Well, it's only been a few months since my last update for Yelp World. I'm sad to say that my new Mitsubishi mini-split (less than a year old - see original post) has lost all it's refrigerant once again. The good news is that Trey is planning to come back out today to fix it. I hope to be getting cool air soon and plan to update everyone accordingly. I called Absolute yesterday at 1pm because my AC stopped working. Trey was here in less than an hour. He was able to fix the main problem which was a clogged drain pipe. When I was about to pay I told him about the larger company that had serviced my AC previously and gave me ridiculous quotes for new ductwork or even just fixing the issue we have with the master bedroom being so hot. Trey went in the attic and checked the unit outside. He was able to not only tell me what needed to be fixed but he showed me all of the issues and explained everything thoroughly. Today David and Ronnie came out to clean the unit and did a great job. They'll be out here again Friday to completely replace the ductwork. The honesty alone was enough to make me a loyal customer. Everyone has been super friendly so far and I'm so thankful to have found them yesterday. read more

With this horrible triple digit heat in Texas and no A/C, they came out right away to diagnose and fix the problem. Waste of time! We called them over 6 days ago to fix our AC. They were scheduled to be at our home yesterday between 11am to 3pm. At 12pm we called to find out when they would arrive. No call back. At 3 pm our warranty company said they spoke to them & it would be 30 min. They no showed & did not return text, email via Yelp or phone. Do not waste your time. Veteran Air is coming out today! Call them for prompt service. read more

I had one of their techs come to look at a water leak that my HVAC system was having. They didn't fix it correctly and is still leaking. Now I can't get anyone to respond after I paid them. Will never use this company again. Obviously not good value for the "work done". read more

Noticed AC wasn't cooling Friday afternoon and David came out that evening. Recharged the coolant and put in dye/sealant to see if there's a leak. Sunday afternoon noticed AC wasn't cooling again. Trey (owner) and David came back Monday and ended up replacing the coil, which had a leak. Very impressed with the timeliness of their response and the speed in which it was repaired. Would definitely recommend giving them a call if you have any HVAC issues. read more

Leonard got my ac up and running right away and he and Nick resolved why the unit shut down and came up with a solution to prevent a further issue. Our A/C died this morning from the severe storm we incurred yesterday, 7/23. I went to yelp looking for a service and saw this companies score was 4:8. I must tell you the ease of initiating the service call, after completing the request form, less than 10 mins and I had a response from Trey,he was at my home 90 minutes later. He diagnosed the problem within 30 mins. Now, the amazing part was I was receiving text messages from this company telling me when I should expect someone to replace the unit. The messages included the names of the service men that showed up. All quotes for prices were sent thru text and then a pdf with pricing. Once you approve the transaction,that was it and you had copies of every interaction saved on your mobile phone. I can't tell you the great customer service this group maintains. If you should require A/C work, don't hesitate to contact them. read more

This company scheduled with my warranty company for an A/C repair at my home. 11am - 3pm was their window to show up. I called at 9am to confirm appt and left a message. No answer and no call back. I called again at 1:30pm. Same results. At 3pm they were a no-show...which seems to be consistent with other 1 star reviews. My warranty company wanted me to wait 24 hours for a response from them. No thank you...obviously customers are not their priority. All this after I took 4 hours off from work without pay. Garbage!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

This co was assigned to me from my home warranty company. They came out on Friday and replaced my upstairs Nest thermostat with a much cheaper one and said they drained the pipe and AC was fixed. The upstairs wasn't cooling at first but I thought it may take some time to cool down. I paid the service fee. I never received any documentation of the work they said they completed or the additional work they said would be needed to prevent our AC from having this issue again. The tech was from corpus and was headed back when I called him and couldn't come back out but told me to call the office: I did and the guy said he'd call me back and never did: I contacted my warranty company and they scheduled another appointment for Monday. No one showed, no one responded to my numerous calls or text messages. I even sent emails to the owners and no response. The warranty co will hopefully find me someone else who can fix our unit. I hope no one else has this experience. Go with a different co. I'm now going to have to dispute the amount I paid since they didn't complete the work and won't respond. I can't find any Google reviews and the ones on their website are from last year. read more

After Absolute did my mom's house, David came back out to two other properties we own. He was, again, nothing but polite and professional. Both units were not cooling the way they should have been. David let us know that one needed to be replaced and that he could repair the other. He worked with us to find a solution that worked with our budget. David and Ronnie came by today and serviced the AC system. They inspected the duct work, checked the belts and pulleys and lubricated the bearings, checked humidity levels, checked and reset my thermostat, checked fan motor, cleaned the drain lines and cleaned the condenser thoroughly. I contacted Absolute among others about an AC issue. Within 30 minutes I was on the phone with Trey. He scheduled to come by within 3 hours, he was there is 2.5. He quickly analyzed the issue, was clear about what it was and had it fixed within 30 minutes. The issue was not as bad as he and I originally thought it was, he was honest about the issue as it was less. Trey was professional, knowledgeable and very customer focused. After he was finished I asked about a room that was not cooling like the others, he went into the attic and provided a temporary solution with a clear issue that needs to be addressed at a later date. I offered to pay him but he declined. Trey offered a great service, on time, quick turnaround and courteous service at a reasonable price. All hard things to get from most companies today. I highly recommend Trey and Absolute, I will use them again for sure. read more
