We frequent Abo's and they never disappoint. Great service and excellent food. The Chicken Marsala is my go to. They also have an amazing mushroom white pizza. The restaurant is very clean and inviting.

We arrived after what might be the dinner rush, after 7pm. We were greeted very pleasantly by Chris, who also was our server. We opted for the arancini and the hungarian stuffed peppers for apps. Arancini was outstanding. The peppers were also delicious but spicy hot. I knew they were yummy because despite my lips being on fire I kept going back for another bite! For the mains I had the meatball grinder (very very good meatballs) with house made potato chips (so thin! So light! So crispy!) and my husband got the stromboli. He liked the meatball and sausage filling. Because I cannot pass up dessert, and because these are also house made, we ordered cannoli (3 to an order). Do not sleep on the cannoli, folks. Service was friendly and efficient. Place was spotless. Prices reasonable. We will return when next we find ourselves in Cleveland.

    Italian meat pizza

This is a family owned and operated restaurant with a strong community following. The food here is always great quality and good portions. We got the Italian meat pizza this time and split it. More than enough for 2 guys after work. The service is high quality, with the staff being very personable and gives you the feeling of a local hangout.

Food was amazing. Every dish came out so hot I will be back for the Philly steak egg rolls Veal parmesan was perfect. The Gnocchi was delicious. I loved the lush drink and the service was great.

Review of the Aborrito. EPIC! Great flavor. Large portion. Fresh Stromboli smothered w/ homemade red sauce, pesto, and cheese. Great atmosphere for a Thursday night gathering.

I dined at Mia Bella with my daughter while in Cleveland for a soccer camp at CWRU. The restaurant…read morewas small but nice, and we chose to sit at a high top rather than wait for a table. The service was attentive, and several people checked on us throughout our meal. I ordered the lobster ravioli, and my daughter ordered the pesto pasta and added chicken. Both dishes were excellent. The lobster ravioli was extremely flavorful, and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken with her pesto. This was some of the best Italian food I've had. This might not be saying a lot because I am from L.A. and we are not known for our Italian food. My only complaint was the bread. Most Italian restaurants offer complimentary bread for the table, but Mia Bella charges extra for it. That wouldn't bother me as much if the bread were something special, but it was extremely ordinary. It was warm, but otherwise pretty tasteless; no garlic, garlic butter, herbs, or anything else to make it memorable. I'd definitely skip the bread and order a legitimate appetizer instead. All in all, the experience was very strong, and I would definitely return.

We had the ricotta & honey crostini, which I'd quite literally rate a 10/10 and I am a strict grader. It was absolutely the best appetizer I've ever had at a restaurant and possibly the best bread I've ever had. The entrees were fantastic, despite a small portion for my ravioli and meatballs. I had some of my parents dishes too which were quite good. Overall I'd rate this place a 9.7/10 and will certainly be bringing my business back in the future!

Met friends for dinner. This changed from BBQ to Italian so we wanted to give it a try. Our…read moreserver was excellent. Great smile and very welcoming ! He said the special was chicken parmigiana so I thought I'd try it. He brought us a very nice bread with a tasty butter and olive oil mix. I ordered the chopped salad that I absolutely loved! There were lives of cauliflower, different types of olives and a pickled red onion that wasn't over bearingly strong. The chicken parmigiana was tasty. Two patties if chicken over fettuccini. I noticed on the way out that eggplant parmigiana was also a special. I might've had that if I'd known. I will definitely come back on a Tuesday to try the eggplant. I might also come back to try their pizza. Nice place. Give it a try!!!

If you didn't know better and walked in the first time, you'd say, "This looks like a BBQ spot!" Of course, it was. Hanging a few doilies and Italian aperitif posters doesn't help. The delicate and frankly, pretty dishes are disconcerting against the rough and tumble tables and chairs place you in the wrong mindset. It just doesn't work. My Bolognese Cavatelli was very good, but my wife felt the Eggplant Parmigiana was simply a cheesy clump, the skin tough and stringy. An excellent bread service goes in the win column. Unfortunately, this was like eating quenelles and lobster on a paper plate washed down with Champagne in a plastic flute.
