told to bring in my car for them to "look" at it. It's really a joke and quite horrendous at the way I was treated having to manage this whole ordeal! I was given the run around and was told by the manger we'll try to make it look better, give us 2-3 days. I was berated, yelled at and discriminated by the manager for a problem that I did not cause. I will not return here, as I am scared to do so and wouldn't trust them with the keys to my car ever again. Please see photos of damage. read more

FYI Beware it's a scam they inform you they have the windshield they take your car to the back and have you waiting in the waiting area as you sit there and wait they call you to the back and show you a crappy windshield and state that's all they have , but if you want they have a new one for $50 or more . read more

I went to Aaron's Glass for a windshield replacement. I called to get a quote and was surprised how reasonable the quote was because other shops were at least 2X as much so I was suspicious. I had a wonderful experience with Aaron on 6/4/15 and wanted to share. I called early morning to get a quote on a front windshield for my car. I was given a quote for a new and used and the prices were excellent for both as I also had called other places. I was getting car repairs done to my car which took quite awhile and by the time they finished it was 3:40 and I was all the way on the other side of town. Aaron closes at 5 so I called again to verify that the glass was still in stock and when I needed to get there by for service which was 4:30 p.m. I was rushing to get there and due to rush hour traffic, the expressway and street traffic was really bad. I got there at 4:40. Staff was friendly, understanding and still took care of my car. They had me inspect the glass to be replaced. NOTE: The only reason why I needed the glass replaced was because the holder on the glass to my rear view mirror was damaged so a whole new windshield needed replacing. The worker who showed me the glass took the time to even test my rear view mirror with the holder on the new glass to ensure it fit. I was really appreciative of that. They worked quickly and before I knew it, they were done. They made sure to give me tips on the do's and don'ts of securing the new glass for the first 24 hours. Also note that, I totally disagree with the person's picture that says that there are too many signs in the place. Those signs are VERY helpful to us as customers and I realize that Aaron has to have those signs up to prevent any type of liability. I'm sure customers might have complained about incidents in the past where information may not have been posted. This eliminates that. As a customer, I am appreciative of all the information to help ME. Thank you Aaron, this customer is one pleased person. A++!!! read more

I have now been here THREE times for the same problem and am going back again now for thr FOURTH time to fix the fact that my window keeps falling off the track. I do not recommend them at all. They did a quick job when I was there and got me going and it was great for a week and then the window becomes unaligned after a week each time I bring it back. They need to use better glue or something. Not to mention that on my THIRD time there, they made me wait 2 hours and did not move my car to the front of the line at all. When you mess up that much to someones car, you should make them the priority and also not rush through that either. It should be fixed with quality and Aaron cannot offer that. It's to the point where I am going to go somewhere else and have Aaron pick up the bill for it. It's getting extremely inconvenient. I just want my damn window fixed! read more

went in for broke rear window and walk out with a broken hinge to my back door, lookd like they forced it closed when we showed the teck the correct way to open it. was told they would replace the "moter" and it took all day to replace.. when in fact 6 different locations stated it was a 1 1/2 hour job tops.... very poor service, very poor employee service especially the management.. never will go back nor would I personally recommend this place . read more

I have had other companies to repairs to my windshields in the past. I have never been impressed...truth be told, I didn't even know how well a windshield could BE repaired until I went here. They fixed two large bullseye chips, one which was radiating cracks about the size of a 50 cent piece...I literally cannot determine exactly where the damage was! The turn around time was amazing..the price was amazing...the service was amazing... I will not be going anywhere else for my glass needs! read more

One of those long semis traveling on Kedzie knocked my driver-side rear-view mirror off last week, so I went to Aaron to ask about the adhesive that they used when I had a window replaced there a few years ago. The mirror was broken, but the housing was in good enough condition to reuse it. So it cost my $20 and 20 minutes to have them replace the mirror and attach it. I was elated because the car is old and not worth the $60+ a new side mirror would have cost. read more
