Been here a few times but haven't done a review yet. The pizza here is delish. And love their specialty pizzas. My husband loves the wine country one and I have a few faves. We stumbled upon this place when we were in the area and noticed that it had great reviews and we hadn't had pizza in a while. Once we arrived, parking was decent since it was located in a shopping center, and once we walking inside the atmosphere had a new age pizza vibe. We ended up ordering the pizza rolls (which were highly recommended by the employee) and the 14" Billy Goat Pizza, which came with garlic olive oil, shredded mozzarella, caramelized red onions, bacon, grape tomatoes, goat cheese. We also ordered 2 fountain drinks. With a military/first responder discount it ended up being around $47. Once the food came out it was amazing! The pizza rolls were delicious and the Billy Goat was one of the best pizza's I've had in New Braunfels. The only issue I had and why the review lost a star, was that we waited so long. Almost 30 min sitting there before our rolls came out and another 10-15 min after for the pizza. I did see orders coming out repeatedly for pickup and delivery, but the dining area was pretty empty and not one person checked up on us or gave us a time frame until after the food came. read more

It's a pizza parlor, hard to screw it up. Pizzas were fine, classic & the stout had good flavor, although dough on its own didn't have much flavor to it. No one was there but a guy waiting for to-go, took 23 minutes to get two pizzas. read more

Came in the new location in East Austin for lunch. This is their first week opening so I wanted to highlight that. We got the stouts pizza and the chicken bacon ranch. Both were AMAZING. Our service was good but an odd thing happened, our server brought out our waters and sodas without ice. It's reiterate, it as the first week- just haven't had that happen ever. Ordered four orders of pizza rolls tonight and two ceaser salads. Unfortunately the pizza rolls when we got them home were completely raw and doughy in the middle. So raw that we even tried to convince ourselves it was melted cheese... nope. Raw dough. Called the store. They offered to replace our Oder. I appreciate that. I have not eaten here since they opened, and I'm not sure why, since they were delicious then. We ordered take out and wanted pizza (of course) but also some salad. Majority of pizza places call lettuce with a tomato and dressing a salad, which is a no-go for me. We ordered 2 of the avocado salads, which were delicious and flavorful and enough for 4 people to have a bowl before pizza. We were very impressed. We also had 2 large pizzas (a supreme and a veggie). I have not seen that many toppings on a pizza in ages- it was incredible! The veggie pizza was a legit veggie pizza. Decided to try out a neighborhood pizza joint and was not disappointed. We placed the order for the Stout Special for pick up about 15 minutes before arrival and had to wait a few minutes upon arrival for them to cut and box up the pizza. We had about a 10 minute drive home but sadly, the pizza was a bit lukewarm by the time we sat down and ate (eat at the restaurant if you can or grab a slice in the car). I liked that a little container of shredded basil was included, I have never seen that! Even after a quick heat in the microwave, the crust was still very soft and chewy. The 14" was enough for 2 of us for dinner and we each had a slice left over for lunch the next day. Solid neighborhood pizza, will return! read more

So I come to Texas to visit my daughter, son in law and grandkids. I have been here many times and have tried at least 3 different pizza places and was not impressed with any of them. This place was very good. We had pepperoni stuffed bread and 3 different pizzas Cheese , 3 meat thin crust and one of the special pizza. Everyone loves the crust. The thin crust was on point. The service was good. You order when you walk in the door. This place was empty when we arrived (kind of a early dinner). Moore people were coming in while we ate. We stopped in here on Christmas Eve as we were visiting from out of town and there weren't many restaurants open on Christmas Eve. We were very satisfied with their pizza! It was served to us piping-hot and the pizza was both soft and crunchy at the same time. The cheese was super melty and all-around delicious. We've been wanting to come try this place. Finally had a chance. The place was empty, close to closing time. The staff was still super friendly and our food came out nice and hot. We just had the cheese bread, and the large Texas pepperoni pizza. Definitely big enough to feed 4 people. I enjoyed the music that was being played, some good rock n roll, from the 90s. They have about 8-10 beers on tap, also have cones. The pizza had a good flavor, the crust was done very well. The cheese bread and the marinara sauce was good as well. We will definitely be back. Dang, this was some mighty fine pizza. Ok, it was a calazone but nearly the same thing. Arrived at 11:30 for lunch and they had to unlock the door. That felt strange, but the place was immaculate and had our choice of seats. Friendly cashier. Serve yourself style drinks, so never know what's the deal when the iPod cash register asks for a tip. Really wish we had checked out the menu before coming. Tons of great specialty pizzas I'd love to try out. The calzone was nearly perfect. Crust was world class. Cheese melted spot on. Our first night in town, after hours of flying and dealing with rental cars and resort check-in we were exhausted! We decided to order pizza to take out and eat in our condo. I randomly selected Stouts based upon Yelp reviews and proximity to our lodging accommodations. We ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple pizza along with pepperoni rolls. The pizza was good. The pepperoni rolls were different than anything I've had before. They were delicious! I would not consider visiting this place and not ordering those pepperoni rolls! Our first shot at this....went big with 4 pizza pies, pepperoni rolls, cheese sticks. The Greek - is the bomb!!! Ordered two and for momma and me, that's a Mediterranean style pizza. Crust was good, and the toppings were chunky and fresh!!! Three teens got theirs and no complaints with comparison to others having Stout on the top of the list. We've lived in NB for a while now and have yet to find amazing pizza! I will tell you that we have Austin standards, so there's that. I kept seeing pictures of Stouts pizza on Instagram and it looked decent so I wanted to give it a try. Sadly, it didn't impress us much! So, going to have to give this place 2 stars. We usually buy our pizza at New York Pizza Pub, but decided to give this place a try. First and foremost, way overpeiced. 1 large (16in) pizza plus 2 calzones, was $49. Whereas, at New York Pizza Pub, I could habe gotten 2 massive 20+in pizzas for less than that. Secondly, these calzones were by far the smallest I have ever seen. My husband ate one by himself, plus 3 pieces of pizza, and still had room to spare. We are happy we tried it, but overall, disappointmented we spent so much for such a small amount of food. We do not have cheat meals often, so likely will hit up New York Pizza Pub for our next pizza day. All in all, don't waste your money here. read more

I've ordered pizza here several times and always had very friendly service! It's not the cheapest pizza around but the flavor and quality is LUXURIOUS! If you want pizza that you'll really slow down and enjoy, this is it. The crust is thick and pillowy. The marinara sauce is totally homemade...the kind with just a little sweetness coming from tomatoes and basil, not from dumping sugar in the sauce.
