Recently, I've been craving an acai bowl and this was the closest one to where I live and honestly it was delectable. However; the service was not the best and to standards especially since I myself work in the food industry. I was welcomed in and was expecting to order and make conversation with the workers and was pointed to a large screen to order my bowl. The interface isn't too confusing if used others previously but it wasn't what I wanted to my standards of ordering. Another thing I'd like to mention is the acai base puree, I was not expecting there to be banana in the base since I have been to previous places that do not put other fruits into the base. I do have a mild allergy to certain fruits and after taking a few bites I realized that it started to taste like banana and I just ended up with a stomach ache and bloating. I'm pretty disappointed with the service and lack of interaction when it comes to helping customers. I also believe that the pricing is a bit much for what I got since I got a mini bowl which ended up being $12. Service: 1/10 since it was a robot and was just greeted and pointed to a screen Taste: 4/10 it was good overall besides the banana allergy and banana included in the base Overall: 2/10 I feel like there should be more interactions with customers especially for first time customers along with better service overall. read more

REALLY pains me to submit this. First off, I LOVE their Acai bowls and the workers are always nice. I order delivery often and I get the exact same thing each time often ordering two so I can eat it twice that day or on the next day. Recently so many of my online orders were wrong. I only have 2 requests. Sub blueb for the strawb and granola on the side (so I can eat them later and not right away). 2 recent orders were made wrong but I said to myself "whatever mistakes happen" but it happened again and again even missing the empanada style food I ordered twice. So I decided to come onsite today instead since I never had issues before. But to my surprise it was incorrect again. See picture. No blueb that were subbed in and no mangoes. I LOVE this place but there has just been a lack of attention recently so I've decided to no longer order here. I really hope this changes in the future though! read more

I stopped by this Acai Republic location for the first time on Saturday, February 11, 2023. One of my best friends, former UFC Straw weight Champion Carla Esparza, partnered with the owners of this location to host a "meet n greet" autograph signing event so I came out to support her and the owners of this franchise location. Acai Republic is franchise chain that serves acai bowls, smoothies, juices, and other traditional Brazilian snack foods. There are over a dozen locations in Southern California (OC, IE, and coming soon LA) and growing. This Acai Republic is located off Chapman Blvd exit / 57 freeway. I missed the exit off the 57 from the 5 North ; it's literally the first exit off the 57. You might be wondering what is "acai?" Originating in Brazil, the acai bowl is made of frozen acai palm fruit that is pureed and can be served as a smoothie or as a bowl. Acai berries are loaded with powerful plant compounds that act as antioxidants and could have benefits for your brain, heart and overall health. I ordered a small "The Real Brazilian" which blends acai, banana, strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and guarana topped with granola, blueberry and banana. Be forewarned, it's really pricey. The small bowl cost almost $13. It's something that I would treat myself to every once in a while. My bowl was really flavorful and prepared fresh-to-order. You can tell the staff and owners here really care about their products and want to ensure the best customer service. The place is clean and spotless. There's limited parking in the shared plaza. I do not recommend anyone to come here if they want good service. I've been too many great juice shops and this is by far the worst I've been to. The drink tastes water down and plain and I went in and told the girl and she said she was going to call her manager she went to the back for 20 seconds and said she called him and he said there's nothing they can do about it, she said I can't have a refund nor can she remake me the drink because "she can't be giving free things away " she said it's healthy and not they're problem if I didn't like the flavor read more

Placed an online order for pick up, I get home 10 min later and my bowl is not even full, the coconut that's it's supposed to have is no where to be found, and no honey either when I specified I wanted honey! This was a 3 bowl order and the other 2 were fuller however the acai was literally melting and I literally picked up at 11:59 and got home at 12:10 so not sure how they could have melted so quickly. I called the location to let them know and there is no way to get in contact with them unless you email them, keep in mind there was no one in the location when I arrived or any other clients waiting to pick up or order.
