Great tacos and I liked the options on the salsa bar. The chips and guac were great. To my taste they all needed a little salt but that is common now a days

Fire Tacos and cold beer for a very reasonable price has me doing a happy dance. Get the Al Pastor it was the BEST :)

Quesabirria tacos (comes in order of 3), delicious!

Delicious! Had some quesabirria tacos plus an order of tacos with carnitas/birria/Al pastor. Everything was really good, the birria was definitely our favorite. Also a good selection of salsas/sauces to add on. We'll be back!

Good is decent, service depends on who you get. If you have a problem with your food and the woman…read morewho owns it is there she will argue with you and talk down to you. She is very rude and hateful when you tell her something is wrong. Today myself, my husband and son went for a late lunch. I ordered a shrimp chimichanga, husband ordered quesadilla rebozo, son had arroz con pollo. Cheese dip and 3 drinks they charged us more than the menu price amd when we brought it to her attention she basically told us it was her restaurant and she could charge whatever she wants!! I know $12/13 don't seem like much but this is not the first time this has happened. And then to be called a liar on top of it when your menu even says your wrong is ridiculous

You sit down, and boom! Chips and salsa right in front of you. And this salsa? Just the right kick, with chips so perfectly crispy they could start their own ASMR channel. I got the fajita-quesadilla, and let me tell you, it was a masterpiece. Huge, packed with flavor, and loaded with melty queso that could make anything taste amazing. My boyfriend went for the "Burrito El Rebozo," and he found it delicious! He joked that his portion looked like the size of a small child, by comparison to mine, but it was actually just right and hit the spot for him. And the prices? Insanely affordable. We left full and happy without doing any serious damage to our wallets. Bottom line: come hungry, bring your stretchy pants, and let El Rebozo work its magic.

This is one of our favorite stops to visit when we're in town…read more The food is enjoyable and the ambiance is fun and relaxing at the same time. The restaurant was counter service when we visited. This is not a traditional Mexican restaurant where chips are complementary. We enjoyed the curated bowls during this visit. Both were a great substitute from their tacos.

I was a bit leary agreeing to try, but I was actually able to try so many more things than I'd have tried without anyone to ask! And the chef apparently knew, so changes and omissions were made so I was perfectlyvrrelaxed, not worrying. We had some wonderful fruity beverages - they were able to omit the lime on mine. I can't remember how many years it had been since I had a taco before our visit! The restaurant is so airy and roomy, good table spacing... felt like we were the only ones there, but there were many customers, including families. Just all around fun and relaxing. We'll definitely go back. There are more things on the menu we hope to try.

We went in on Friday, November 29, 2024, and my husband and I were not disappointed at all…read more The service was great, and the food was some of the best Mexican cuisine we have ever had. Sadly, it is over an hour and a half drive if we want to return. Alberto, the owner, was very welcoming, along with his servers and bartender. That day, they had a Mariachi band, which was really cool, and the music was great for the ambiance of the place. Alberto told us about his other restaurant, and I would love to go check it out one day as well. We observed him closely as he was speaking to all the patrons like family and was very good at answering any questions. There's a salsa bar that is included in case anyone wants to try their house-made salsas. They start you off with fresh chips and the dip they have. It is honestly the best we have had so far, and my husband loves Mexican cuisine a lot. It's a mix of refried beans with cheese sauce and red sauce. I ordered the Camarones Zarandeados-- Peel-and-eat shrimp, marinated in house seasoning, and garnished with fresh cilantro. Served with rice and corn. Along with a strawberry daiquiri. It was truly a dish I would want to return to eat. The seasoned shrimp were juicy, and I loved peeling them myself and getting messy with the juices. II usually dislike most rice made in restaurants, but this was definitely delicious, and I'd happily eat it again. My husband had a creamy burrito with steak , peppers onions , and olla beans topped with cheese sauce and served with rice , lettuce, and tomatoes on the side. His drink was a Corona margarita. It was a huge portion, and he was full after eating 3/4 of the burrito. It is interesting he said it was his favorite to date as well. We both tried the birria tacos , and OMG, they were so yummy!! The sauce made for them was perfect, and the meat was actually seasoned well. I've had other ones, and well, let's just say they weren't my favorite. We also tried the "paleta" shot. It tasted just like tamarind. That was definitthe order of ely great and refreshing even as a shot. We ended with the Sopapilla for dessert. It was truly a lovely evening with my husband after an almost 2-hour drive to Asheville, and I am eager to go back for the great food and ambiance. If you want great-quality food with a definitely great price tag, go visit La Cabana Mexican Grill.
