The water therapy is super amazing. Hillary's technique, her touch, her feel as she floats and manipulates my body around while floating around in the pool,is simply amazing. I have had two hip transplants on the same hip and have multiple therapy's and massages over the last two years and nothing compares to my experience today with Hillary at More clinic. For the first time,my hip has felt relief and looseness. I think the likliness of my hip healing and becoming "normal" now has potential. Having broken my ankle in January of 2021 after the year we had in 2020 really really sucked! BUT I could not be happier to have found More Physical Therapy AND more importantly have Jessica Bobeda as my physical therapist. Originally I started with her at the Silvercreek site. Personally I do like that location just a tiny bit more than thornwood just because it is not as busy as thornwood) However I would follow Jessica where ever she practiced at. Which I did and once she said she was moving to this clinic full-time I said "don't forget to take my patient folder with you when you leave and give me directions how to get there." I have never done PT before and tell everyone I only feel better physically and mentally due to Jessica and how much she cares about her patients. She always has a game plan for what to do or how to change something up depending on your progress. Does her best to accommodate your schedule even though everyone wants to see her, and is so knowledgeable you know you are in good hands. She is so great that I would drive from Hollister to San Jose for my PT apts 2x a week with her during my last couple of months of treatment just to stay on her plan to recovery. I highly recommend trying both sites at Silver Creek or Thornwood in general because all staff there are so kind and especially recommend Jessica as your PT. First visit was great, very solid physical therapy experience. Second visit was a fantastic showing of absolute minimal effort: -My 14yo son suffered a hard muscle bruise/charley horse and needed treatment to expedite healing. -Staff was lethargic and had no sense of urgency getting to us. -No ice/stem provided. -No massage provided. -We were sent home with a series of exercises. I'm no expert in kinesiology, but I know when someone isn't into their job. We will not be returning. read more

After a back (L5-S1 fusion) surgery, I used my experience as a retired hospital CEO from another state to research the best physical therapist in the area, and I selected Martha at Moore Physical Therapy located inside Forma Gym behind Oakridge Mall. This was the right decision. She is excellent. Due to a lengthy rehab, I have been treated by the other therapists at this location, and they all provided the highest quality. Because this Moore PT location is inside a large gym with lots of distanced exercise equipment, and plenty of staff for cleaning and sanitizing, the environment was very safe. Martha and the PT staff get my highest rating. read more

So far, I've only had aquatic physical therapy here (not ready for land-based PT yet) and I've been very happy with the treatment received. I see Tina twice a week and have definitely seen improvement. She's great and really seems to care about her patients. I've also seen her assistant, Stephanie, when Tina was out and she was great too. The office is really clean, as a few other reviewers pointed out. I like that they assign patients their own stim pads, as to avoid sharing germs with randoms, and wipe down the tables with cleaning solution between patients. For an OCD person such as myself, the cleanliness is appreciated. I should also point out that their business office is pretty easy to deal with compared to other PT locations; I go here through workers comp and had no problems with the paperwork. If I had to point out any tiny flaws, it would just be that the therapy pool is small-ish and sometimes they overbook patients and you're sharing the pool (and your therapist) with a few other people. It's not a huge deal, but I wish the pool was either larger or patients were booked further apart. read more

Love it here! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Therapy is so relaxing, I wish I could go everyday. They allow drop in appointments for 10 bucks to use the pool and just stretch and relax when you are feeling sore or flared up. The staff is really involved in my care and is always checking up on me, they read my file and know who I am when I come in and I always feel great when I leave. It's not like other places I have been where they just make you do a bunch of routines 3 times and someone comes around once to check on you. They are with you the whole time, asking how you feel and correcting your posture or positioning. read more

I have been going to MORE for a year and a half. While I have meet with just about everyone there in the beginning and they were all caring and kind, I primarily see Jessica for the last year since she has the schedules that match my busy schedule. She always makes time for me even when I run a few minutes late. Everytime MORE gets me better the dr.'s shot me with another steroid and knock me back down and we have to start all over again and everytime she is right there next to me helping me through the recovery period even when it feels like we are starting from stratch. I would definitely recommend MORE to those with mobilty problems. read more

Yelp describes five stars as "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" and that is definitely fitting for this MORE center! I refer to the folks here as my favorite sadists, but I say it with all affection; this is a great place staffed by a great group of people. Marci and Zaldy (the therapists in the office) are both dedicated and caring, as well as both being very friendly, as is Tina (the water therapist). They're all happy to explain what's going on and what they hope to achieve with the course of treatment (Marci has actually explained more of the mechanics of my diagnosis & ongoing problems than my orthopedic surgeon did), and they make an effort to really work in tandem with any other treatment a patient may be receiving (unlike many doctors, who seem to forget that other doctors may be involved in a patient's care). They are truly invested in each of their patients, sincerely rooting for each of us to get better & doing all they can to make that happen; And we cannot forget the therapy aides; from what I can tell, most of them are students who are going to school to become therapists & they are all just as friendly and caring as the therapists are. It's nice to be greeted by name & have a smiling face welcome you each time you go in; every one of the aides there are going to make great therapists one day. As to the nitty gritty of the center, it's always very clean; they wipe down the tables as soon as patients are done with them, and a clean towel is placed on every pillow that your head touches. The therapy pool is delightfully warm & always quite clean and inviting; often in pools that are kept at warmer temps, you tend to see more algae & such growing on the walls of the pool than in a normal pool, but not here. There are always clean towels to be had, the locker room is always pristine (that part can be attributed to Club One, the business that houses MORE, but I thought it was of note all the same), and overall, therapy at MORE is a pleasant experience. I hope to not need their services too often in my life, but if I ever need PT again, I'll be more than happy to do it at MORE. read more

This is a great place for Physical Therapy, and I can say I would not have fully recovered from my broken leg without More! The physical therapists are top notch - I worked with Marci Stevenson, who seems to be their most senior. I had a pretty serious injury, and Marci really helped me get back to normal - she had a perfect blend of encouragement and challenging me to the next step that really got me to make steady progress. Occasionally I worked with other PTs, and they were good as well. More is located inside a gym (Club One) - so in addition to their More facilities (one main treatment room plus a therapy pool), they will often utilize the machines in the gym as well. It's pretty easy to work with (appointments; they handle insurance smoothly, etc). The best part of the appointment was at the end - you lie down for 15 minutes, getting iced and electrostimulation - ahhh, I miss that. I hope never to NEED to go to More again, but if I'm ever injured, this is where I'll go. read more

I had a wonderful time going to see the team here. Martha was my physical therapist. Under her care and the care of several physical therapy assistants I became stronger and more stable in the hip and knee joints. I would have continued seeing these excellent practitioners, however my insurance changed and I needed to go elsewhere. This is a great place, and you'll be in good hands here! I have to agree with Jackie. They are sadists and they are my favorite PT guys! Zaldy was my primary therapist and helped me get my shoulder unstuck. He was kind yet firm and just kept smiling while he got my shoulder unstuck and I was doing my best not to curse and scare the other patients. All of the people I worked with there were nice, helpful and cheerful. The place was a well run machine, not a lot of waiting around and it was very clean. I even had my own set of pads for the stim which were mine alone while I was there. Marci told me a joke: What is the difference between a terrorist and a Physical Therapist? One you can negotiate with and the other is your therapist. True and funny. I had gone to another place and had an awful experience. I hope I don't need PT again but if I do I know exactly where I will go for it. Thanks guys for getting me back into almost fighting trim... now just gotta keep it up! The initial treatments were helping me but after 3 weeks they actually succeeded in derailing the success I had had, and put me in a condition worse than when I started. I abandoned treatment because I came in walking fairly well and after the last treatment I have been unable to use my leg normally, with deep joint pain resulting directly from the manipulations they did. This is not the pain of muscles worked or soreness from building strength. This is WRONG pain, inside the joint from being improperly manipulated. They hurt me. If you are overweight, or if your injury is not catastrophic, I do not recommend this place. They mean well, and obviously they have helped the other people here, but I don't believe they understand how to modify their methods for cases different from their typical clients. Since I e-mailed them directly they called me to go over the issues and were very courteous and informative. So even if my treatment didn't go as planned, they are responsible and caring. read more

I cant believe I am the first person to post something concerning the More Clinic on Thornwood Drive. I have been a client of the More Clinic for over 5 years (off and on of course). I have had shoulder and back surgery. The entire staff is absolutely wonderful. They really do care about their patients and it shows in each and every visit. This is the only location I know that has water therapy. I have used this in both surgery's and it has worked great. You are able to get a great workout without re-injuring yourself. The physical therapist Stephen Hoang here is clueless, Ive been lifting weights for decades and been doing crossfit, judo, soccer etc. Ive got a knee tendinosis, which my sport med doc had determined via an mri, the therapist seemed like a recent grad just got out of college and only interested in how he can diagnose things, showing zero interest in what I had to say, he gave me some exercises and stretches of which I do at home anyways, and had nerve to tell me that this issue was mcl issue, his analysis was that I was strong enough on the quads, so he disregarded my issue. No shit! I was strong, but I still have the issue since Ive been squatting for decades and had injured it during a session like 8-9 years ago. I couldve told this incompetent pt the right treatment, I was looking for having myofascial release techniques, a combination of graston tool, extracorpal shock wave, cross frictional massages etc. OMG! how do these passionless people get into these professions is beyond me. Anyways there are many reasons I think he's utter useless. But I highly recommend do not go here. Complete waste of time and money, especially if you are an athlete. read more

I have had 15 surgeries to recover from over the last 20 years and I've utilized a variety different Physical Therapy offices. I insisted on going to More Physical Therapy because I am getting older now and I can trust that MORE could help me bounce back. The staff is very professional, helpful and understanding to all your limitations. I had Stephen and Kelly as my Physical Therapist after a knee replacement and they did a great job. I was walking without a limp after just 4 visits. My leg strength is greater now than ever before and even my doctor is amazed at how great the knee looks! I would recommend MORE over any of the other Physical Therapist locations I've attended because they are the absolute best at getting you back better than ever before. When I called for my initial eval appointment I explained that I'd been to PT at least four times previously in a 10 year period for this knee and that it's very difficult to successfully rehab. Because of this I was expecting to be assigned to an older, very experienced therapist. Nope...got assigned to someone who appeared to have graduated 5 min. ago. This person was not a good listener and it was frustrating to have to repeat / correct things that he'd apparently not read properly on the pages and pages of forms I'd filled out or told him during our appointment. And then when he started me on exercises, I immediately told him that two of them would be putting stress on the part of my knee with *no* cartilage...and did he really want me to do them? Yes, he did. The end result was that each day when I did my exercises at home I had increasing pain in my knee. Tried skipping a day but as soon as I did the exercises again I had pain. Well, I know this isn't how PT is supposed to go. Discomfort due to stretching is normal/expected. Pain in the injured area is not. At least I was smart enough to not return after this first visit. Instead, went to a different PT group and saw someone with 20+ years of experience and had a proper experience...very good listening, no exercises stressing the affected area, correct exercises to strengthen the muscles around it, etc. NO pain. Should I have gone back to MORE, let them know the issues I was having and given them another try? In my opinion, no. The person made *so* many mistakes that I wasn't going to subject myself to the possibility of additional ones. I hope this person gets additional training / supervision from more experienced physical therapists. I am glad I quit before this person did me any lasting harm. read more
