The only reason I'm giving a three star rating is because I want the revolving door of failed ventures in this spot to end. I even considered not writing a review, but realized this could (should) be used as constructive criticism. Pros: My nephew liked the child's menu grilled cheese sandwich. He also liked the memes on the walls and had fun reading them. Our order came out very quickly. Cons: The veggie sandwich was drowning in sauce to the point where I couldn't even pick it up with my hands. The veggies were almost unrecognizable smothered in all that sauce. I ended up eating the veggies with a fork and throwing away the soggy bread. The fries were nice and crispy, but so over-salted (and I love salt) that I had to throw them away, so a total waste of money. Considering how salty the fries were, I was confounded by the total lack of salt in the very bland Mac and Cheese. Also, the atmosphere is like a Subway sandwich shop, but worse. I wouldn't mind the super-bright yellow paint, if the lighting wasn't so glaring and overbearing. It's like an operation room. The moment I walked in, I decided to take it To-Go rather than eat in. And the AC either wasn't on, or was broken. I suspect the latter b/c a few weeks ago they weren't even open for breakfast b/c the heat "was broken". And finally, the name is just awful. Even my nephew thought it was a bad decision, and he's 10! It's obviously too late to change it now, but it's definitely not helping the image. Suggestions for the owner: Tone down the lighting. Fix the central air/heat. Hire a cook that understands how to use salt and sauces. Find a different Mac and Cheese recipe. Alton Brown has an excellent recipe on foodnetwork.com. Eliminate the sauce in the veggie sandwich and add more vegetables. I plan on coming back in a few weeks for breakfast, and hope that I'm not as disappointed as I was my first time. read more

Just stopped in after a day at the beach with a 7yr old. Had the burger grilled cheese and fries both excellent (coleslaw was meeh) , kids grilled cheese was great with the Mac and cheese. Nice little place to stop in and eat. Food was hot and pretty quick at coming out. read more

The turkey Reuben was good I would order that again came with fries, the burger Reuben thing we tried was not so good I think it was because we had it on the rye bread and the fennel seeds flavor over powered the sandwich. What a fun and unique restaurant! It's not diet friendly but with cheezee in the name, surely you won't come here for a salad! We were greated by the friendly owner who explained that all of the menu items are on grilled cheese. The menu has LOTS of choices. We had trouble choosing. The TV screen on the wall cycled through pictures of some of the sandwiches. I opted for the French dip. They thinly slice the roast beef themselves. It was tender, tasty and cheesy! The side of freshly fried potato chips were fantastic. I read some of the reviews stating the sandwiches were soggy. My first half wasn't at all. It took me a while to eat it so by the time I got to the second half, the bottom side of the bread that had been laying in the basket was slightly soggy. Nothing terrible but it's nothing more than the physical changes that happen when steam from a hot sandwich gets trapped. My husband had the cheese steak grilled cheese. He raved about it. The Mac and cheese on the side also earned lots of compliments. My daughter chose the pimento Mac and cheese grilled cheese without the pimento. Mac and cheese in a grilled cheese sandwich! She loved it as much as any teen would. She enjoyed the tomato soup on the side. Our bill for the above plus one iced tea and tip was almost $40. It sounded like a lot for 3 people for grilled cheese. We all had good food and more than we could finish. We'll be back after we work off the calories from this trip! read more

Food is portioned well for the prices. The food was pretty good, but there isn't much to order except like 15 different styles of grilled cheese and 4 sides. Easiest rating I ever did. Absolutely Cheezee was as advertised, amazing. We had the Cuban, pizza, grilled cheese original and the special of the day a ham bacon bbq pork with jalapeños. All of them were on white bread and all of them deliciously layered with cheese! Not one bad thing to say about the sandwiches at all! Perfect in every way. Our sides were fries, Mac and cheese and tomato soup. First the soup, if there was anything negative when it came to the food it was the tomato soup. Looked like it was made with real tomatoes. But it was missing something. A little too acidic. Ate it anyway! Lol Now the mac and cheez, awesome! With with white American cheese. My wife has never cared for macaroni and cheese but she's a fan of this one. Our finicky 11yo ate half of mine. French fries were really good. Cooked nicely with good crispness to them. Very good. Drove from West Ormond on another friend's recommendation, and it was worth a bit of a drive. If you are expecting any fluff, this is not the place for you. It is very clean and the decor is very simple, it is counter service and they deliver your order to your table. I had no complaints on my chicken cordon bleu sandwich and my friend had the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and was very happy. The only negative was the coleslaw, it appeared to have sat in the fridge a bit too long. We will be back and recommend to others! read more

This place was exactly what beachside Ormond needed! We have so many great pizza places, it's nice to have a change to something different. I had the Big Cheezee and it was awesome. I wanted to try their fries because they looked good, but went with the "onion petals". Kind of new take on the bloomin'onion but not as greasy. The best part was the chipotle sauce that came with the onion. We will definitely be going back. There are so many great looking things on the menu, I'm just starting from the top and going to work my way down. read more

I think the idea surrounding the restaurant is sound and they should do very well if they keep their pricing reasonable and the quality of the food on par with their grand opening. Hands down the friendliest and most welcoming restaurant I have ever eaten at. We were traveling from Seattle and sat in the restaurant for over a hour after finishing our meal talking to the owner and another couple about everything under the sun!
