The facility has been updated very nicely with all new equipment, a dedicated personal training area, racquetball courts, spin classes, and a new Pilates section. The new lockers and great sauna refresh were also a great improvement. My only real disappointment is that I wish more attention had been given to the men's locker room during the remodel process. On my visit today, there were two broken showers, a lot of mildew in much of the tile grout and on the shower curtains, two toilet stalls out of order, and the hot tub was not functioning. I genuinely appreciate the investment made into the club, and overall the remodel was a big improvement. I just hope cleanliness and maintenance continue to be a focus moving forward, especially with so many fitness options now available in the Las Colinas area.

I'm a service technician so sometimes I finish my service calls late and still wanna get a workout in so it's super nice that Planet Fitness has locations all over. This location is new and just like all the rest of them super clean nice restrooms plenty of TVs that all work Hydro massage massage chairs at plenty. It's a very big Planet Fitness. Super cool bonus I've only seen it. A couple of planet fitness is is the free weights for bench and squat. They have racks in a separate area, which is awesome. The staff was super friendly happy that everyone is there thank them for coming in. Everyone was in uniform so you knew who worked there if you needed help with anything. Highly recommend to stop in.

After getting my key fob stolen from a stall in their facility not once did a manager reach out to…read moreme. The showers have mildew and I've literally taken pictures of roaches in the locker room. They employ under age staff who blame you for being stolen from. It's clear they have no sense of customer service nor cleanliness. I will be adding pictures of roaches and mildew. They also like to report your reviews instead of handling the issue. But, I don't expect people who disregard company policy to have any integrity or shame.

We've been working with Amber for almost six months now, and we've seen impressive changes in muscle mass growth and fat reduction, that we have nothing but praises for her style. My partner has lost over 50 pounds in said time, and I have increased my endurance and muscle mass in my triathlon training. Amber is constantly pushing us to challenge ourselves and finding ways to adapt to the very different training needs we both need, and she's fantastic whether it is solo or couple's training. And on that makeup comment.. please, her makeup is just perfect (not that she needs any), and anyone who complains isn't worth her time anyway. In summary, if you need a trainer who personally cares, caters to your individual needs and challenges you, look no further, Amber if your gal! ‍

This morning I found out that a friend (Rodney) who normally works out with our group had his…read moremembership revoked for "training in the gym". This is the second person that I personally know who had this happen to them at the Coppell location. Shortly after I was referred to the gym by my friend Antoinette Diaz, she contacted me and told me the same thing happened to her. Neither of the two are trainers. Antoinette and a group of her coworkers started working out together at LA Fitness before work a while back and made it a daily thing to workout together and push each other. When Club4 opened, she fell in love with it and began reaching out to everyone she knew to tell them about the gym. Rodney is an Armed Forces member that actually invited me to work out with the group that we have now. Both had their memberships cancelled and were notified of this by email. We are all friendly and respectful to other gym members and if asked about certain exercises give other members tips on performing them. None of us are trainers and none of us get paid for anything fitness related. I try to stay out of anything up there that doesn't pertain to me but am extremely upset. There have been more than a few African American employees there that are no longer with the company that had expressed that the manager (Stephen Lively) was discriminating against them. A former employee named Kynnedy was told she could not wear shorts because it didn't look professional, but all of the other girls wore them daily. She was extremely embarrassed because she has a bigger frame than the smaller petite girls there and was actually crying at work. I did not know her at the time outside of her signing me up for my membership but have a daughter her age so that did not sit well with me. On a separate incident, she and another Black female employee were made to move the couches into the men's locker room while Mr Lively and the other male staff were up front talking. One of the other male members approached him regarding the issue at which time Mr Lively stated he did not order them to move the furniture but the girls said in our hearing, "yes you did". Shortly afterwards Kynnedy was written up for not having her name tag on. She finally just resigned because he stayed on her daily. Not long afterward the other female employee disappeared too. One other employee by the name of Gideon left and went to a different branch and soon afterward, a young man whose name was Paul if memory serves me correctly disappeared too. All of these employees were black and all expressed similar issues with Mr Lively. If you check the employment records over the past 9 months, you'll notice a trend with the Black employees' employment. I have had my membership at CLUB4 since May of last year. I speak to whomever is behind the counter when I enter and leave. Mr Lively has never once acknowledged me. He will look down, look away or start talking to an employee rather than even say hello. That is the level of management that is overseeing your Coppell, Tx location. I'm pretty sure you will be receiving more emails pertaining to this because more than a few of us are fed up with his behavior. It's frightening to think that one day I may not be able to scan in because my membership was deactivated because I work out with a group of guys and he "assumes" I'm training someone. Not sure if this is something that you will address but I sincerely hope that you do. BODY SHAMING and RACIAL PREJUDICE has no place in the gym. Thank you for your time concerning this matter. You have to give 30 days notice, you can only cancel through written notice or calling them. They put you on hold for an hour. Then they send you an email. That email is a link to another website that you have to register to. Then you use that website to cancel. AND YOU HAVE TO PAY A CANCELLATION FEE! Are you joking?!? After years of being a member. A slap in the face.

Good assortment of weight training machines, racks, and free weights. I do wish there was some more room in the free weight/rack area though. There's also a cross fit style open room, but sometimes there are group fitness classes taking up that space. Most of the time the gym equipment is pretty open. Between 5 & 7 or so is the most traffic.

After the introduction class I attempted to sign up and was told a manager was required to complete my registration. I left a note and my information for the manager to reach out the next day. I didn't hear from them. I reached out via text on the same number I previously used to arrange the intro class, no response. I called 2 times a day over the next 2 weeks and no response. I finally received an email response, at 10:30pm from the GM on July 31st stating she would call me the next day at 5pm. I replied at 10:45 agreeing to the time and that call never came on August 1st. I made my final call attempt today and have decided to try the Coppell or Addison locations. This is perhaps the most unprofessional member experience I have had in years.

First time I've been kicked off a machine in 30 years of…read moreworking out in gyms across the world...literally while in the middle of my set by an employee unracking my weights and telling me to get off cause they are moving the exact machine I was currently using,.. I only had two sets left, mind you, and my sweater was on machine, I was getting ready to sit in it and use it, and the employee starts unracking my weights. I said "excuse me, I am using this and he said well we are moving it"! Never ever would this happen at 24 hour fitness or any other commercial big or small private gym. They know how to put their patrons first at those other places. IF he actually was taught to put members first, he would've let me finish the extra three minutes it would have taken me to complete my sets... never going back here. Or they could've put a sign to not use machine, like all other gyms in the world do. I have been a personal trainer all my life and never have I witnessed anything like what happened to me here today. If you're serious about your workouts and your time in the gym, don't bother with this incompetent staff that doesn't know how to put paying members first. What I experienced today is like eating at a restaurant and while you're in the middle of taking a bite of your half eaten burger, the waiter comes to your table and grabs your plate with your fries from underneath you. Who does that? LOL. But that is not the worst of it.. after the manager talks to me, the rude employee that kicked me off my machine (older man) comes over to where I am and rolls his eyes and tells me "get over it"!!! I've never been spoken to so poorly by a grown man. Shame on him for speaking to a lady that way. Zero respect, zero common sense, zero gym etiquette or know how. These people are running a joke of an establishment and their employees know nothing about serious training or why people actually go to the gym and yet they work at a gym.
