Tonight my parents and I ordered a salad, pizza , a glass of sangria and a half carafe of wine . We waited over 30 Minutes before inquiring about the salad . When our server brought the salad she remarked " Well your pizza would take awhile anyway." Our food was delicious overall. After the meal we waited while the staff swept, mopped and sat relaxed in neighboring booths. We finally got up and asked for our bill and we were verbally assaulted by our server and others . She accused us of having too much wine and asked if we wanted a "burgundy to go" . Highly insulting and totally unacceptable . The owner was sitting among his staff and never got up to diffuse the situation or take control. We will never eat at this establishment again . read more

This was great! We stopped into a local winery who recommended this place and I'm certainly glad they did. The pizza buffet is what entire party opted for this afternoon, they had serval options and made sure they had vegetarian options available, the pizzas came out quick and super hot, the crust was crispy and it had just the right about sauce and cheese. The salad bar a plentiful amount of options, pasta salads, potato salad, pepperoni, cheese, beets and so much more. They had a dessert pizza out that was like nothing I have had tried, it was a crust with a layer of like pudding and then a crunchy cinnamon sugar heaven. The place it's self certainly isn't fancy but the waitress was pleasant and attentive. For $10 for a drink and a very filling meal you really can't complain. read more

Stopped in one night on the way to Tallahassee. Restaurant smelt great and they had a menu with lots of selections. My friend got the calzone which was HUGE and I got a large Italian grinder. Both items were very good and well priced. The only knock that we had was that we were told the calzone would take "20 minutes"; however, it took about 45 minutes. Also, the restrooms were downright nasty the night we were there. But no doubt, the food was very good. read more

Pizza/salad bar lunch buffet is worth it and come just for that. Tasted other items on the menu (meatball sub, gyro, eggplant fries) and they were just okay. Eggplant fries were probably better than the two others. We come here only because there aren't too many options in town. read more

First time eating here. Very very happy I got my calzone Calzones my eyes pop because it was much bigger than I expected and just as good.

We took the advice of others on Yelp and stopped here on a late Sunday afternoon. We wanting pizza and just don't like the chain alternatives. This was the right decision. We split a salad; fresh greens, apples, raisins, candied pecans, tomatoes with a raspberry vinergaratte dressing. The server brought two plates and two dressings. This small salad was plenty for two. We ordered the Garden Pizza, but asked for Red sauce. The crust was perfect, light and crisp, and seasoned just right. The veggies were fresh and the cheese seemed fresh as well. Would not recommend. Restaurant is dark and dirty. Pizza nothing to come back for, as it was not flavorful and the pepperoni had an unusual taste. Order a cup of tea, which arrived with lipstick on it. Requested a new cup and it arrived with lipstick. Did not drink my tea and had it removed from the bill. read more

We really like this place (mostly take out), as we pass through Chiefland 3-4 times a month. The pizza is excellent and the Greek salad is a perfect Friday night pick up meal. Treat yourself: go ahead and order the potato salad with it, you won't regret it. The service is super friendly. This is our kind of old fashioned, casual place: fast, friendly service, leatherette booths, formica tables, tv's on the wall. Clean. It's always busy "enough"-- you can get a table without a wait but it is hopping. This is a family-friendly place, priced accordingly. We stayed at the Quality Inn on 01/27 - 01/28/17. This restaurant is next door to the hotel. The very friendly staff at Quality Inn recommended this place to us and they were right about this place. We ordered a small Pepperoni and Sausage pizza. The pizza was hot and so tasty. It reminded me of how pizza tasted years ago. The sauce is exceptional and the crust is a delight all by itself. The one thing that I would recommend is that if you are like me, order a little lighter cheese. This pizza had an abundance of cheese. Great food at very affordable rate. I think the pizza was only $7-$8. The small has six slices and it was more than enough for us. We liked it so much that we ordered a second pizza the next night. If you are in Chiefland, then give this place a try. read more

The place is usually very busy because the daily specials are so good. The spankipita is to die for. Pizza is always fresh. I believe the dough I s made daily. And the homemade sauces are great. They also have a lunch buffet for those short on time. The sandwiches are hot and juicy. I have eaten there for years and never was let down. The lasgana is great. Beer and wines are available along with soda tea and milk for the little ones. If you grt there on spaghetti night you may want Gale as your waitress, she is a pro and has been there for years. I'm a pretty easy going guy. Don't complain much. Food here was very inferior. Pizza and Italian Food in general are all about quality ingredients. Sauce was very watery and cheese was very poor in quality. What made it worse was the unsanitary conditions. Saw a roach in bathroom and another on wall near my food. I just left the food there. Stayed at the hotel next-door and they recommended because it was Wednesday night to try the spaghetti and meatballs and treat myself to a side Caesar salad. At 5 PM they were already busy, I placed my order they told me it would be a 40 minute wait it was only about 15 or 20. Very friendly staff they made sure I had everything I needed when I told him I would be staying in the hotel room to eat. Food was delicious, fresh, and wonderful housemaid breads. Historically this has been one of the highlights of visiting Chiefland. However today they really let the service drop. No greeting or acknowledging at the door so after 5 minutes of standing like a fool I asked if we could be seated. From that point everything went ok. A party member ordered a Spankey Bread appetizer, which he specifically asked to be served as an appetizer. Which gets us to a 30 minute wait until Spankey Bread comes to the table. It was great and disappeared quickly. However, two minutes later out comes the main entree. In a gist slow unfriendly service tonight. Food was pretty good, but personally will not be returning. read more
