Thanks to the many reviews on yelp, I found Kim for eyebrow shaping. It was my first time and she walked me through the process. She was so nice and made sure that I was comfortable. She first placed baby oil on my brows (to alleviate some of the pain and exfolation of waxing) then added warm wax with a stick. Then she worked her magic and started waxing. She created a beautiful arch in my shape. At first I wasn't used to it . I had unruly brows and it looks soo clean! My skin is pretty sensitive so she offered up some benadryl. Since my skin is so sensitive, that is probably the reason why my brows were pink for a couple hours. Its calmed down and I love my eyebrows. I've gotten compliments from my wedding makeup artist and the hubs loves it too. I highly recommend Kimberly for eyebrow shaping. read more

Prior to moving, I saw Kim consistently for seven years. Kim truly is THE BEST when it comes to shaping your brows and maintaining them; I never knew one could receive compliments on their eyebrows, but I would often receive compliments on my eyebrows. She is very knowledgeable and makes sure to care for your skin during the waxing process: my skin has never been scratched, scalded, or scarred by Kim. She's very meticulous and a great listener (I'm rather particular about my eyebrows) and I've not once left her chair feeling anything other than ecstatic! I have yet to find anyone that's as good as her, even in Boston. I make it a point to book an appointment with her during my vacations in HI. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the excellent job she does. She's always busy, so book the appointment in advance, but she does try her best to squeeze you in if her schedule allows it. I've been going to Kim since she was at Paul Brown and have religously followed her to two locations. Since I've been going to Kim - I have strayed a few times when she was on vacation or I couldn't get in ----oh the horror. I would get either a straight line ("natural") or super-skinny-borderline-transvestite eyebrows. But Kim has always been able to fix whatever I've done to my eyebrows. Parking: There is a shared lot with the Yakiniku store on the first floor, located behind the building. You most likely won't find parking there during lunch hours, so it'll be street parking. The store: From the outside it doesn't look like much, the building itself can be easily overlooked, and as you can see in the uploaded pic of the door, it's clean and very simple. Then you open the door and it's like ..ta-da~~ so clean! And there's color~! Anyway, girl, you arrive a little early and just chillax on the couch of your choosing, so comfy! Da Experience: Kalei was fantastic, we only talked through text messages, but when I walked in she greeted me very warmly and by name! For you first timers out there, no worries! Kalei is super nice and easily has you feeling comfortable and talking to her like fast friends. I left it up to her, and it's perfect!!! You hear all kine stories about "professionals" ruining the brows, but not here! She gave mine the perfect shape, even advising me a bit on what to keep an eye on. I love that she kept it natural, so I don't need to do all that filling in and whatever else time consuming things us medical students have no time for~ At the end she gives you a little points card, so after so many visits you get $10 off.
