The food was excellent, absolutely top notch. I got a fabulous lox & bagel. My husband got a specialty NY sandwich. We both got good iced coffees. The service was great. The store was clean & charming. The two downsides - it was a bit warm in there (but, honestly, not that bad. We were fine sitting inside even on a hot day), and it was pricey. It was great food, but not something I can afford on a regular basis. Definitely recommend for the food, and if you can afford it - you'll love it! read more

The best bagels in Vegas. THIS IS IT. Small batches made around the clock...still warm without getting it toasted! They are everything you want...soft and chewy inside and they don't skimp on ingredients or flavor! The outside is golden and shiny. This bagel was really good I got a Cheddar Bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, bacon, eggs whites, and tomatoes. It was by far one of the best bagels I've ate and would have it again. The space is small but wasn't packed. Clients kept coming in to pick up their orders that they had placed, so it's was pretty busy in that way. Abel's Bagels keep doughing your thing maybe adding a jalapeño cheddar bagel it's one of my favorite bagels to eat lol. read more

Looking for a great tasting bagel shop with a variety of bagels to choose from. This place really delivers offering fresh bagels at a reasonable price. I ordered a blueberry bagel with vegan cream cheese. The cream cheese was literally oozing out all sides of the bagel making for a delicious mess. I've been to a few bagel shops but never had a bagel packed with this much cream cheese, it was a welcomed surprise. The bagel itself was very flavorful, great tasting and lightly toasted just how I like it. Although, they were very busy, my wait time was less than 10 minutes. There is indoor and outside seating. Yum Yum Yum Good Bagels and great service ! Abel's Bagels are located over by Durango Casino and right off the freeway ! The ambiance is very pleasant with a rustic feel. There is not much seating inside and only one table outside. The wait for food was a long wait about a half hour but it was worth the wait! Bagels are soft on the inside and have that crunch on the inside. Breakfast bagel was so good. Cooked to perfection! Definitely a great place to go to every Sunday Morning. By far one of the best bagels spots I've been to ! The bagels were so moist, soft but also slightly crunchy on the outside, the cream cheese is creamy but also whipped style. A little on the pricey side but for the quality its reasonable. The service was great ! Chris came out to check on us and asked how we liked our experience, he brought some bacon for our doggie. I wanted to like this spot given the great reviews here on Yelp. I showed up on a busy Saturday morning where parking was extremely packed and the restaurant was busy. There were lots of breakfast and customizable options which I appreciated. However, the ordering process seemed rushed with no organized line and the cashier seemed annoyed when I asked for recommendations and when I asked what I was able to customize. In the end, I was given no insight on what were top favorites, and ended up ordering a classic sausage egg bagel with cayenne cream cheese, and a coffee. The size of the bagel was unfortunately underwhelming and small. The sausage patty was thin and the one egg piece was also small. I wasn't super impressed by the flavor and walked away still hungry. It just tasted like empty calories. I'm not sure if I'll be back, but definitely not for the classic bagel. Maybe I needed to order something else, but it would help to go into it knowing the menu more thoroughly. read more

Nice little.shop on Durango feels welcoming and almost a throwback to some of the places I remember as a kid in Brooklyn. Staff is great very friendly and helpful. I've been in a few times to try them out. Sandwiches and spreads are well flavored and priced well. I hate to say this but the one thing that stopped this being a 5 star was actually the bagels. I'm going to preface this by saying I am definitely an old school Brooklyn bagel snob. The bagels are.not bad but hey are not great. The crust has very little chew and they feel a bit under baked to me. No blistering on the crust and kind of pale. Maybe being baked at a lower temp than I'm used to or not long enough. As I said I grew up in n Brooklyn NY and I am super critical about bagels. This will not keep me from going back because as I said they are good and the staff is great. read more

Walked in and there was a line but moved pretty good. I've never been here and heard good things about the one in NY. This is the closest I can get to try the one in NY. So much to choose from but I tried the cold brew and added pistachio. Walked away with what I call lox bagel and egg bagel with chorizo. The family loved it. It was loaded! What a great and cozy little bagel space! It gives me NYC bodega vibes. I got a bacon egg and cheese with extra bacon and the option to switch cheeses so I chose pepper jack on a super garlicky bagel. Personally I felt like even though it had extra bacon, it was quite thin for a breakfast bagel, if you're used to packed breakfast sandwiches. My partner ordered the lox salmon bagel with a grilled onion bagel and wow, that one was phenomenal. Lots of choices here for drinks like smoothies, a refill coffee bar, lattes, etc. I saw they also make açaí bowls! I'd definitely come back to try their pastrami sandwich and maybe try out one of their yummy cream cheese spreads like matcha! read more

The everything bagel was toasted to perfection and was loaded with egg, jalapeño cream cheese, pepper jack, bacon, ham, and sausage. It was literally perfect. The coffee was wonderful, and they had all the choices of milk which I love. The create your own cream cheese menu is a super cool extra!! Love the decor! Very cute place, on the trendy side. I love the rustic/ wood vibes. I hqve the breakfast bagels and an Aloha smoothie. Both were made fresh and are delicious! It was very good. Staff were very helpful and nice. They do close at 2pm I wish they stayed open an hour or two later. They are located in a good spot, with lots of things around, including the Darango casino less then a block away. It was clean and so was the bathroom but it is in a tight spot behind storage. This is what I would think of a Bagel shop to be, busy! Smells great as soon as you walk in, and the employees in there are just "working it"! Tiny store with no A/C running in the middle of summer is brutal. I moved in across the street from this place & came before going into work. They were fairly busy and it took a while to get my bagel. I asked for it toasted and feel like it wasn't run through the toaster for more than 5 seconds. Zero color, zero crunch. An absolutely outstanding shop if you want a little bit of New York in Las Vegas. Might want to take advantage of ordering online as this place does get busy! The phone app helps with that! OK bagel spot near the Durango Hotel/Casino. Full array of the usual bagel shop offerings. Bagels are NY style water bagels. Service is quick, friendly. There are a couple of tables inside plus a picnic bench outside. This place does a brisk to-go business. Bagels are not quite as big as I'd expect. Just tried to grab food here for the first time in a while, stood at the counter waiting to order for legitimately over 10 minutes while the employees were all rushing to get take out orders ready. I don't know if they thought I'd already been helped, but standing at the register, seeking eye contact with every employee would've been severely mentally ill behavior if that were the case. As I was finally about to say something, another customer walks in and they immediately greet him and take his order, despite the fact that I was standing right next to the register. Bagels were good when I went there in the past but, as a longtime restaurant employee, I've genuinely never seen a customer get ignored for that long. read more

Was blown away by this bagel place! One of the sweet marketing genius's explained the history of the bagel shop and let us try their seasonal pumpkin pie flavor of cream cheese. It was great to hear where they source their ingredients. They were fast, DELICIOUS, and the ambiance was so cute. I got a bacon,egg and scallion cream cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel had the perfect chew, and would definitely order it again! I also got cold brew with pistachios syrup, and it was tasty. The cold brew was very strong! And they had free, oat milk and almond milk to add-ons. So that was a plus! I can't wait to come back here Next time. I'm in Vegas! read more

Get here early -- that line out the door isn't a coincidence, it's a warning that Abel's Bagels is the real deal. Once you take a bite, you'll understand why everyone's willing to wait. This place brings that authentic New York bagel experience straight to the Vegas desert Whether you go classic with cream cheese or pile it high with lox, every bite tastes like something you'd get off a Manhattan street corner (minus the taxi horns). I don't know but it was annoying to wait behind in line. Imagine my surprise when they were finally done, they got out of line and went behind the counter. These two girls were *employees* holding up the line to make content during the morning rush. Whatever, that was just mildly irritating. When I finally got up to the cashier, I asked for 4 bagels and a tub of cream cheese to go. He rings me in for half a dozen bagels. $9. He tells me to pick out two more bagels because "it's cheaper that way". I ask him how much 4 bagels costs. He tells me $8. I don't want to assume the cashier is a) really that bad at math, b) that bad at communication, or c) trying to pull a fast one. Regardless, this entire experience soured my mood. These guys do have good bagels, but I really wish they would spend a little more time working with their team on professionalism. After today, I am asking myself why I keep coming back.

Had someone simply said, "We'll be right with you," I would have understood and waited. Instead, we were left standing there without any acknowledgment. I finally asked, "Can we place our order, please?" and was told, "Just a minute." At that point, I decided to leave. I can't speak to anyone's intentions. I can only tell you what I experienced. I left feeling unwelcome. As a first-time customer, I did not feel that my business was valued or that my money was wanted there. Whether that was intentional or not, that was the impression I left with, and since this was my first visit, it was also my only impression of The Bagel Cafe.

Trust me when I say it was pretty and very stacked. He got a breakfast sandwich and he said the maple bacon bagel was something like a cross between a bagel and a donut. He liked it. He said it was strange and different, and that whoever came up with these was really imaginative. I have to agree. The star for me was still that pepper jack and egg on rye with those yummy caraway seeds. Absolutely simple and a show stopper. When I tell him no, you can't take it I'm still using it which he should be able to see, he laughs and walks off. I don't appreciate being rushed while I'm eating. He should ask and confirm a response before he ever touches a plate on the table. He needs to be coached on that. Overall, they really need to improve the customer experience. The sad part is I tipped when I ordered (that's how their restaurant is set up) and I'm not happy that I tipped well and then witnessed poor treatment to a guest next to us and was also treated poorly by staff. Went out of our way to leave the strip since this place has such good reviews but it was a disappointing breakfast for us for sure.

I am extremely disappointed with the service my family and I received at Abel's Bagels this past Sunday. We arrived about an hour before closing and were completely ignored from the moment we walked in. Not a single greeting, no eye contact just cold stares. I stood at the register directly in front of the manager, and she didn't so much as acknowledge me. When I asked if I could place an order, she dismissively said "one minute" without even looking up. That kind of behavior is unacceptable for anyone in a customer-facing role, let alone a manager. When we finally received our order, I immediately noticed the bagels were not toasted as I had clearly requested. Even worse, the employee who took my food back had been cleaning and handling dirty items, and then touched my bagels with the same filthy gloves. That is a blatant violation of basic food safety standards. When I calmly pointed out the issue, the staff in the back rather than correcting the mistake professionally mocked me and laughed. This was done in front of my husband and my young daughter. It was not only unprofessional, it was rude, childish, and deeply disrespectful. (The manger did give me my refund though). This establishment clearly lacks basic training in hospitality, hygiene, and human decency. I will not return, and I strongly advise others to reconsider before spending their money at a place that treats customers with such disregard. Originally from the northeast so I'm familiar with the bagel game, heard Abel's had what I was used to. Right when I walked in the smell reminded me of the best shops back home. Didn't catch the guys name at the register but very nice, I was also greeted right when I walked in by someone cleaning a table, great start. We talked about how the owner moved here from NY and wanted to bring an authentic bagel to Vegas. I just ordered plain bagel plain cream cheese to really get an idea of things, I'll get more adventurous next time. Bagel was on point, crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Cream cheese had a nice and light but solid flavor. Marty who was cleaning tables stopped to have a conversation about back home and some other details about each other, super nice guy and made the experience that much better. Luckily I could walk here from home in 10-15 minutes so I don't need to bother looking for another bagel shop. Would definitely recommend Abel's bagels and I look forward to coming back. read more

I stopped by Abel's Bagels around 11AM and the line was already out the door -- always a good sign! And wow, it did not disappoint. I honestly don't think I've ever had a bagel this good before. This was our first time trying Abel's Bagels, and it certainly won't be the last! The cozy ambiance welcomes you in right as you walk through the door, and you get the chance to see the food being made right in front of you. We each ordered bagel breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese and bacon, and they were both prepared with fresh ingredients and bagels that you could tell were just made. They were beyond delicious. Stopped by here today for the first time and I will definitely be back! I wish I took pictures of the sandwiches we got but they were so good I couldn't stop myself from eating it all before a picture lol.
