Phenomenal sushi. Loved the unique rolls we ordered -- I yam what I yam and the Aztec roll. Best sweet potato roll I've ever had. And loved the chimichurri with the Mexican influence for the Aztec roll. The manhattan roll was typical and nothing extraordinary. But wow, loved this place!

Great service but I thought some of the rolls were just okay. Decent sushi. The rice didn't feel authentic.

Dinner here was delicious. We sat outside since we had a pupparoo. Staff were welcoming of dogs and even had a dog menu. We got 4 different rolls and each one was delish!

First if you love sake and whiskey this place has a TON of them... so much so they use a little tablet in order to show everything which is pretty cool and handy. We sat at the outdoor area which is covered and also has cool water misters if its super hot out. The sushi came out looking pretty good and tasted excellent. Staff was super friendly and always busy doing something. It is right on a busy corner so if you are outside be prepared for it to be alot more noisy depending on the crowd downtown at the time you go.

My December birthday lunch served to be excellent with a few great friends! This place is a gem! We were immediately greeted by the hostess and the sushi bar chefs. Yummy cocktails. Very friendly and helpful service- we enjoyed some of the suggestions shared. Fun atmosphere with creative and local takes on Japanese cuisine.

Pisces is one of my favorite local places since I've moved here. The food and service is always awesome! The lunch and happy hour specials are great. Drinks are good also! My favorite servers are usually Drew, Monica and Millie! I frequently go with my friends and we always take our family there when they're visiting ! Keep being amazing y'all also the patio seating is very cute and casual but inside is even more beautiful !

White sangria. Zero alcohol during happy hour when they are only $5, but I wouldn't order again.

Sushi here is really good, especially on Monday's when a plethora of rolls are just $5 all day. The volcano roll (see picture) is part of happy hour pricing but was a few dollars more and nicely done. Also tried the crusty salmon roll (good but needs a sauce on it) and spring rolls (you get three; also good and $5 during happy hour and all day Monday). Wait staff is good and friendly. The bar tender knows her customers and made good recommendations. One star off for crappy cocktails. The cucumber cooler is tasty (if you like pureed cucumber) but the bar tender didn't ask if we wanted vodka or gin (an option on the menu), but it really didn't matter because there was sadly just a drip of vodka in the drink. Although this one is part of happy hour pricing this was a bit disappointing. On recommendation I tried their white sangria. The presentation is perfect with both a cherry and orange slice, but again almost zero alcohol. Ambiance is good. The bar has two TVs, one showed sports the other the food channel. Bathrooms were clean. There was zero wait on Monday evening in March. One of my friends comes here often and loves the sushi. I agree... During happy hour probably stick to drinks where alcohol content is known, like house wine.

We had Steak tips (churrasco?) in plantain cups and they were so flavorful and tender. Plantains were crispy. The cheese (feta?) complemented the dish well. I had Mexican roll and was apprehensive about the Panko crust instead of tempura but it kept the roll crispy and I liked that! The everything bagel roll was also perfect.

The food always delicious and the presentation was lovely! I appreciate a well plated meal. I feel likenit really elevates the experience. We had a fun girls night here. Our server was awesome. Attentive but not annoying. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you are in the area.

AMAZING DEAL ALERT! We always go to Pisces when we are in town. Today was overcast and gloomy, so we decided sushi was the answer. Indeed it was! The lunch special is phenomenal! For $12 for 2 items off of the lunch menu. We both got a full sized roll and paid a $2 up charge for the wasabi Caesar salad. (It's a MUST HAVE- I'm not playing around people!!) Vinnie was our server and he was knowledgeable and warm. The one was great, the lunch crowd was bustling, it was just what we needed! Another awesome visit!

This place is very nice, super cute and clean. Over all I would say a good restaurant. The food was just not anything amazing, it was definitely more of a presentation over taste kinda situation. Not to say anything tastes bad but it wasn't anything special. The service is what made it great in the end. Our server was very attentive and just over all amazing at his job. The bill wasn't bad either so I would recommend this place, just thought it was going to be a bit more impressive.

The best sushi I have ever had anywhere. They have been so consistently good at this for almost a decade. They have something for everyone.

I grew up in the Midwest, with a typical "meat and potatoes" diet. On the rare occasion that…read moreseafood was on the menu, it was typically a frozen variety like Groton's, or the occasional fish fry at the Elk's Club. That's changed since moving to the Gulf Coast of Florida, where the fish at the local restaurant today was probably swimming yesterday. My "go-to" seafood now is a grouper sandwich which I order blackened but NOT fried. I've sampled grouper sandwiches from many local dining establishments, but my favorite is from "Carvor's Fish House" A couple of important notes: 1) Carvor's is only open for LUNCH. Their hours vary, so you'll want to check the website, but they typically close at FIVE PM, with the last order accepted at FOUR PM. 2) Carvor's has NO inside dining The patio is tree-shaded with extra umbrellas but if it's really hot, you may be uncomfortable. 3) Carvor's has COUNTER SERVICE. You go inside, order your food and THEN go back outside and select a table. When your food is ready, a server will bring it to your table. 4) This is downtown Dunedin, and parking can occasionally be a challenge on Douglas Street, but FREE parking is available in the city parking garage across the street. Pictured is my "blackened grouper" sandwich. A refreshing change from the usual French fries is their homemade chilled tomato, cucumber and onion salad. Delish!

The next time, we went for lunch and they were out of some things that we initially ordered, but we ended up with a heating plate of fried things that kind of felt like bar food. It is a cute spot and I would probably try it again. I just did not think it lived anywhere near up to the hype that most locals give it.

My husband had the soup, I can't remember the name but one they always have, and it was so delicious. I had the tomato salad and it was perfect. The dressing served with the tomato salad was so good. The fish and chips that were so good have been off-tasting the last couple of times. And the chips have been soggy because they put the fish on top of it. Furthermore, the last time we were there, our server who was excellent, misunderstood and brought us one order each of two different kinds of peel and eat shrimp. My Husband didn't want to say anything so we just had to suck it up and pay for it. Which that is our fault for not mentioning anything, but the one variety tasted like chemicals. It was so bad neither of us could even eat one whole one out of the batch. This does not mean that I'm writing the place off, because even at that last meal that was so disappointing, another couple who was with us loved their meals. I will go again, and I will get one of those probably. Because the service there is really great and our first few visits were stellar. Maybe there has just been a change lately that has put them in a temporary slump, or maybe we just happen to get unlucky three times in a row.

The chicken Marsala needs improvement, the sauce didn't have great flavor and the chicken was not seasoned well. Using large (maybe portobello?) mushrooms provides a weird texture to the dish. On the other hand, when you cut into the Pork Chop, the heavens may part and angels sing. This chop is magnificent!!! We ordered on Wednesday night which offers a special Italian preparation with a tomato reduction sauce. The pork itself is so tender you can cut it with a fork. It melts in your mouth. GO for the pork chop! It's marvelous.

My Brother lives in St Pete and takes our Mom to eat there or calls in for take-out at least 2-3 times per month. We arrived tonight (Thursday) around 7:45 PM to bypass the dinner rush. Walking in to be seated, I noticed several empty tables that had not yet been cleared with several people waiting outside to be seated. I was told "there will be at least a 10-15 minute wait, to give my name, and to wait outside." I thought maybe there were enough people waiting already to take up the empty tables, but that wasn't the case. We sat outside in the cold waiting and watching the guy stand at the bar doing nothing to help bus the empty tables, some of which were right by the window. After 15 minutes or more, we were finally called in last walking by the same uncleared tables, led to another table as the table cloth was being placed on it, no menus, no apology for the extra long (unnecessary) wait outside in the cold. When we finally placed our order, we waited some more. Finally our server said "there was a mix up and our order had not gone through." When Mom's favorite seared salmon finally arrived, it was dry and overcooked. I have never written a bad review on Yelp in my life. But, I hated to see my precious Mom & Brother treated this way. Loyal customers should not be taken for granted.
