Great tacos and service! The asada was so yummy and the taco size was not too big or too small.

Since moving to Texas, and specifically this area, I really hadn't found any worthwhile…read morebreakfast/brunch places....until now. The Brunch Spot had been on my bookmarked breakfast places to try. As luck would have it, we were in the area, and just happened to be hungry. It was a Monday morning, around 10ish, and this place was poppin'! Lol, like do people not have jobs?! But I digress...back to the review. We were greeted by Jocelyn, who also ended up being our server as well. She was AMAZING! We perused the menu and everything sounded delicious. I decided on the Waffle Plate, because a Belgian waffle sounded really good. My better half ordered the French Toast Plate. The food came out pretty quick. However, my order was missing the waffle, which I mentioned. Apparently, there was a misunderstanding in what I ordered. Jocelyn took care of it immediately, and apologized and assured me that she would bring out the waffle at no charge. That's great customer service! It ended up being a happy accident though, because I loved what I received. I guess it was a sausage platter, which had my favorite type of link sausage. So, it's definitely going to be my go-to order every time! We are definitely coming back, on a regular basis. The French Toast Plate was also very good. As was the Kool-Aid, and the Caramel Iced Coffee. If there is ever Kool-Aid on a menu, I'm always going to order it! And this Kool-Aid did not miss. It was diabebes sweet, just the way I like it! Overall, it's a really cool place, and my favorite breakfast/brunch spot now. It's nice and tidy inside, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Lol, my only gripe was the parking. But, I would gladly park somewhere else and walk here, because it's definitely worth it.

The building is easy to find, situated next to Randolph Dental and across the street from Take 5 Oil Change. Parking is straightforward. The restaurant shares an outdoor lot with several neighboring businesses, and there was plenty of parking directly in front, including clearly marked handicapped spaces, plus an additional row across from the restaurant. Inside, the space is open, comfortable, and very clean. The interior seating is well maintained, and staff were consistently attentive to keeping the dining area tidy throughout the visit. The setup feels relaxed and inviting, and it is also nice to see that outdoor seating is available if you prefer fresh air. The food was excellent. I ordered the veggie omelette with added avocado and turkey, which was savory and well balanced. The hash browns were well seasoned with a good pepper profile, and the white chocolate latte stood out in particular. It did not have the artificial syrup aftertaste that is common at many places, which made it especially enjoyable. Service is what truly made the visit stand out. Jacqueline was friendly, attentive, and helpful from start to finish. She checked in at the right moments, answered questions without rushing, and kept everything running smoothly. As a thoughtful bonus, I was also given an extra pastry, which was a pleasant surprise and a great example of genuine hospitality. If you are looking for a casual breakfast or coffee spot with a clean environment, quality food, and staff who clearly care about the customer experience, Biscuit House is well worth a visit. Keep up the great work, Jacqueline and Biscuit House Schertz.

Small, but comfortable place that has a few tables inside and out. Sell coffee and baked goods but also has a nice little breakfast/brunch menu. The owners ran the place and really seemed "happy" to see us, took time to walk us through the menu, offer suggestions, etc. just extremely "comfortable" place to be from the moment we walked through the door. My wife and I always pick two entrees and share. We went with the breakfast sandwich and the biscuits and gravy and we were not disappointed. The house made brioche bun for the sandwich and the biscuits were out-of-this-world delicious. Based on that, I would wager that the other baked goods they had displayed (scones, cinnamon rolls, etc) would have been wonderful! (I'll be back soon to confirm this) Back to the food...the sandwich was very good- egg was perfectly "over hard" and high quality cheese and bacon. The maple-chipotle mayo absolutely made the bite. Next time I will ask for extra, maybe slathered on both halves of the bun. The flavor of that mayo was unlike anything I've tasted- thoroughly enjoyed it and it complimented the overall flavor of the sandwich so well. Delicious!!! As already mentioned the biscuits were outstanding...which is not something that I say lightly. While I will always try biscuits and gravy, I am usually disappointed and it is typically because of biscuits that are too dense and too dry. These were neither- they were incredible and I'm not sure what gave them the touch of "sweet" but that little touch took the flavor of the biscuit over the top for me. Finally, the gravy was perfect from the amount of sausage to the elegant "sage-iness" of the bite. With respect to the quantity of gravy, it is not uncommon for places to not give enough gravy. The ratio of gravy to biscuit must be difficult to master, well they've done it at Northern D'Lights!! Just incredible experience and we will be back, on the regular! Give this place a go...great place!

The positives first: the food was hot, fresh, and clearly made to order, which we always appreciate. The display case was filled with beautiful, tempting desserts that definitely caught our attention. If you have a sweet tooth, that alone might make the stop worthwhile. The breakfast menu leans toward classic, home-style staples--pancakes, hash browns, eggs, sausage--simple and familiar comfort food. While everything was prepared well, nothing particularly stood out or felt unique compared to other traditional breakfast spots. Service during our visit was a bit slow and didn't feel especially warm or attentive. The staff appeared to be family-run, which often adds charm to a place, but we didn't experience the kind of welcoming, lively atmosphere you might expect from a family-style restaurant. It seemed like everyone may have just been having a long day. My husband usually prefers Tex-Mex or breakfast tacos, and since I don't indulge in bacon and eggs very often, I tend to look for a breakfast spot that really wows us when we do go that route. While Williams delivered solid, made-to-order food, it just didn't quite "hit it out of the park" for us this time. That said, every restaurant can have an off morning, and others may have a different experience--especially given the positive reviews that brought us in.
