Anthony contacted me mid afternoon yesterday (Thursday) and told me he could have a technician out Friday morning to repair my Samsung Dryer (it had no heat). I'm glad I didn't see the hate posts here before I contacted AC Appliance. My dryer wouldn't dry. I left a message after they closed last night, I had a call at 8:30 this morning. They had an opening for 2-4 this afternoon. I agreed and got a call from Anthony at about 2:45 that he was on his way. He arrived and quickly found the problem. Feathers from an old comforter had escaped the lint screen and filled the whole under workings and jammed the ventilation. The mess got a bit toasty and a fail-safe device shut down the heat when in reach 180 degrees. Thanks Whirlpool. Much better than a fire! Anyway, Anthony said he had the part and could fix it all in 20 minutes for $145. I jumped on it. He did the work and vacuumed all the feathers away. He gave me some tips on keeping the vent clean. I paid him and he gave me his card. To that point I didn't realize they did Air Conditioning too. I told him I needed a rooftop swamp cooler winterized. At first he told me I could call the office to schedule that. Then he asked would I like it done today. Well, yes. He made a call to the people at the next job to revise is arrival time. (Thanks next job people for letting me inconveince you another 20 minutes. He did the winterize thing and noted some problems he saw that should be addressed before starting it up next year. We settled accounts and he was off. We are doing laundry again and plan to have AC Appliance back in the Spring to get us ready for Summer. I see others have jumped on Anthony for customer service issues. I didn't experience that. But I did get a knowledgeable repair man and a couple of appliances serviced for reasonable prices. read more

BEWARE !!!!! They came out & told us we needed a part that wasn't in inventory and needed a $50 deposit to order the part. Every couple weeks we called to ask about the status of the part. Fast forward 4 months. I called, asked about the part. They started lying saying that we hadn't called them, which truthfully isn't our responsibility anyway, but we had. Then they said we never gave them any money, then they said, then they said, then they said. Needless to say we still haven't gotten anything fixed. When other repair people in the area wouldn't even work on a Samsung dishwasher or recommended I pay them to pick up and install a brand new dishwasher before even coming and looking at mine, AC Appliance was reassuring. They're certified for Samsung and sent a guy out who showed up when he said he would and texted when he was on his way. He identified the problem in short order, fixed it, and left me with a running dishwasher for only $89. Highly recommend AC Appliance. He took a deposit to lock in the order and sent out to get the parts. They called when the parts came in to schedule the appointment to fix the appliance. Derek came and fixed easily and quickly. I worked with the this company before and I was happy about it. Then I had other problem with my fryer, Antony told me, he needs to change the thermostat and the part price was $189 + tax. I showed him the same part cheaper, it was $60. Same part. He said, I can't lower the price or I can't do service if you don't buy the part from me. His company os trying to sell the same part more then 3 times what it is selling and he didn't even want to call the company and ask what is going on why we are charging more then 3 times then other part suppliers. I reco.mend before you change your part with them, ask the part number and search it. You may charged triple then supposed to be. read more

We hired AC Appliance to repair our microwave. The first appointment they were two hours late. They said we needed a new magnatron and diode and the part needed to be ordered. When the parts finally came in they made an appointment to install them and they didn't show up. We rescheduled and the parts were installed. Less than two months later the same problem occurred. The parts were replaced and six weeks later the same problem. Now they say it is something else and wants to charge us for the new part and another service call. Since we had already spent over three hundred dollars we told them to leave. So, in summary, there were five visits all of which were either no shows that had to be rescheduled or two to three hours late. We had spent over $300 dollars and no working microwave. I really appreciate these guys service. At 10 til noon I called them about my refrigerator. Before 1pm came around they were done and gone. They fixed the issue, explained how to help keeping it from happening again and cleaned up the mess. They warranted the part and service for 1 year as well. I had a problem with my Maytag Neptune washing machine. I called AC- Appliance and explained the problem. Anthony was able to do a bit of troubleshooting over the phone, told me what the problem was, and told me how much the part and repair would cost. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my entire life! I dealt with Anthony. He didn't show up when he was scheduled to come out and give a quote. He called 6 hours later and apologized and asked if he can come back out. I said sure and scheduled for him to come the next week. This is a quote for a big commercial job btw. Big job, big money. He shows up late again and expresses that he is upset that someone else was here to give a quote. I explained that we are getting multiple quotes and the only reason they were here at the same time is because he was late and that was after not even showing up on the original day he was scheduled to come out. He then told me I was being rude. He seems to either be on drugs or have some kind of disability. This company needs to be aware. He just lost them a lot of money. read more

Waited weeks to get an appointment because supposedly for the time I wanted they were busy. When the day finally arrived, the man lied and said he could not find my information, that the Home Warranty company had taken my information out of his system and other ridiculous lies. Our dog chewed through the wires on our Air Conditioner so we called these guys. They did fix the problem but they were fairly expensive. However, they did offer a year long warranty for parts and labor. I just think $85 for labor is a bit pricey. read more

if I could give this company negative starship would. The only reason I contacted this company is because the reality company I rent from goes to them for ac repairs for some reason. I made an appointment for a Friday to have my ac looked at. Well when the appointment time came the guy named Anthony didn't show up because he called me when I was at work and couldn't pick up the phone. There was someone at my place waiting for him to show up and he never did. I called him to see where he was and he said because I didn't pick up the phone it was a missed appointment and he would call back in 20 minuets to make another appointment. Well he never called back and I left them 3 voicemails to try and make another appointment. I never heard from them and my landlord ended up getting ahold of anthony and he lied to my landlord and made it look like it was my fault for the missed appointment. After three different appliance repair companies didn't return my calls, and I'd piled two stacks of dirty laundry into the back of the truck for the laundromat, AC called me back immediately after I applied online with HomeAdvisor for help. They have an Apple Valley number but I was assured they work up the Hill in Running Springs. And they do. I got an appointment the same day, from their customer service rep. Amazingly, there was a real person answering the phone. They sent Derek. Derek not only bought tire chains to make it uphill in the snow, he fixed my LG washing machine in less than an hour, and then gave me and my husband a short class on how to keep the drain pipe clear, balance the loads, and avoid having to call him back for THAT problem again. I highly recommend this company. Pricing was competitive, (according to one company I'd called down the hill who said I was outside their service area) but worth every penny. read more

Called AC Appliance for washing machine that was not powering. Anthony came the next day to check it out. After running diagnostics on the washer he found that the main board was beginning to fail. He had the replacement part in hand but didn't feel comfortable switching it out as he said we have some life left in the main board. Anthony was honest and didn't try to push parts and labor on us that we didn't need. Now that's a service repairman you can trust!
