Tabulah with iceberg lettuce angle 2
    Marissa A.

So...there was iceberg lettuce in everything. We ordered French fries, lamb gyro, tabulah, and spicy tzasziki sauce. I understand that COVID has put a lot of financial pressures on all of us...but if the plan was to cut costs with iceberg lettuce then they are going overboard. Tabulah is mostly parsley which grows like a weed and is super cheap. Disappointing.

Best lamb plate that I've ever had and their spicy tzatziki sauce was amazing as well. Service (from who I assume to be the owner) was extremely friendly and prompt. A+

Super friendly family business. $5.95 for the Lamb Gyro. Had that and the lamb gyro plate. With Lebanese Fries. Best fries anywhere. They offer window service or you can eat it inside.

The food is good, but the owner at the window is rude. Not a good way to be with your customers even if you're having a bad day.

For sure the best Lebanese food in Hillsboro, maybe the best in all of Oregon!…read more I've had Falafel in many restaurants surrounding Portland and this is the best by far. Very moist, tender and loads of flavor, unlike most places that serve it drier than a week old biscuit. Their Hummus is creamy and delicious. The best I've had anywhere and it comes with a huge piece of flatbread. The rice was light and fluffy, steamed to perfection. Atmosphere is warm, cozy Mediteranian; service was fast and attentive; food was abundant and delicious; prices are fair and very reasonable. Seriously nothing not to love about this amazing restaurant! My only complaint is their takeout boxes are made of single-use plastic.

A Stunning Mediterranean Escape! If you're in Beaverton and…read morelooking for an authentic, high-quality Lebanese meal, Oasis Lebanese Cuisine (located in the Murray Scholls Town Center) is a total standout. It's rare to find a place that nails the "hidden gem" feel while providing such a polished, upscale atmosphere. Here is why Oasis is my absolute favorite: The Ambiance: The interior is beautiful and incredibly unique. They have these cozy, fabric-tented booths that make your meal feel private and intimate--perfect for a date night or a long catch-up with friends. It truly feels like an "oasis" once you step inside. The Mezza Plate Sampler: If it's your first time, you must order this. It's the best way to try a bit of everything--the hummus is velvety, the baba ghanouj has that perfect smoky char, and the falafel is served hot and crispy. The Lamb Shank: This is the ultimate comfort food. The meat literally falls off the bone and is seasoned with a blend of Middle Eastern spices that are aromatic but not overwhelming. Pair it with their basmati rice, and you're in heaven. Specialty Drinks: Their Rose Water Lemonade is life-changing--so refreshing and not too sweet. If you're a coffee lover, the Turkish Coffee is the perfect way to end the meal. The Experience: On Friday and Saturday nights, they often have belly dancing performances, which adds such a vibrant, cultural energy to the room. It makes the whole night feel like an event rather than just a dinner. Exceptional Service: The staff here is so welcoming and fast. Even when the restaurant is full, they are incredibly attentive and happy to explain the menu or accommodate dietary needs (lots of great gluten-free and vegan options!). Pro Tip: If you like a little heat, ask for their spicy garlic sauce. It's addictive and goes well with just about everything on the menu. Whether you're a local or just passing through Beaverton, Oasis is a must-visit. You'll come for the food, but you'll stay for the incredible vibes!

Today, my sister and I went to the art store around the corner. After we finished shopping, she mentioned she was hungry. I told her Karam's is around the corner. It was the first time I dined in. What I liked is that you order and pay at the counter. My sister and I ordered and paid separately. I knew what I wanted and the guy at the counter pointed out that they had exactly what I wanted. I wanted falafel over salad with tahini sauce. There was also a lemon dressing. It was vegan and gluten free. The falafels were huge and tasty..some of the best falafels I've had! My sister got a beet salad, lentil soup and coffee. She liked everything she got. I took a taste of her lentil soup, it was good. She took a taste of my falafel. She liked it so much that she got an order of just falafels to go! Most of the chairs in the restaurant were hard wood or metal. I found a couple that were padded. I require padded chairs in my old age..so appreciate that was available! Definitely will be back!

There were a couple of employees present and they said hello but that was pretty much it. So I'll just get straight to the point. The food wasn't the best. First, it was overpriced. Second, the lamb was very fatty. Honestly, it's almost like it was scrap meat. The pita tasted underdone and lastly, the Fattoush was off (the lettuce was warm in an old way, if that makes sense, and they completely forgot the pita chips that's supposed to come with it). I don't mean to be so harsh but I'm from Los Angeles so I know what good Mediterranean food should taste like. And maybe it's unfair to even compare... but I feel it's the best and only way to gauge how good a place is, and unfortunately, this place wasn't it. Honestly, the only thing I liked was the basmati rice and the fact that they serve Coca-Cola products. Other than that, I can't recommend this place. Sorry...

Gyro included the highest quality (and variety) of ingredients -- prepared and presented in a "tasteful" and beyond delicious way. I'm typically a "purest" with Chicago's gryo being the standard. Shockingly, for me to admit, these gyros are simply amazing. Each bite is savory, tangy, crunchy, refreshing, filled with textures and hitting notes I wasn't expecting. I am swooning! Sadly, we live NE and don't get to the far west side of town often. However we ARE planning a return trip soon. I want to mention they offer bulgogi (which my husband loved) and options Sharma, too. Rather than a sandwich, any meat can be ordered as a salad or rice bowl. Seated patrons were eating ALL of the menu options. Fries are crispy and can be topped with any combination--or LOADED with all of it. Many canned and bottled beverages (and Coke a Cola on tap) are available: cider and sofa (pop for us Midwesterners). The staff was super helpful and retrieved every beverage from the frig for the patrons, delivered meals and provided extra napkins spontaneously. Thus is an amazing place for lunch or dinner. The shop is small but has adequate tables which handled the lunch crowd well. They close for couple hours at 1430-smart business sense. Naturally carry out is available. We'll be back in a few weeks!
