Divorce, buying and selling a home, moving three times, legal issues and a job change were all weathered with her support. And I'm a better person for it! Offering a buffet of healing tools, Lauloa utilized a unique set of techniques to support us. I resolved court issues with my ex, doubled my salary and found peace, releasing the anger, pain and sadness from the unexpected and difficult end to my marriage. Lauloa created a safe place to talk about all of these issues and welcomed me with loving acceptance. My daughter loved the breathing and visualization exercises and we enjoyed attending together. Lauloa is someone you can build trust with quickly to talk openly and honestly about your issues and to provide helpful techniques to continue progress between visits. I highly recommend Lauloa. My daughter has bad reflux and difficulties taking the bottle which was really stressful for me. Prior to the appt Jennifer called me to do an intake to discuss my daughter's case and answered all my questions. She made me feel comfortable and confident about working with her from the start. When we met her in person, she was very warm and friendly. During her physical exam and assessment she noticed things that other providers did not. It is very clear to me that she is passionate about her job and cares about her patients and their families. The appointments never felt rushed and she frequently gave us extra time. I really appreciated her upbeat attitude and empathetic nature. My experience with her was night and day compared to my experience seeing the pediatric occupational therapist at Kaiser who did not help me nor my baby at all. My baby did end up getting better and the process of feeding became less stressful. Unfortunately we lost insurance coverage and couldn't continue with her. When that happened she called me to check-in, answered my questions, sent me detailed pamphlets about starting solids and said that I could always reach out to her if I had questions even though I was discharged from her clinic. I am very grateful for her care and guidance and highly recommend her. If my baby has difficulty with solids I will plan to return to her even if insurance doesn't cover it.

There are a few things that I wish I had known from the beginning, so I thought it might be helpful to share them with other families who are interested in the center: -at this point, fall of 2019, it doesn't seem that there is anyone else working at the center-some reviews mentioned a team of people, so I'm guessing that might have been in years past -because of Mary's delicate immune system, she requested that we cancel sessions if anyone in our family had any signs of illness, such as a runny nose. With my family, this was problematic, as I have a younger son too and work with children in my own work, so we ended up missing quite a few sessions even in the first month -communication about scheduling, superbills, etc can be challenging. Overall, I wish that these issues had not cropped up, as I definitely had the feeling that Mary has a lot to offer her clients and she also can be supportive of parents as well, with parenting tips if they are wanted.

During the entire two week period, Mary was very caring and courteous to our daughter. Apart from the training, helped my daughter get over the fears with a very practical approach making her clean using a silent vacuum cleaner etc. She has given us practical tips of how to eliminate the fear by gradually exposing to attenuated sounds and increasing the intensity etc. the highlight of the entire Training process was the care with which Ms Mary approached and made my child feel comfortable

The endless research, appointments, teacher conferences, and constant questions about how to best support your child and help them reach their full potential. I've sat through countless meetings where I was told my child was too wiggly, too silly, or not meeting expectations. I've experienced the heartbreak of camps, sports, and social situations that didn't always work out as planned. My son, Ben, has always been a foot taller than his peers, and as many parents of taller children know, people often expect maturity that doesn't necessarily match their age or developmental stage. One of Ben's biggest struggles has been tunnel vision, Executive functioning skills, and maturity. Today marks a huge milestone: Ben has officially graduated from Occupational Therapy. This accomplishment didn't happen overnight. It took years of hard work, patience, consistency, and guidance. Mrs. Alex and Mrs. Hannah have been instrumental in helping Ben develop the skills, confidence, and self-awareness he needed to grow into the amazing young man he is becoming. They met him where he was, celebrated his strengths, and gave him the tools to succeed in a way that worked for him. I would also like to thank April in the back office. From scheduling appointments to helping our family navigate the logistics over the years, she was always kind, welcoming, and supportive. The little things matter, and her warmth and care helped make every visit a positive experience. Watching Ben grow and mature has been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I truly couldn't have done it without this incredible team. Their dedication, compassion, expertise, and belief in my son made all the difference. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Mrs. Alex, Mrs. Hannah, and April. You have all played an important role in Ben's journey, and our family will be forever grateful.

We had other family members who had come to Sensory Solutions for very different sensory challenges, and they highly recommended that we speak with Teri, the Director. I was overwhelmed by all of the unknowns we faced as parents with the clear challenges our son had -- daily life was challenging as he seemed to crumble with every new experience, every unexpected sound or touch, every surprise. We went through an evaluation with an OT (Kirsi) at Sensory Solutions, and she was able to quickly discern the underlying struggles behind the constant meltdowns we were experiencing. Having a name for these challenges and understanding of what was happening made all the difference for us. We have now been doing weekly OT for almost 18 months, and our son is in a much better place (and so are we). While he continues to be highly sensitive on most fronts, we have tools to navigate his sensitivities and help him through hard moments. We are so grateful to have had the expertise and care of Kirsi and the Sensory Solutions team. Our son has developed a strong bond with his OT and enjoys his appointments -- they're so fun he doesn't realize he's in therapy. We have wanted to steer clear of any therapeutic approaches that would make him feel like something is wrong with him because we know his challenges come alongside particular gifts, and the care we have experienced at Sensory Solutions has been perfect for this. Kirsi's focus on building his confidence and resilience has helped him tremendously, and we see the difference in him at home, at school, with family, everywhere.

Her caring, well-balanced approach to therapy was exactly what I needed. Be patient with their office, they're very busy. It may take a few weeks to get the appointment, but it's absolutely worth it. While I hope to not need therapy again, I'd definitely come back here and wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you, Jamie! Thank you, Hands On Care!

The best you can hope for is over the Facetime video conversation with the doctor that is miles away from you (but he is pretty good). He will not be treating you and you will get treated by assistants - all the assistants that were worth anything already left. So you will get left overs - their billing is horrible. Read other reviews. They will bill you from different offices; will bill your insurance incorrectly; you will end up with charges that you are not "really yours". Read other reviews for confirmation. I suspect that the owner is running some kind of medical fraud but is not for me to investigate. In short, just don't go there. Find yourself a normal office. This office is not it. The front desk people are nice - hi Evelyn.

Not the Best Experience…read more I understand many businesses are often busy and understaffed, but that should never affect basic patient/customer courtesy and providing decent service. Pros: - Organized - Good upbeat music - Comfortable room temperature - Nice small play area for small kids - Sessions ends w/15 min ice or heat therapy rest Cons: - Highly internally social front desk area, neglectful to patients - No proactive follow-up regarding VM messages & call backs - Sometimes smells stuffy and sweaty with everyone The front desk area often feels like a social gathering, frat-party among the staff, leaving paying customers feeling like an afterthought. Communication and follow-up was disappointing. I left multiple VM messages and spoke with staff over the phone regarding important time-sensitive medical records I needed. Out of about seven attempts, I received only two callbacks, one a couple of days later, and the other several days later. In most cases, I had to repeatedly follow up myself and repeat the detailed messages I left. Suggestions for Management: - Hold the front desk and all staff accountable to provide welcoming and professional service to all patients/customers. - Set clear expectations for prompt follow-through service. - Maybe incentivize good behavior from your staff with Starbucks gift cards or something. - Make sure you have a trusted Office Manager to keep everyone on point. The clinic could benefit from a few simple additions, like a few plants, framed health tips, encouraging quotes or posters, updated magazines in the lobby area, and maybe an essential oil diffuser to keep the workout area smelling fresh and pleasant, especially considering how busy it gets. The QR codes and flyers that are displayed on the walls that encourage us to post reviews would look more professional if they were placed in simple frames, and the QR codes were placed in an easy-to-scan, non-high-traffic walkway area. Overall: Healthcare is about more than treatments and exercises. Studies show that positive interactions, genuine kindness, and feeling acknowledged can improve a patient's emotional well-being and overall healing experience. Something as simple as a smile, warm greeting, or thoughtful gesture, and a pleasant smell can truly make a meaningful difference to someone's mood and nervous system. This clinic has potential, but the overall patient experience needs a massive overhaul. The positive qualities, unfortunately, are overshadowed by poor and careless communication from the front desk area and some of the other PT staff on the floor. Sometimes it feels like no matter who I talk to there, I just feel like another number.
