Delicious food, huge portions and reasonably priced. I've only ever gotten delivery from here but every-time I have the entire family has been pleased. Highly recommend.

While the aesthetics are not Abby's claim to fame, the food is outstanding (5 star) and the service is stellar! DO NOT let the storefront location fool you, their food is simply phenomenal. I'm sorry it took us so long to realize we had such a gem right around the corner.

Amazing food with a family-feel environment. Absolute favorite Mediterranean spot in north Atlanta. Get the classic Gyro w/ a side of hummus 10/10 !

Ordered togo and got great service, packaging, and the worker was friendly. All workers I could see were wearing a mask as well. Solid 3.5 rounded up as our dishes ranked differently. Tried their beef Schwarma and chicken kabobs with 2 sides. Both came with hummus which was creamy and delicious. We tried their soup and fries for the side. Overall, we felt the food was on the milder side in terms of flavor. The flavors are there but not as strong as I am used to for these dishes. The beef was soft and paired well with the rice. The schwarma oil helped flavor the rice but for the chicken kabobs, they were a little on the dry side. The rice didn't taste seasoned to us but it was light well cooked. I could see myself trying this place again but I do think the flavor profiles lack a little umph. Presentation was beautiful even for to go and the prices were fair as portions ran big for $12 meals.

Abby's is a great family owned Mediterranean restaurant. I've been a few times and always get a Gyro. My husband and son went to lunch together and brought mine home. I had a Gyro with Babagonoush and pita triangles. The Gyro was delicious! My husband and son also enjoyed their lunch!

Abby's has indoor and outdoor seating but it's a popular spot for takeout. I ordered the chicken kabob with rice, falafel and hummus. I didn't have high expectations but I took one bite and Wow, burst of flavor in every bite! The food is very impressive. I will definitely be back.

What a great addition to Johns Creek. We always come to Bubba's Pet Emporium next door and checked out Abby's Mediterranean Grill for dinner since their now open. This husband and wife team are awesome. They are super friendly and hospitable. Really felt welcomed. We ordered a lamb gyro and chicken shawarma. Everything is well priced. Really enjoyed both the gyro and shawarma. Good flavor and generous portions. Appreciated that the gyro came with a good amount of tzatziki in it. Both came with a side. Liked how they had a pretty decent list of sides option. We ordered the beets and potato. I love beets. Also got the hummus and pita. The hummus was tasty. Get the pomegranate juice. It was refreshing and not overly sweet which I appreciated. We also tried their baklava and enjoyed it a lot. It was light and airy and just a right amount of sweetness. Definitely check them out. You can tell a lot of love goes in their food. Great value, made to order food, and friendly owners. What more can you ask for, right? I'm already thinking of my next visit back. They also serve some platter options and also have a kids menu. The kids menu seemed like a really good deal. Support local. Support small businesses. Support good food and good people.

So glad that I came across this place. The Beef Kabob is my go to over here. Food is consistent and always tastes great! Portion size is good for the price, and they have a good selection of sides. I recommend the beets and potatoes as a side!

    Mrinalini G.

Great freshly cooked food. The falafels are on point, they are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Not like the regular falafels you get at the fast food places. The grape leaves are yummy too. I'm really impressed by their food quality and the customer service. I will highly recommend this place.

There's no formal dress code, so some tables were fully dressed in fancy outfits celebrating birthdays. While other tables were in sweatshirts and jeans. So just wear whatever you want. The small appetizer plate they bring out is good, I ate the flat bread with a hummus I ordered. The hummus is solid but I'd probably try a different dip the next time. I ordered the Salmon kebab plate. I was asked how I wanted my salmon cooked, and I said well-done. But how they cooked it was amazing! The salmon was fully cooked but still flaky and tender, and juicy. I found it flavorful enough, but there is a salt and pepper grinder on the table if you need it. It comes with a roasted tomato and a huge mound of saffron rice. I liked the rice a lot but it is a bit plain. If you want a more flavorful or interesting rice, you can add a different rice for $4. Those extra charge ones come with a lot more toppings like different nuts, herbs, or dried fruits. I'd like to try more different dishes next time, but what I was very satisfied by what I ordered. The restaurant is very dimly lit. The server was very nice and attentive. It's in a strip mall area so parking isn't hard to find.

We visited around 3 PM on a Friday for a late lunch and were seated quickly. As a vegetarian, I was happy to see that they have plenty of options on the menu. We started with the yogurt dip with cucumber and the baba ghanoush, both of which were very tasty. For my main dish, I ordered the veggie kebabs, which come with saffron rice and grilled pineapple--my favorite part. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. They also offer lunch specials from 11 AM to 3 PM on certain weekdays, and we happened to arrive just in time to take advantage of that, which was a nice bonus. Parking was easy as well. As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(

Nevertheless, I think this menu would appeal to many different palates. This is a small restaurant chain tucked away in a busy strip mall, wedged between a Sally Beauty store and Kohl's. The menu offers Mediterranean street food, and nearly everything is served on or in warm pita bread, thus the name of the restaurant. Every Wednesday between 4-9, the restaurant offers a free kids meal with adult entree purchase. The restaurant is usually packed with families taking advantage of this deal on a regular weekly basis. The portions are hearty and there is both a sandwich and a platter option for most entrees. My standby order is a Traditional Gyro with a side of baba ghaboush. The baba ghanoush is neither smoky nor chunky with roasted eggplant, but it is smooth and tangy and beautifully garnished with olive oil, and parsley - three garnishes on a side dish served in a plastic basket is nearly unheard of! I'm not sure how authentic the meal is (probably not very), but our family is often in dire need of healthyish food and time to decompress and talk to one another, without breaking the budget, and this place totally delivers that. My husband likes the platter version of my dish, which comes with two sides. He prefers the quinoa tabbouli and the hummus. Our kids both enjoy the kids gyro sandwiches, and they are also allowed a side selection as well as a bottle of Fairlife milk. The restaurant is always impeccably clean and if you enter the rewards program, there are a few small perks offered (such as a free fountain drink) with multiple visits.
