We are not local but we spend a lot of time in Las Vegas. I really do not enjoy overspending on Mediocre food on the strip so we always try new places around town. The original place we wanted to dine at was closed so we decided to try this place after i saw an instagram ad about it. We used to like einsteins bagels but over the years it got mass produced and artificial so we stopped going. This is probably what einsteins used to be before it was a chain. Everything was fresh, the bagels were chewy and soft on the inside and had a nice crunch on the outside. We ordered the chicken salad, two egg and bacon breakfast bagels and a cinnamon toast bagel with cream cheese. I will say the chicken salad was a little over salted for my liking and i wish they put some sort of acid in it, like pickles, i also wasn't wild about the capers. But overall it was definitely a good sandwich. Breakfast sandwiches were perfect. We ended up taking some bagels back home with us and this will be a regular stop for us. Also, the service was absolutely phenomenal.. they're a busy place and they still took the time to explain the menu and check on us multiple times. I used to absolutely love Abel's. However over the years they've been open, it's gone downhill. The owner runs a tight ship and it's notable when he's working. When he's not, it's a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. The process for online pick up is horrid, often waiting 10-20 minutes past what they quote you online. It's hot as hell in there during the summer and there are just way too many bodies for the shops size. The two stars that remain are for the quality of the food -- as that hasn't changed. Wow! The hype is real. These bagels are definitely worth it. So back story: I came here one time a few months ago around 1pm and just to find out they ran out of bagels. I was such an unhappy camper since I was coming from Henderson. Service was terrible on top of it. So today I gave this place another chance since I keep hearing all this hype. So I got here today around 10:30am and it was super busy!! I ordered in line like the sign said because I honestly didn't want to wait in line. Put my online order on their ( FYI don't use DoorDash. You pay more) site. Boom! Just had to wait and not have to stand in line to order. Service was pretty quick this time. Didn't have to wait too long and they had plenty of staff to get things going! Not like before where everyone was standing around and didn't know what to do since they ran out of bagels. They improved their flow and were able to provide good service this time. Staff were friendly as well. I got half a dozen bagels, 1/4lb of chicken salad and egg salad, and a cheddar bagel with chicken salad. So the bagels were pretty reasonable for the price. Pretty big in size. The freshly toasted cheddar bagel with chicken salad had me falling in love! Omgoodness the crunchiness of the melted cheese and the softness of the bread. Wow! It wasn't heavy with the chicken salad. That was well seasoned and not creamy which I don't like. Chicken salad was pretty healthy! Everything tasted so well together! Thanks to a Yelp Elite event a few months ago for introducing me to Abel's Bagels. Since then, I've been back a handful of times. And each time, my bagel sandwich has been consistently delicious and made just right! So far, I've tried the chicken salad, sausage egg and cheese and a few create your own bagel...all on an everything bagel. Only thing is there's always a line and they take awhile to make your order. Best bagels I've ever had, and that's saying a lot because I've been to New York multiple times and tried plenty of bagels there. Abel's is just different. The outer layer has this perfect firm texture with a slight chew, while the inside stays soft and fluffy. It's the kind of balance that makes you stop mid-bite and actually appreciate bread, which is not something I expected to ever type in my life. My wife got the Katz bagel and I ordered the smoked salmon bagel. Both were incredible and packed with flavor without feeling heavy. You can really tell they care about the quality and freshness. My gold standard is a New York bagel. Abel's comes close. The best bagel I've had in town. I ordered a plain bagel toasted with no extras. A good bagel should stand on its own. THE BAGEL was perfect as far as texture goes. It had the a nice skin that gave way to a chewy dough that was light. So good! The flavor is better than any bagel I've had in town, but it lacked the depth of an authentic NY bagel. The rest of our party enjoyed their bagels. Ever in search of a better bagel I had high expectations when I entered the tiny shop. There are only a few tables and they are very coose to the line so I would say this is more likely a pick up angd go place. They do have fruit flavored water in a dispenser by the door which was a nice touch In a throwback to my days growing up in nj amd working in nyc, the restaurant counter is covered with signs announcing specials, menus, and other news. A small coffee station sits by the kitchen entrance. Now to the good stuff. Two large cases showcase their bagels. The varieties change daily per a sign. The bagels were very good though they were less firm than I like them. Ie if you squish them, they don't recover. I am not a chef, but i would describe them as too moist. First time, drove across town to try them. It's a very small and a very busy place. They have about 8 tables inside and a table outside. It's like a small city deli. The staff seem friendly which is cool for such a busy place. We tried breakfast and it was ok. Taste was good, quality was good, portion was my issue. The sausage patty covered half of the bagel, the other half had a sliver and was mainly egg and cheese with no meat. The bagel itself was a good tasting bagel. As you can see in the picture of the Ham bagel, the meat was on one side and not even across the bagel. So you end up with just egg and cheese. It was good but not a place I would drive across town for. If I'm on that side, I'll definitely give them another shot with maybe a lunch bagel. Again, the bagel itself, was good. I should have gotten some bagels to go, but next time. Prices are decent and like I said staff works hard. It's made fresh so after you order if it's crowded, you will wait about 5 minutes for your order but it's fresh so you can't complain. I'll go again to support them but I won't go out of my way, better quantity of meats can be found at other places so you are getting a full filled bagel not half of a bagel good and half??? Came in on a Saturday morning and it was jam-packed. The parking lot was full and people were flooding in, I remember when this spot was low key. Nonetheless, the line moved quickly and service was friendly. You can smell the fresh bagels from outside, which immediately gets you excited. The interior is small but has lots of little tables that allow for seating. One of my favorite things is their spreads and how you can take them to-go. I'm so glad Vegas has these type of bagel shops as I am a sucker for a good bagel. Ordered a bagel with cream cheese and strawberry jam, bagel with egg, cheese and bacon, bagel with egg, cheese and ham, and a side of cream cheese. They were all delicious! We used the side of cream cheese to add to our savory bagel sandwiches, so good! We arrived around 1230p, were greeted warmly despite a busy restaurant. When it was our turn to order, we were immediately told only cinnamon raisin bagels were available, which is honestly fine with me as I prefer a sweet bagel as a savory breakfast sandwich. However, after we ordered, only a few more people were able to get orders in as the shop had run out of bagels. Though I do expect these types of shops to sell out before closing, just means we need to come earlier to have more options. It's a fairly small shop, with a decent amount of tables for people to enjoy their food. Food does come out pretty quickly, which is nice. Staff is also very friendly, the woman who took our order kindly guided us through ordering. We were also thanked upon our departure, even though the staff was busy cleaning. Fresh bagels! Parking was tough on a Sunday and they were out of many options by noon but that would be expected for a good bagel shop. I ordered a breakfast bagel: french toast bagel, turkey, cranberry cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese. They forgot my lettuce and pickles. However, it was still yummy. My partner had a smoked salmon bagel with all the add-ins on a pumpernickel bagel. He gives it a 4/5. Bagel texture was solid, a little dense, but overall the sandwich was on the wet side. I would come back just for a regular bagel and cream cheese. My partner definitely wants to try the Katz. I recommend coming early if you want to have more options. For sure better than any other bagel I've had on the west coast, but not quite there to an east cost bagel. read more

Omgosh...Only my second visit but totally confirmed this is my favorite bagel shop in LV!!! I had the Katz LV.....Yall!!! The smoked Pastrami, from local BBQ spot on a pumpernickel bagel!!!! The bagels have a great texture and a lot of flavor (the everything bagel is what I tried). The store is mostly clean, there was a large puddle under the refrigerator by the coffee machine though. Their menu had quite a small font, and their specials are printed on paper that you can't read without going behind the counter. I got the turkey sandwich, which says it comes with some mayo or mustard, but it was completely dry, which was really disappointing. After tax, it was over $15 for one sandwich, which isnt worth it in my opinion. The staff were very kind and helpful. The price is likely what will keep me from going back - I understand things are pricey in Vegas, but that should only be on the strip. A bagel with some turkey and veggies is not worth $15. I was really excited to try this place and ordered their sourdough bagel breakfast sandwich to go. At first look, it was fantastic. When they cut it in half, it looked evenly distributed and appetizing. After eating the first half, everything seemed great. But once I got to the second half, I realized there was barely any egg, cheese, or bacon inside. It was surprising, especially since they were the ones who cut it and it looked evenly filled at first glance. I honestly felt a bit shorted. By far one of the best bagels spots I've been to ! The bagels were so moist, soft but also slightly crunchy on the outside, the cream cheese is creamy but also whipped style. I've driven by this place many times, but only recently stopped by since my friends were craving bagels. There was definitely a line, and I understand why! The bagels are delicious! I had a cinnamon raisin with egg, adding cheese, turkey and tomato. I appreciated the turkey was real turkey and not the deli meat you would get at a subway. We took our bagels to go as it's quite an intimate space for dining in, especially once the line got really long those waiting were encroaching upon those dining a bit. I can't eat here too often, my waistline won't permit it, but I cannot wait to come back and try the unique cream cheese spreads they offer.
