Inside was okay. We didn't enjoy the table cloths that seemed cheap and ours was dirty when we sat down. The tables themselves were folding camping tables but they had a beautiful built in bar. Pizza was good. Nothing to call home to but I wouldn't object to going back if someone else wanted to go.

Still some of the best pizza around. I love how proud the owners are and how they remember customers they've had before. We've made our own pizzas and tried their specials nothing is bad we keep coming back for the yumminess!!

This place is great as always! My husband and I always forget about this place since it's further away and not at the old Underground location. They have a wonderful craft beer selection with some wines. The atmosphere is casual and the food is fresh to order. We need to start coming more regularly as it's relaxing to hang out at the bar while sipping on local, ice cold brews.

4.5 stars. This place was AMAZING. Best pizza in town, by FAR. Also, lit playlist playing throughout the restaurant. The ONLY reason I'm not giving it a solid 5 stars was because of the lack of a changing table for littles ones.

    Great Spot... Take out Thursday!

Great Family owned Pizza Joint. Artisan Pizzas with lots of TLC make this a spot that is worth the drive and wait. Super friendly staff, Great craft Beers. (Bier) What a great spot! Pizza prices are great.

While out and about running errands with the wife, hunger called, so we had answer. She was starving, and I was nursing a hangover, so we collectively decided on Above Ground pizza. We had been wanting to try it for a while so now was the perfect time. We both really enjoyed Underground pizza in downtown before it closed, and hated to see it go. We parked, got out, and strolled inside. Inside was a cozy medium sized dining room with high top and low top tables. It seemed kind of cramped, but outside seating was also available. This is your walk up to the counter and order kind of place, and they bring it to you. The wife and I perused the menu (see photo) and decided on the cheesy herbed knot ring, and a pepperoni pizza with half jalapeños. Asked what we wanted to drink, the wife wanted water and I asked for the available choices. I was offered sodas in a can, or water or iced tea on tap. I opted for an ice tea, although I really wanted a soda. I was not going to pay $3.00 for a canned soda. Overall, I paid $37.47 which I thought was a bit pricey, however, I understand inflation is a real thing, and did not complain. Seems like pizza joints are not immune to rising prices of our economy. We were handed paper plates and silverware, and we looked for a table. We walked and filled our drinks up, and walked toward the table. I took a sip of my tea, and was immediately disgusted. It tasted like it had been sitting a couple of days and was stale. I promptly proceeded to the bathroom and dumped the tea out in the sink, and then I went back to the front counter and asked for more ice (remember, no fountain machine). The nice lady behind the counter asked if I had a spill, to which I replied politely that the tea was disgusting. She offered me a soda and said she would brew fresh tea. We sat down and enjoyed some tunes (bonus points for "Amor Prohibido" - RIP Salena), and enjoyed each other's company. Shortly thereafter, our cheesy herbed knot ring arrived nice and hot (see photo). We jumped right in and started to it off. The bread was nice and crispy and crunchy. Nice herbed taste, but the cheese was almost non existent. It did not take away from the goodness of it, however, the description on the menu was a tad deceiving. That being said, we would order it again. It was delicious, just not cheesy. In good time, our pizza arrived piping hot. It looked delicious, but greasy. We started to scarf it down. The pizza was good. Nothing spectacular, but was good. Nice and crispy, cheesy and saucy. The wife always calls me a wimp (actually, I paraphrase what she really calls me) because I'm not a huge fan of jalapeños. I will usually try one or two, but I am not glutton for punishment with spicy foods. She can usually eat jalapeños like they are skittles and enjoys the burn very much. She took a big bite with jalapeños in it, and she instantly regretted it. This says a lot, because she can withstand super spicy foods, but she had met her match! I took a small bite of a jalapeño, and instantly reached for my drink, which did nothing to soften the spicy blow. This impressed me very much, and I took great pleasure calling the wife a wuss! That being said, if you like spicy foods, try their jalapeños. They are very good, but pack a strong spicy punch to the tastebuds. We finished our pizza, and I gave the sweet tea another try. As promised, a new batch had been brewed and was much better. No harm, no foul. They just needed to be made aware that the stale tea was nasty. We strolled out and we heard the staff behind the counter thank us for our patronage. Both of us were satisfied with our choice. Overall, I was pleased. It was nothing spectacular, but it is worth eating again. I would recommend it for anyone looking for decent pizza. Give it a try and tell me what you think. I would hope in the future that they will consider fountain drinks. That was my only real complaint. Enjoy.

No frills. But damn good pizza. I came by on a Friday evening around 7:30. FYI, they close at 8:00, so it's not ideal for a late dinner. I didn't know what to get, so the polite and awesome lady at the counter steered me toward the BBQ chicken pizza. I also got a frozen sangria drink. Most tables were full, so I sat at the bar. And in a few minutes, the goodness was in front of me. The crust was fluffy, but not too thick. When crust is too thick, I get full on it. The person who served me my pizza also gave me a cup of ranch, and I was set. New Braunfels is getting more and more decent food places as it grows as a city. Add this one to your list.

One of the worst restaurants in the area. But honestly I don't expecting anything less from the Salomon family restaurant franchise. The food was overpriced. We were not greeted and were not told how to order. Once we were ready, nobody came to the register to take our order. We waited 40 minutes for a house salad. Which they forgot to make. We had to get up and say something. It is dirty and unclean on the inside. All of the tables have crumbs and stains. Will not be back. Don't waste your money at ANY Salomon business'.

Just about a block off the main drag, this little pizza joint has a lot of flavor with a little charm. Keep in mind these are all 10" pies so if you're hungry, one pie per person, but the wife and I decided to share the 10" Garden Goddess special pie as our lunch. The pie was covered in Black olives and boast mushrooms, white onions, bell pepper & pickled red onion toppings with a sweet and spicy honey drizzled around. The spicy honey complimented the pickled onions making this a very flavorful pie. We enjoyed the owner's company as we were the only guest this early Saturday afternoon. Bill the owner, was very friendly and talked to us about the history of the company which actually began in the town I was born in, Brockton MA. Small world!! If you're looking for a great pizza that's not your typical fast food pizza, NB's Wicked Bah Pizza is a must to try. We will definitely be back to try a couple more of Bill's selection of pizzas. OH, and don't forget to grab some desert!!! I had the tiramisu, I'm very picky about Tiramisu and this was a great desert that i will definitely get again.

The place had decent parking and was easy to find. Once we arrived inside we were quickly greeted with amazing customer service. The place was small and had a family friendly feel to it, and the employees had great energy. Our server helped us out with the menu and recommended the Egg-roll of the week. Which was like an Italian Sub Egg Roll. It was amazing! We also ended up ordering a pizza. Which the server also recommended his favorite the 10" Wicked Roni. Which had Pepperoni, onion, fresh jalapeno & a spicy honey drizzle. Once the pizza arrived we were a little saddened by the size of the pizza, since it was so small. But it does say 10", so be prepared for the size. The only issue that I had for this place and the reason why it lost a star, was because of the bland flavor of the pizza. Maybe it was just off that day, but there was hardly any flavor in the pepperoni or the jalapeños. They weren't even spicy at all! It was as I lost my taste while eating the pizza. Which was a little disappointing because the egg-roll was amazing! But we will definitely want to give this place another shot, because of how great the customer service was and how great the egg-roll was. We will try another pizza next time!

We ordered: The Big Dons 14" Buffalo sauced wings And a caesar salad. Pizza was pretty good, plenty of seasoning & flavor though I must say, once cold, the toppings & cheese slid right off of the crust. Had a good undercarriage and well made for a thin crust. Buffalo wings were pretty good though we had a few of drums that had shattered bones so that was kinda disappointing. Flavor was pretty good, wish they offered a spicier version. Good vinegar kick so bonus points on that. Salad was... OK. For $9 we expected better / more for it not being the $5 "side" portion.

Nice touch though. It could have had more sauce. And there were two random mushroom pieces in the box, even though I didn't order a pizza that came with mushrooms. It was a little on the pricy side. And though they say it's thin crust, it's thicker than what I would consider thin crust to be. I think I would have preferred the toppings to be more evenly distributed. And it seemed pretty greasy. But that's because of the Canadian bacon and the cheddar cheese. Also, why does the music in the building have to be that loud? The woman at the register had difficulty understanding what I was saying. Hey, Google's AI says that you have Chicago style pizza. I was informed that that is incorrect.

I ordered the Supreme and specifically asked for no mushrooms because I really dislike both the taste and smell of them. My son's pizza came out first, and when mine came out afterward, it was covered in mushrooms. The employee who brought it over could immediately tell something was wrong and asked if there was something on it that wasn't supposed to be. I told her I had ordered it without mushrooms. She basically said, "Oh, sorry," and that was it. No offer to remake it, replace it, or correct the order in any way. Mistakes happen. I completely understand that. What I don't understand is recognizing that a customer received something different from what they ordered and then making no attempt to fix it. I wasn't going to make a scene, so I waited for my son to finish eating, took my pizza to go, and gave it to my mother-in-law because I wasn't going to eat it. The incorrect pizza itself wouldn't have been enough for me to leave a bad review. The complete lack of effort to make the order right is what did it. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning.
