I found Donavin thru a lot of internet searching and reading reviews on auto detailing services with YELP. Upon Donavin having the highest reviews with no negative remarks I called him. I just arrived in FT Hood, TX and I drove my Range Rover Sport Supercharged from FT Campbell, KY to FT Rucker, AL and then from there to FT Hood, TX. It was detailed before the long journey by the Range Rover dealership I bought it from in Nashville, TN and I paid them almost $600 for just that one vehicle and no engine detail. Donavin, called me back the same day I left a message on his answering machine and informed me he was booked and would not be able to get to my vehicle for 3 weeks. I told him I was in no rush and I was very pleased with his professionalism and honesty and that he would actually drive over an hour and 15 min from Austin, TX to Killeen/FT Hood, TX. He promised to show up by 9am on a Saturday and he actually showed up 30 min early. I offered him my garage to do the work and he said he likes to do the work outside in the sun. He is able to see and do a better job outside. He only used a bucket of water from my waterhose and used environmental friendly products. He used clay bar to remove the dirt and grime before he washed, buffed, polished and clearcoated the vehicle. He also did an outstanding job on the wheels and tires and the engine as well. When he was done with the outside, he detailed the interior of my car and it looked just as good as the day I bought it from the Range Rover dealership. I then was so impressed, I asked him to detail my sports car that I had shipped to a friend here. The transporter service I paid for did a terrible job protecting the vehicle when I paid for a covered mover and the car looked really bad when I got it. He did the same procedure on it like he did on my Range Rover and it was back to the new paint job I paid for on it before I shipped it. I was very impressed on what he did in 9 hours on 2 vehicles in the hot sun. The biggest surprise in my opinion for all this hard work and a true detailing job was he only charged me $450!!!!! Tell me where you can get someone to drive over an hour (especially with the high gas prices), spend 9 hours in the hot sun and detail two black colored vehicles for $450.00. I am a very picky person and I was so impressed with him. I felt guilty on not being asked to pay more. So, if you are a Soldier or person living in the Killeen/FT Hood/Temple area, I would give Donavin a call because he was willing to drive here for me. If you love your vehicle as much as I do or you have a vehicle that has not been detailed since you have bought it and want it to look new again, then give him a call. U.N.B.E.L.I.E.V.A.B.L.E. !!! (Created a Yelp account just to add another 5-star review for Donavin.) Donavin showed up early and stayed late; he worked until the car was absolutely perfect. His attention to detail is "above & beyond" what I imagined.--The business' name makes total sense. Literally 10x cleaner than I've ever been able to clean the car myself. Donavin cleaned EVERYWHERE! Parts of the car were cleaned that I didn't even notice until days later!!--Under the fenders; inside the wheel-wells. He hand-polished the rims! The freaking windshield wipers were done. The interior is so clean it looks wet!! I'm not sure what products were used, but there is no greasy film left on anything. Amazingly, he only used 1 bucket of water for the whole car! Simply put, it's all just cleeeeean!!!! Everything looks brand-new; no joke. After I got to see inside & out, the cherry on top was when he popped the hood..... WOWW! THE ENGINE LOOKS NEW!! I looked through there after Donavin left and could not see any part that had not been cleaned. Speechless, really... Everywhere and everything my eyes could see had been wiped down, cleaned, waxed or polished. I searched through several detail shops & other businesses online and not a single one of them had reviews that made me say, "Damn, they must do a fantastic job!" ...then I found Donavin's profile which had nothing but 5-star reviews. Look for yourself!--He's not received a single review that isn't 5 stars! At first I didn't believe it was legitimate, to be honest. I thought there must have been some kind of b*llsh*t going on behind the scenes to create such a stunning rating, but no... Donavin's work is actually that effing amazing. I was looking for a mobile detailer to come out and restore my wife's car and found Donavin via his Yelp reviews. After working with him I can say that all the 5 star reviews are completely justified. My wife's car is a 10 year old, formerly beautiful black coupe that has seen more than its share of the Texas sun and the usual abuse. There were the typical minor scratches to the body, a big swatch of white paint from something or other on a side panel, sun damaged paint and an interior that reflected the hectic lifestyle she's been leading lately. Donavin was easy to work with on getting a schedule together and gave me a rough estimate prior to coming out so I knew what to expect. The final cost was on the upper end of the estimate, but I'd fully expected to pay more, so the cost was more than satisfactory for me. And boy was it worth it! He and his partner spent about 8hrs working on her car. The interior was spotless (even had a whiff of new car smell). The exterior looked like a practically new car. He even managed to get the paint off of the side panel and the majority of the swirls and scratches were magically erased. The neighbors commented that they couldn't believe he had worked that long on it. The best part was when my wife called me to give me a status update on the job. She was so excited to have her beautiful car back that I knew I'd found the right man for the job. If you're looking for a detailing service I highly recommend Donavin. I strongly recommend Donavin to anyone who needs to detail their car - You wouldnt believe how awesome your car could look! My car looks brand new! I have a Honda Accord that I park in a paid spot everyday. Due to construction nearby, my car (along with several others in that lot) got a nice shower of concrete spots on the front and side. CONCRETE!! One of the car owners had his car taken to a 'well-known detailer' and they got the paint off while trying to get the concrete off - which was horrible!! I contacted Donavin because of all the great reviews here on yelp. He was extremely easy to work with and did his own due diligence to ensure he was using the best products to get the concrete off. He worked tirelessly for 9+ hours and did an AMAZING job. NO paint came off, there is no remnant of concete, and the exterior is smooth and shines like a mirror. I bought my car from its second owner and have never seen its exterior look so good! Donavin also did my interior and it looks amazing too. I truly felt like I was driving a brand new car. His prices are truly reasonable for all his work that he puts in, he truly cares about his work and it shows cause the end product is awesome. Another girl who had the same problem has also scheduled him to detail her car ..... My husband was so thrilled with my car that he's going to get his done with Donavin as well. Several times thru the years, I've paid about a couple hundred to get a high-end detail. Generally it was to sell the vehicle and it made a big difference every time. This time it was to detail a vehicle I'm keeping for the long-term, '09 Forester, which hadn't seen any detailing since being purchased 50k mi. ago. Donavin spent all day on it and I got the same high quality others here have experienced. On-time, answered all my random questions, exterior got lots of work, clay-bar, polish, it's super smooth. The interior dirt and coffee spill stains gone. I too had a bad experience back in the day at H2O. They waxed over grit, didn't claybar, didn't listen to what I asked for, which I was willing to pay for and didn't get. They remedied that problem, but I also left with a dent that I'm highly suspect happened there. That's a high volume place that doesn't get it, as most don't. Researching detailers is a time-consuming drag. There are no guarantees whether it's a shop or some guy online with the executive, presidential detail packaged cheesy marketing. Donavin is worth the $200 +/- it costs to do an all day restore a vehicle. I'm on the schedule for my motorcycle next. He doesn't screw around, he shows up, knows what he's doing and you get a vehicle you'll feel motivated about keeping clean for a while yourself until it's time for him to hit it again in the future. Donovain is off the hook! No doubt the best detailer I have EVER encountered. "Attention to Detail", no pun intended. It takes me a lot to be happy, I tend to be a little hard on people. I have had Donovain do my M3 BMW that has alway's lived in a garage and actually lived on the street under the oaks tree's with pollen all over it , and I had just scratched it by using the other side of a window sheild cleaner stick from the gas station. Don't ever do it! Scratches all over the hood. Well that man did mircales on it and it absolutely look better than it ever has by anyone who has cleaned it. He got all of those scratches out of the hood. Then I had him detail my boat, old Wellcraft with white interior. She looked better than ever! He performed miracles. He also did my beat up old 2004 Suburban, which to say the least was trashed! He spent hours, all day on this. He was determined and it worked. The interior was like new. I had evreryone go , "what the ???" , who did the truck? I decided to keep it and not sell it. So therefore he also saved me money. Keeping the truck now. He is doing my motorcycle as soon as I get it over to my house. I can't wait to see it when he finishes it. Prices are great! Very reasonable. After browsing Yelp for car detailing services, I decided to call Donavin to detail my car and my wife's SUV. Both my wife and I needed our interiors thoroughly cleaned because the previous owners of both cars smoked, and with 26 5-star reviews, how could we go wrong? We didn't. Donavin worked for several hours on getting my car cleaned first. I used another mobile detailing service before and was not completely satisfied with the results. However, Donavin did not disappoint me. He got a stain almost completely out of the back seat that we BOTH thought wouldn't come out at all. The interior of my car went from dusty and smoky to spotless. Donavin was going to try to also detail my wife's SUV right after mine, but the heat got to him, so we had to reschedule. As a courtesy, he offered to detail the outside of my wife's SUV at no cost!! My wife and mother-in-law were amazed at his attention to detail. While visiting my sister in Austin, I decided to have my truck detailed. I found Donavin on Yelp and with the all the 5 star reviews decided he was the guy I wanted to detail my truck. When I contacted Donavin he returned my text right away. He was booked for that weekend but said he would see what he could do since I would only be in town for two days. He contacted me the next day and said he was able to switch the other customer to another day and set up my appointment. What great customer service, plus, accommodating my schedule! He was on time, did the most fantastic job, with extreme attention to detail and the price was much less then I expected and worth far more then I paid. My truck is a Ford-150 Harley Davidson Edition, Preimier year 2000, with original paint job and Donavin made it look like it did when it came off the showroom floor. Both inside and out and under the hood. The wheels were a concern to me and I thought I may have to replace them. I could not believe how beautiful the chrome looked when he finished. Other reviewers mentioned that Above & Beyond Detailing made their car look like new and they are absolutely correct! I hired A&B to detail 3 cars: a 1999 SUV that is a daily driver therefore it's in very used condition, a 2000 sports car that has been garaged for years and in used condition and a 2013 SUV that hasn't had a full detailing since it left the dealership the day it was purchased. All 3 vehicles were detailed by Donavin to the point where we realized the true color of the exterior paint and interior upholstery. Years of use left multiple layers of dirt, grime, pollen, tree sap and asphalt stains. You tend to forget the beauty that made you buy your car and Donavin certainly made my families cars gorgeous again! My car hasn't looked this good since it rolled off the factory floor. Donavin and Mugsy are great, he spent 6 or 7 hours on my car (which is garage kept and fairly clean to begin with) while mugsy (his very quite well behaved dog) lounged around in the sun. I am extremely particular about my car and how it is cared for and have been previously very unsatisfied with other more commercial detailing services, but with Donavin, nothing was overlooked, he puts the detail work back into automotive detailing. You are simply not going to find better service at any price. Top it off with Donavin is the kind of guy that is a joy to have around, he is polite and easy going. Donavin brings old fashion work ethics and skill with him, and takes pride in doing the best job he can on every car he touches. made an account just to post up this review, even though donavin might have more 5 star reviews than any business in austin. the left side of my car had been covered in hard water spots for about 2 months (thanks, neighbor's sprinkler). paint, auto glass, everything - it was terrible, and to make things worse, the texas sun had already been doing its part for the past month baking them into my paint. donavin was amazing. not only did he get all the water spots and the scratches out of my paint, he managed to get them out of the auto glass and side mirrors too. i don't know how he did it, because that ish was baked ON. additionally, i thought i kept the inside pretty clean as it was, but i was totally wrong. compared to what it looked like after, i might as well have been driving a tumbleweed in a dust storm. in short: the best freaking money i've ever spent ever. oh also his dog is adorable. read more

I called Above & Beyond because I didn't want to bring my newer vehicle through the harsh automatic washers & wanted someone to come to my house to provide a professional product. The owner arrived early (which he made sure was okay before coming) & since I had never had a mobile detailer before I thought the prices were high. Boy was I wrong. I would have paid more for the attention to detail he provided. Since my car was practically brand new I only wanted the exterior done. He spent at least 4 hours on just the outside of the vehicle alone. I was so glad he came out at the end of the day that I was already telling all my friends about him. The owner is very humble, honest, professional & down to earth. Not to mention he had a beautiful friendly dog that he travels with. I signed up for a Yelp account just to give Donavin a 5-star review. That's how good he was. Dropped off my 8-year-old Outback that hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner and wash twice in the last two years. Donavin worked magic. Got the cloth seats looking new--even the area under my kid's car seat and the nasty floor mats. The engine is now very clean, and the outside of the car looks terrific. Rims are spotless. Made the car look at least five years younger (doesn't look brand new only because of permanent damage that's my fault). Donavin's communication via text with me during the process was really good. Kept me updated and let me know of the issues that came up. The $400 plus two Uber trips from South Austin to his place in Buda was worth it! I've had my 2013 VW Jetta just over a year, and in that time I've taken it to places like Arbor or Mr. Car Wash, so I was familiar with that level of service. What do I know about "detailing?" I know it's tough to do a great job. "A great job" doesn't begin to describe Donavin's work - more like phenomenal! I got my car back in the evening, and I was stunned. I wasn't sure what to expect with my car still being "new," but he made it look incredible - inside and out. And not just look incredible, but feel incredible! My car did not feel this smooth and silky when I bought it. I don't know how he does it, but he's got it down. The next morning I went out in my pajamas and robe to look at it (and feel it) again. WOW. This guy is truly fantastic. I decided to hire Donavin after reading all of the positive reviews. I was pretty sure he was going to do a good job because of all the reviews, but I never imagined that he would be this amazing! I pay very close attention to detail, and he didn't miss a thing. He worked ALL DAY on my car and it looks showroom new, and this is an 8 year old luxury car! I keep walking over to the garage and opening the door to peek inside because I just can't get over how good it looks! Now my only problem is that it looks so amazing I don't want to drive it! While some things fail to live up to expectations, the hype is very real with Donavin. My girlfriend and I recently replaced her Saturn with a 4 year old Volvo S60. While the Volvo was in reasonably decent shape, it was long overdue for a good cleaning, and even had a few scrapes and dings. As Donavin put it, this was more of a restoration than a simple cleaning, since he took a well used family sedan and turned into in a like-new driving machine. The paint is smooth as silk, the leather is soft and supple, the scrapes were virtually gone, and he was able to get into cracks and crevices I didn't even know could be cleaned. It truly looks amazing. He's a genuinely good guy who clearly cares about what he does, and it shows in his fantastic work. I really couldn't recommend him more. read more

There's not a square inch on your vehicle that Donavin will overlook. My black Pontiac Solstice 2006 looks the way it did when I pulled it off the lot 6 years ago! He got out whisker scratches, clay mud that was splashed from a construction vehicle, and that annoying fade/haze that builds up on your headlights!
