When I saw the Coming Soon sign for a Mediterranean restaurant walking distance from my house, I was beside myself with excitement and anxiously awaited their opening. We were finally able to check out the restaurant this past Saturday. Simply put, their food was DELICIOUS!!! The gentleman who took our order was extremely helpful in guiding us in our choices of the best dishes to sample. We started off with appetizers - hummus, babagahnoush, falafel, grape leaves, fatoush, and Greek salad. Each appetizer was mouthwatering delicious. Seriously, try and not lick the entire plate of babagahnoush clean. Next came the entrees... We ordered a combo - kafta, chicken shawarma, and lamb chops to share. Once again, we were blown away by each of these entrees with how delectable each once was. Not only was everything scrumptious, the servings were quite large (including both rice and two sides). The service was absolutely top notch - polite, helpful, prompt and attentive. Walk if you can to Abby's Mediterranean Grill and you will most definitely not be disappointed. Got some take out for lunch before the holidays. The people were very nice. The food was ready at the time promised. At the time the place did look like it needed a facelift. Here's the problem, it is in the same plaza as El Trompo. This place just does not have the same level of flavor as El Trompo. They have very similar lunch plates, for example Protein rice and vegetable but Abbys is far less flavorful. It's hard to say I'll go back with El Trompo Right next-door with a better product. El Trompo Does get very busy though so if you are unable to wait maybe give this place a try. read more

This place is delicious and I don't think you can go wrong with an order. My favorites are the Lebanese shawarma wrap and the baba ganoush! The gyros are solid too. It's a small shop, so we have taken to ordering and then eating by the car during these pandemic times. We had a pick-up deal through GrubHub and we wanted to try a place that would be new to us. Abby's is brand new and we really want them to stick around. We both had Lebanese beef Shawarma platters. I ordered mine with sides of stuffed grape leaves and hummus. My counterpart had salad and fries (since they were out of the lentil soup). The beef in the platter was served on top of rice and there were small pieces of pita bread to accompany my hummus. The hummus was a perfect consistency for dipping.
