Initially, they promised everything we wanted to hear and even lied directly to our faces just to secure the sale. We had them install an entire solar system for our house, but a few years later, we discovered that we were misled about key aspects of the installation. Despite these issues, we attempted to work with them again to move the system to our new property. However, we were met with nothing but silence and delays, despite multiple empty promises from their manager. Their business practices are very shady, and we feel cheated. We will be sharing our experience with everyone we know and will be reporting them to the necessary authorities in Colorado, armed with video proof of their salesman's claims during the sale. Please consider this review seriously when looking for solar solutions.

Jason has been my main guy, and he was so responsive, and easy to work with. They came and fix every single issue that I had. 2 years ago we had a huge hail, but none of the solar panels were damaged. But we had to claim insurance and take the panels off and put them back on. Suntalk has been easy to work with, and they rewire everything, even put better insulations on the wirings. I had pigeons trying to make nests under the panels, and they put nets and guards around. Yesterday, I just realized that my SolarEdge data was not updating since March 3rd. Called Jason, and he told me how to reset the communication module, and everything is good now. They cleaned my system, gave me some instructions to get my unit working well, and told me to call if it was having issues. I texted them later for a little help, which they willingly gave. After that my system has been running normally. They aren't the cheapest option, but they seem to be in the right ballpark for the services offered. I plan to use them again in the future.

Jeff Elder, the owner, told me that day that he would get the inspection scheduled within the next few days. As of today, February 17, 2026, the inspection has not been scheduled. I've contacted Jeff via text and email messages numerous times since then. He has told me almost every time that getting the inspection scheduled was his priority. When I have asked him if the permit was pulled, the conversation stops. I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. This company has a C+ rating with them and so they are not accredited. If you are considering getting a new HVAC system and are considering using Best CO HVAC, I would suggest only paying half of the invoice until you know the permit has been pulled and the system has passed inspection.

Mountain View Solar is literally 2 miles from my house and never returned multiple calls. Same for CO Roofing and Solar. My original installer Rocky Mountain Solar and Wind will install, but Lotus the owner does everything in his power to avoid any kind of post install support. This would have been a multi-thousand dollar job on the water heater alone and had numerous other jobs that I wanted to speak with him about. When the appointment time came and went with no one showing, I had to reach out to see what was up. I was told that he was on another job in the mountains unexpectedly and didn't have cell service (an excuse he had already used before on a previous call we had). He then said he could be at my place in a hour...which turned into 2. I either wasn't on the books and he totally forgot about our appointment, or he is a one man show and there was no one else to give me a courtesy call. I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere.

They explained our options & answered all of our questions. That included pricing options. They were lower than we expected. Once we weighed the options & made a decision, the new unit was quickly installed. I'm guessing that was about 5 years ago & we haven't gone a day without it since. Over the years, we've called KCA for various reasons. The contractor we hired to finish our basement destroyed our air purifier. Working with the basement contractor was a nightmare, so we gave up and called KCA. They were understanding and guided us in the right direction. They didn't try to up-sale us. They did the same thing as before. Educated us to where we were able to make an informed decision. The new unit has been great. It's in the basement, but when I'm down there and hear an electric snap, it feels good. Along with the air purifier, we decided to cross another item off of bucket list. A whole house humidifier. Installing it required moving the water heater & possibly the main furnace. They did a better job than the builder. We've lived in our house for around 16 years. 1st owners. We visited in while under construction. Small things are creeping up, The fan in our furnace went out over the past weekend. A call to KCA and we were back in business in no time. In fact, the responding fixer/installer was the same guy that repaired our air purifier and installed our whole house humidifier. That had to have been at least 3 years ago. Seeing a familiar face, knowing that he does excellent work, along with knowing that KCA takes care of their employees to the point of retaining a highly skilled staff confirms that we picked the right random number so many years ago.
