I wanted to be sure that I was doing the correct workouts, using my legs/knees correctly, and just getting advice. Decided to come into R3 and was met with kindness and care. Physical therapy is not cheap, and I'm really glad that the staff did not seem super pushy or sales-y. They even have a satisfaction guaranteed policy or your $ back which made me feel comfortable getting one of their package. Dr. Des is the one who has been giving me care and it has been great so far. She listens to all my needs/concerns and works with me and my body to remedy the issues going on. It's obvious that she is knowledgable and confident in her education which really shows as she's explaining the stretches and exercises we do throughout our appointments. Lastly, the facility is clean and modern which is a huge plus to me- I have seen the equipment being wiped down between sessions. The overall profession in the facility and staff along with the service the doctor brings, makes me happy about my decision to chose R3 for PT .

I came across R3 through an ad, and I'm so glad I did! Dr Dustin was very thorough in diagnosing where my pain was coming from and took the time to understand my concerns and create a treatment plan tailored to me. My pain has significantly improved, and I'm feeling so much better I also love the app they use as it has the recorded exercises that's assigned for me to do between sessions. The instructions are easy to follow and make it much easier to stay consistent. Joint glides and cupping done at the start of each session is something I had never experienced in physical therapy before but I feel this has helped tremendously with minimizing my pain before doing the exercises each session I'm very grateful for the care and support I've received at R3 and would highly recommend Dr Dustin to anyone dealing with chronic pain! Also just wanted to note all the staff here is extremely nice! Front desk is always so friendly. Highly recommend

This is a *really* bad physical therapy place. The front desk are awesome and deserve praise, they…read moreare definitely the best part of the team. I have actually worked as a physical therapy aide and started physical therapy school, unfortunately didn't finish, but I have a very strong jdea of how physical therapy should be and this place is *bad*. Serving low income patients is tough which is why each patient gets almost no attention and. They're probably doing the best they can, but let me tell you this - I lost my print out of exercises and said they couldn't print me a new one, it was not possible to recreate it. I've worked in 4 clinics and my job often involved storing those and printing those for patients, that's like a doctor telling you you can't see the notes from your previous visit and since exercises are a literal prescription it's very weird. I didn't really get a diagnosis whatsoever, I have literally only continuted going so I'm "compliant" while my doctor tries to find me another clinic. There has been no instruction on exercises but I knew how to do most of them anyways. Unfortunately I don't know if what's going on with my groin will have long term reprecussions. It *is* getting better hence one star but I think that's mostly just time. One of the first things I learned at pt school was that people will naturally heal but your job is to speed up and improve their healing process, and to be able to use assessments to give them an accurate estimate of healing time. I asked them for healing time and they said we don't know. I asked them what's wrong and they said probably strain. I know enough that I think I may have a weird gait, and a weird gait could cause long term issues. It feels like my option is to try to see if someone in my social network can help, pay a cash pay pt out of pocket, or wait until I get better insurance to get good care. If any medical professionals went here (which they won't bc they serve low income) I think they would get scathing reviews. I know they're doing their best and at least Melissa the aide is super nice, but the actual quality of care is *very* bad.

This place is dangerous. This isn't a review so much as a…read morewarning that this place should not be in business. My PA referred me to this place for physical therapy but they should not be considered physical therapists. To keep it brief: 1-I have chronic back problems. Almost every time I visited this place the PT looked at their chart and asked me: "How's your shoulder?" I have to correct them each time and they don't change their regimen whether or not the "shoulder" comes up. 2- The assistant to the physical therapist took me in the first time and told me: "do x,y,z exercises". I said "What are those?" She said "They're these." and pointed to a diagram on the wall. After watching me begin she left to take care of another patient. They have never gone through an exercise with me and they have never made sure that I'm doing it in a way that is safe or healthy for my condition. 3- I asked one PT for a more in depth approach and asked what I should do at home. He told me: "Oh, you can just look up exercises on YouTube if you want anything more." These people should be investigated and have their licenses revoked. Someone is going to get seriously injured from their "Care".

The next thing I know, they returned my call but I was busy at work so did not pick up. They ended up cancel both my Wednesday and Friday appointment because "I did not respond their call within one hour." Not the Best Experience…read more I understand many businesses are often busy and understaffed, but that should never affect basic patient/customer courtesy and providing decent service. Pros: - Organized - Good upbeat music - Comfortable room temperature - Nice small play area for small kids - Sessions ends w/15 min ice or heat therapy rest Cons: - Highly internally social front desk area, neglectful to patients - No proactive follow-up regarding VM messages & call backs - Sometimes smells stuffy and sweaty with everyone The front desk area often feels like a social gathering, frat-party among the staff, leaving paying customers feeling like an afterthought. Communication and follow-up was disappointing. I left multiple VM messages and spoke with staff over the phone regarding important time-sensitive medical records I needed. Out of about seven attempts, I received only two callbacks, one a couple of days later, and the other several days later. In most cases, I had to repeatedly follow up myself and repeat the detailed messages I left. Suggestions for Management: - Hold the front desk and all staff accountable to provide welcoming and professional service to all patients/customers. - Set clear expectations for prompt follow-through service. - Maybe incentivize good behavior from your staff with Starbucks gift cards or something. - Make sure you have a trusted Office Manager to keep everyone on point. The clinic could benefit from a few simple additions, like a few plants, framed health tips, encouraging quotes or posters, updated magazines in the lobby area, and maybe an essential oil diffuser to keep the workout area smelling fresh and pleasant, especially considering how busy it gets. The QR codes and flyers that are displayed on the walls that encourage us to post reviews would look more professional if they were placed in simple frames, and the QR codes were placed in an easy-to-scan, non-high-traffic walkway area. Overall: Healthcare is about more than treatments and exercises. Studies show that positive interactions, genuine kindness, and feeling acknowledged can improve a patient's emotional well-being and overall healing experience. Something as simple as a smile, warm greeting, or thoughtful gesture, and a pleasant smell can truly make a meaningful difference to someone's mood and nervous system. This clinic has potential, but the overall patient experience needs a massive overhaul. The positive qualities, unfortunately, are overshadowed by poor and careless communication from the front desk area and some of the other PT staff on the floor. Sometimes it feels like no matter who I talk to there, I just feel like another number.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE that I interacted with was so kind. My mother was treated with dignity and respect by all the staff assigned to her case. I visited my mother every day and witnessed a wonderful team effort-Nurses, CNAs, LVNs, OTs, PTs, case managers, kitchen and custodial staff-everybody that I interacted with were helpful, patient, and did their jobs with a smile. Even staff not assigned to my mother's case would pop into her room and check on her. The Director of Admissions spoke with me several times and each time I felt confident that my mother was in the right place. I cannot state enough how happy I am with the care that my mother received, the expertise with which it was given, and the wonderful attitudes displayed by everyone. The facility itself is quite clean, and there is ample parking provided you visit after 3:30 (when staff start departing). There is a large physical therapy room that is fully staffed and equipped. Residents have the opportunity to participate in daily group activities (which my mother did). Dietary requests are also given consideration. Communication between the staff and me was excellent. I was kept informed more than adequately. When it came to discharge my mom I was so relieved that many after treatment details-prescriptions, follow up appointment, arranging of home health care-were handled for me. My mother is very happy with how she was treated by everyone here and I am so glad that Canyon Springs was our choice.
