Went there 3 times in one day to have a simple Amp installed !! Was given 2 times to return because they were busy. I get that. But when I get back the 3rd time , I'm asked to come back tomorrow??? Because it would take over and hour. Well they were open another 2 hrs to go ??? Lazy ? Poor front desk management!! Workers make less money !! And they lost a 4 time returning Customer!!! And to think I tipped them a few days prior for telling me it was my Amp instead of installing a new radio which I purchased from them. 3 days later & still no music. As soon as I got off work I knew I wanted to get a remote starter installed in my car this Day because of the impending cold weather coming. I did my research online in a very short time and i really was unable to make a decision on what company to go to. after work, I went to breakfast and a friend of mine did mention ABC automotive electronics but this one was further away from me, but then when I did a web search and it asked me if I wanted to share my location, It was one located right in Forest Park on Roosevelt Road close to my home. when I went there my experience walking in the door was that I was assisted right away and I didn't feel rushed or pushed into anything I didn't want. Horrible place I was there last week to try to get a remote start on my BMW, the guy quoted me $1,100 because it was BMW, I told him I had found a system that would work in the car "BMW" for $500 + the installation , he got extremely upset and told me he would charge me another $500 to install it, he said it in a way that felt like he was punishing me suggesting trying to save a little money on the system, I already have an appointment next week at Best Buy to have my remote start installed for $650 don't get ripped off by this guys, just because they see you have a nice car they think it's okay to overcharge... read more

My remote start (not installed by them) was no longer working, I called they said it was $45 to have it checked out. So I brought the car there, they called and said it was just the remote that was not working. And the remote was $59. So I thought great, it was just the remote and the were going to replace it. BUT when I got there to pick up the car, he charged me for the remote and to have it checked out. I didn't think it was fair to charge me for the having it checked out when it was only the remote. Ok, as far as a 'company being in business for 50+ years' doesn't mean everyone's experience is going to be perfect. I do understand mistakes happen but, on the other hand your techs should have double checked their work. I should not have had to come back several times before I was completely satisfied. I also did not receive a 'follow up'. It was fully functional after I had to make several trips back. What made me decide to change my mind and get it uninstalled was the part where your staff broke my steering column cover and did not tell me. This company did the window tints on my car. I have taken my car to them twice and it still was not done properly. The first time the windows tints had bubbling in it. I had my sounds hooked up in another shop to save some money but never sounded the way I thought they should have. Their knowledgeable techs quickly figured out wiring was not correct and enclosure for subs was not correct. They fixed everything and now I can't believe how good it sounds. I got a remote starter on my fiance's car and he loves it. I got a quote and a few days later I took it in to have them install it.. I wanted it to be a surprise before he got back from his trip and they made sure to finish it early for me, even though they were really busy. For a minute I thought I was having problems with it and so I took it back, they had NO problem looking at it and told me if there were any problems they would take care of it. I had my son's car for a couple of day's and had to get brakes, oil changes, etc. For over a year he said his remote starter wasn't working. My son did not mention to get his remote fixed, I wanted to surprise him. I called ABC and talked to Tony. He said bring it in and they will take a look at it. I drove to the back and the tech was so kind. I wish I got his name. He took my keys and showed me to the showroom. At the front Tony was so helpful. Tony said lets check out the battery, it was dead. He put new batteries in and it worked. Before I left they both made sure things were perfect. The service there was great!
