Protein waffle, chili sandia, and protein coffee

This is such a great idea for a business! The guy that helped us explained everything since it was our first time visiting. He was very kind & super helpful! We got the chili sandia, the protein coffee, and the protein waffle and they were amazing! So delicious! Will definitely be coming back

They got bought out years ago & cut my sandwich from the menu. Had to get a chicken bacon ranch club on a waffle & hold the ranch. It was a far cry from that & tasted like Carl's Jr. (who also cut my favorite bbq chicken salad from their menu). Everything is more unhealthy & focused on cutting costs. Every time a restaurant gets bought out, it changes for the worse. The whole world has as every year goes by & especially since the Pandemic. I cud go on forever about this. But no one cares. I can't find anything I love anywhere anymore. I spend countless hours in an endless search for quality stuff that's got something sort of close to what I'm looking for and it's always a struggle trying to adjust & having to ask if they can do what they used to. The answer is usually no & if they even offer to try it's never as good as it used to be. Definitely not worth $30 for a chicken waffle sang & a shake. The cookies & cream was too heavy on the cream, so it just tasted like an inside of an oreo, which isn't my preference/balanced, & they put whipped cream, even tho she asked & I said no whip. The girl walked away right after I got to the takeout counter. So I waited until she came out with a bag of trash & there was no sorry/thanks for waiting. She saw me waiting & just said "Pick up order" & when she brought my shake I said it's not supposed to have whip. I said "This is mine?" She said "Yeah." Again, no sorry & I said "I guess I'll just have to scrape it off. Ok thanks." Happens every time, so I just expect it. I used to work at this mall for over 10 years about 13 years ago & every single thing has changed. Haven't heard of any of the stores except the staples. Felt like I was on another planet. Don't understand how they have a fancy-ish restaurant in a place with such high rent. I don't get it. Super disappointed & now I know it's not worth my time, money, energy, & gas! Miss the old Bruxie once again. Don't know why I even bothered. Just going to have to recreate the sang myself if I ever want it again, which wud be a huge pain. Every single thing is like this. This world seriously sucks. Not a fan.

The blueberry latte was really good. Everything we tried was excellent. Hokkaido milk bread french toast, loaded potatoes, chilaquiles, smoked brisket poutine scramble, steak & eggs, brunch burrito, chicken & sourdough pancakes. There wasn't a bad dish. I loved the over easy eggs, and the fried chicken was really good. It was juicy, which is exactly how fried chicken should be. I think I would've enjoyed the pancakes more if the syrup had tasted better. It had a bit of an odd aftertaste that I wasn't a fan of, and it kind of took away from the overall dish. 6/10 Service - Initially I was like wow, these young guys serving were so kind and upbeat! Everyone seemed friendly and it made a great first impression. But as time went on, I wasn't very happy with the service I received. I asked 3 different people for a slice of lemon for my water and never got it. I also asked 2 different people for a little cup to pour my syrup into and never received that either. At that point I was getting pretty fed up, so I finally got up and went directly to someone. I told them I had been asking multiple people for both items and no one had brought them over. It was frustrating because these were such simple requests, and I shouldn't have had to get up and track someone down just to get what I needed. The staff was definitely friendly, but the follow through just wasn't there during my visit. Cost - $25.00

Finally a couple weeks go by and we get there with the line not too busy so we wait for about 20 mins in line with only 5 people ahead of us which I felt was a bit crazy but we're already here. Finally we order and get a breakfast burrito and a torta to eat in totaling out to 35$ just between those two items, but hey if it's good who cares right. We notice that there is no assigned seating and we're told to grab a seat where ever we liked so we go to the only table available inside about 10 mins after sitting and waiting for our food one of the waiters comes up to us and tells us we can't sit at the table because it's meant for a bigger party and that there is a table all the way in the back next to the restrooms that we need to move to because they need to save this table in case a big party comes in. I told her that these were the only seats available when we got here and i'd have no problem moving if a bigger party came through however there wasn't anybody waiting in line or ordering so we were gonna continue to wait here. the waitress proceeded to tell me that she doesn't know how else to say this but we aren't allowed to sit there, and we just exchange awkward silence. she gave up after about a minute of telling us to go to the back of the restaurant. All this could be overlooked if the food was amazing so i was really hoping it would be good and then finally after about 16 mins of waiting and being told to move by staff the food comes out. the waiter drops my plate so that it clatters as it hits the table and the nail in the coffin is that the food was honestly borderline bad, burrito lacked seasoning but was smothered in salsa to attempt to hide its mediocrity, it came with two more salsas on the side and chips but the chips were cold and stale unsure if they just gave me old chips because they were upset with me not moving to the back for them or if their chips are always that stale and unsalted. won't be making a return save urself the money and go try any other Mexican place their food will be better and cheaper.

Before arriving, we looked at the menu on their website so we could decide what to order. To our surprise, the online menu was inaccurate, and they had completely removed their kids' menu without updating their website. I ended up having to order something different than what I had my heart set on--the avocado toast with steak. Instead, our server recommended the huevos divorciados, while my daughter was left with the only "kid-friendly" option: a plain waffle. My husband ordered the birria omelet, which was described as being topped with pork rinds. There was literally one tiny piece on the entire dish. Thankfully, the birria itself was flavorful, but the presentation definitely missed the mark. My huevos divorciados were served cold, while the potatoes on the plate were piping hot. That made it seem like my food had been sitting for a while before the plate was finished and served. Overall, I was truly disappointed with our experience and won't be returning. To make matters worse, the incorrect menus are still posted on their website, which sets customers up with expectations that aren't met.

The cream has actual flavor and is very sweet, it mixed with the strength of the ladyfingers giving it a perfect balance of flavors and for me is the pinnacle of tiramisu. I'd found this restaurant on Yelp and convinced the others to join me in checking it out. It's a relaxed spot where you order at the register, receive a number, and then find your own seat. I usually feel rushed making menu choices when there's a line behind me, but this time, we were the only ones waiting, and the kids quickly decided on their breakfasts. Finding a table for four was effortless. The cashier was neutral--neither especially friendly nor rude, simply efficient at her job. My man really enjoyed his coffee, and I liked mine too, though I can't quite remember which kind of latte I ordered. We shared a Salmon Eggs Benedict--a perfect combination of poached egg, creamy hollandaise, and smoked lox. Delicious! My daughter ordered the kids' pancake with egg and bacon and said it was good. My partner's daughter opted for a huge breakfast burrito with chorizo--she liked it, but couldn't finish the generous portion. It was the perfect way to enjoy our final breakfast in Irvine.

Plenty of parking, decent service although busy, would be back to try more of their options. This time around we ordered: - Breakfast Burrito (4/5): huge portion for price, loved the flavors and how cheesy this was; wish the salsa did a better job at adding spice and cutting through the heaviness of the dish but the pico de Gallo in the burrito helped with that - Fried chicken sandwich (4/5): Pretty sizable and filling sandwich. Chicken is fried well and juicy. While there was slaw in the sandwich to add some extra tang it should have been complemented with a sauce to make it a little less dry. Got this with fruit on the side which helped balance out the sandwich.
