Excellent tender, crispy tacos! I had a shrimp taco (with crema) and a delicious beef taco. I highly recommend Anuelito's!

Ok, this is where I'll grab some food. Popped in and was quickly greeted, as I looked over the menu at the counter the girl stepped up and asked if she could help me, she gave me a few recommendations. I went with a couple different tacos, a pork tamale and a bag of chips. I have to apologize, I almost always take pictures of the food before shoveling it into my mouth, but I was hungry and this looked delicious. I pictures. The reviews weee unquestionably correct and this place is incredible. My favorite (which was difficult to pick just one) was the Campechano taco...the flavor was out of this world. I had a steak taco and the pork tamale...absolutely incredible. I hate to rave about something without some sort of criticism...nothing can be perfect right? Well, the food was spot on, don't change a thing. My only small poke would have been that the bottled Coke was cold, but not ice cold...and if that's the most negative thing you can say, well then...this place is a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend...I just wish I lived in the area to enjoy it more often! Tampa, you're lucky to have a place this great!

Great tacos al pastor and carne asada. Fresh and tasty. Tortilla tastes fresh made, too.read more

The flavor was outstanding, the guacamole was absolutely delicious, and the churros are the best churros have ever had, and I make it a priority to order churros at every Mexican restaurant I go to! For my meal, I had one carnitas, one shrimp, and one carne asada taco. The carnitas were my favorite, followed closely by the shrimp. The carne asada was flavorful too, just a little oily, which was easily fixed with a quick dab of my napkin. My boyfriend ordered the Skillet Rancheros with chicken and shrimp, plus a chicken taco, and loved everything. The skillet reminded us of a unique twist on fajitas and was packed with flavor. The homemade tortillas really stood out--you can tell everything here is made with care. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, the restaurant was spotless (even the bathrooms!), and the dining room was bright, welcoming, and adorable. They also have a great drink selection, including beer, seltzers, margaritas, and sangria, which we'll definitely be back to try. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. I can't recommend this place enough!

Taco Esther's is your average Mexican semi fast food place. I went on a Saturday at lunch time,…read moreand while there were just few people eating in, there was a steady crowd of people picking up to-go orders. Inside had plenty of available tables if you choose to eat there. The only menu they have is on the wall behind the register; see picture for how hard it was to read. I went for the burrito combo; a smaller burrito, but served with rice and beans. I added shrimp, knowing it would be an additional upcharge, although I did have a debate with the server about why there would be TWO upcharges for shrimp. Food took about 15 minutes, so call ahead if you order here. You could see that there were only 2 people in the back doing the cooking. My burrito was fine, and it did have a lot of filling in it, but it just did not actually have much flavor. The shrimp had actually zero taste, and was so pale you could see there was no seasoning on it. Weird. In hindsight, I bet I would have liked the birria tacos more. Thankfully they provided one red hot sauce and one green hot sauce (no, you can't have two of each), and that helped to jazz the rice and beans up too.
