    A coupon ad

Went in to use this coupon but was told "We can't do it, only when the manager is here." I said "That doesn't make any sense, call them." Only to be told "It's his day off." What kind of place runs an ad and then doesn't honor it when customers come in to use it? Who's schedule is going to revolve around knowing when the manager is in??

    Authentic Chicken Shawarma

Shawarma Press is fast-ish food chain restaurant of casual Mediterranean food that focuses on shawarmas! There is an okay amount of seating and the vibes inside are very lax. I ordered at the self-service kiosk and my food came out quickly. I got the Authentic Chicken Shawarma which was really long and slim. However, it was packed with meat, pickles, and garlic sauce. I also added fries for an extra crunch. The entire meal was very filling and delicious. I really liked the pickles and garlic sauce, although I wish there was more garlic sauce in my shawarma. I think this is a solid spot for shawarmas, plus it was not that pricey which makes it a nice spot to grab something good without breaking the bank.

*Kids Meal Shawarma Melt/Small Fries/Small Drink

Small quaint sandwich shop with real shawarma style flair including the flame skewered meat rotating near the grill. I ordered the kids meal because itvwas getting later in the day and I did not want to have that heavy food feeling. I was glad I ordered the melted chicken shawarma press with fries and a drink for the kids meal because it was a generous portion and it left me satisfied. The chicken was sliced thin and the cheese and bread perfectly nestled together to create a wrap of yummy comfort. The fries were seasoned and hot. The service was fast and friendly. Must do again in the future!

6/24 beef shawarma platter - super salty

NO. This resto seems to be the first Atlanta metro location by this Texas chain. +. Ambiance is clean, small fast food set up. Order process is self order at 2 automated kiosks. When your food is ready, they call your name for a pick up. There are less than 10 2-4 seater tables. - - - Food is limited premade Mediterranean and warmed up breads ( tortillas & thick pitas). Their beef shawarma was super salty. Their pita was terrible off the shelf cardboard. I couldn't eat more than 20% of the bowl and tossed the rest. My friend too found their beef shawarma wraps excessively salty! Afterwards, I was nauseous for 2-3 hours :((. Perplexing is the Yelp rating. +. Price is reasonable $10-$20pp. But terrible that we paid money to receive mis-seasoned dishes and suffer after!! ++ Service was friendly and helpful. The staff warmed up a tortilla for me as I couldn't eat their pitas. +. Parking is shared with other merchants. Perhaps it was an off batch of beef shawarma. However, it's unforgivable that they didn't taste and quality check prior to serving to customers. I was so looking forward to finding a good Mediterranean resto, only to be completely disappointed. This is a one and done as I don't repeat restos that serve food that made me ill. MY RATINGS - - - Inhumane - - Disgusted - Don't bother = Missed the Mark + Good ++ Better +++ EDIBLE... WHERE have you been all my LiFe!

Mediterranean food place, decoration was nice, everything looks clean and sanitized, food was hot and good but we were expecting a real pita wrap instead is like a burrito tortilla, it's closer to mex style food, ingredients were fresh but not a real arabian flavor, service was friendly and professional. Experience was good in general.

I was in the mood for Mediterranean and decided to give this place a try! I have gone to the restaurant that used to be here before Shawarma press and it was good. I decided to go with the chicken over rice with a side of falafel and an order of the fries. For the chicken, I went with the garlic and tandoori sauces. The bowl came with plain rice and plenty of chicken, and combined with the sauces tasted very good. There is a hint of spice with the tandoori which added great flavor. The falafels were cooked to perfection and came with a side of the tahini sauce. The fries were also well seasoned! I ordered takeout and got my order within 5min. Overall a nice place with decent prices for Mediterranean food!

    Tandoori chicken wrap to-go
    Alex K.

Excited to see a shawarma place open here, so I tried it right away. I usually opt for a normal chicken but I saw the tandoori wrap and had to have it. It was delicious, but unfortunately way too salty as-is. There were tomatoes but very little. I remedied it by cutting up half a tomato and eating it tomato chunks, and that was able to balance it so I enjoyed the rest. It's hefty enough that you can make 2 meals out of it. Lettuce would have helped as well but I didn't have any. Need to take advantage of any vegetables they will add when they make it. I'll be back to try other items. The beer shawarma looks good with Tahini sauce.

I have been wanting to try this place since it opened and finally got the chance to. I called the place for an order and they only offer online ordering through their app or their website. It is in the John Creek common shopping center with parking out front. There is a touch screen inside for you to place your order as well. My order was ready in 10 mins and they packaged it really well. I ordered the tandoori chicken press and the hummus plate with 1/2 chicken and 1/2 beef. The hummus plate was packed! I like there's a divider for all the different components. The only thing is I wish the hummus is warmed up since it was cold. The chicken and beef are both delicious and flavorful. The tandoori chicken press was so good. It's saucey and I love the wrap pressed. I would visit and try other items next time. It was easy to place the order online and pick it up. There were plenty of room inside with sanitizer and everything is bright and clean.

    Ordering kiosk and menu

Wow! Seriously if you're looking for yummy-fresh Mediterranean food, look no further. Everything was fresh and delicious. The workers acknowledged us when we walked it. We chose to use the kiosk to order as someone was being helped at the register when we walked in. The kiosk was so easy to use however the menu gave a bit more information on what the items were made of. The place was a bit packed which had us anticipating that the food would be good. Everything was made to order except for the desserts (which was expected). The hummus and falafel were an explosion of fresh flavors. And the chicken wrap the chicken wrap is a must try-will definitely order again.

I love Mepditerranean food, and this place is the best really enjoyed the wrap a casher, Nicole recommended. Will come back soon

Food taste good even we visit here for late night snack Tried authentic beef wrap today, and will back for other menus

There's no formal dress code, so some tables were fully dressed in fancy outfits celebrating birthdays. While other tables were in sweatshirts and jeans. So just wear whatever you want. The small appetizer plate they bring out is good, I ate the flat bread with a hummus I ordered. The hummus is solid but I'd probably try a different dip the next time. I ordered the Salmon kebab plate. I was asked how I wanted my salmon cooked, and I said well-done. But how they cooked it was amazing! The salmon was fully cooked but still flaky and tender, and juicy. I found it flavorful enough, but there is a salt and pepper grinder on the table if you need it. It comes with a roasted tomato and a huge mound of saffron rice. I liked the rice a lot but it is a bit plain. If you want a more flavorful or interesting rice, you can add a different rice for $4. Those extra charge ones come with a lot more toppings like different nuts, herbs, or dried fruits. I'd like to try more different dishes next time, but what I was very satisfied by what I ordered. The restaurant is very dimly lit. The server was very nice and attentive. It's in a strip mall area so parking isn't hard to find.

We visited around 3 PM on a Friday for a late lunch and were seated quickly. As a vegetarian, I was happy to see that they have plenty of options on the menu. We started with the yogurt dip with cucumber and the baba ghanoush, both of which were very tasty. For my main dish, I ordered the veggie kebabs, which come with saffron rice and grilled pineapple--my favorite part. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. They also offer lunch specials from 11 AM to 3 PM on certain weekdays, and we happened to arrive just in time to take advantage of that, which was a nice bonus. Parking was easy as well. As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(
