I had Ravioli with the cream sauce (my favorite, I've had it many times before) -- but it was more like paste than sauce and bland, except for the prosciutto that was tough and way too salty. Hubby had the Whiskey Halibut and said it was good but not great. One in our party had the Steak Delmonico and he said it was bland. When he asked for steak sauce the waitress asked what was wrong. He explained the steak was flavorless. A few minutes later, the owner appeared. She asked what she could do, and our friend said, "I can't put my finger on it." Obviously she misunderstood him, because she replied in a rather harsh tone with, "no, I don't want to put my finger on it. I want to make it right. What can I do?" our friend, replied that he was fine. He didn't make a fuss. It was crowded and noisy, so she can perhaps be excused for being so brusque. All in all, not a terrible dinner. But we probably won't be back anytime soon, and our friends who had never been before are not likely to visit again.

With a storm blowing in we were craving some clam chowder. Homegrown did satisfy that craving! Unfortunately, service was a little slow because there was only one waiter. Luckily, we were in no rush.
