I don't get my brows threaded often. Usually, I come in 1-2 times a year. I always come to Hawaii Threading. Because I do not come in frequently, I typically see anyone who is there (I understand that is my fault, and now I am aware that I shouldn't just go to anyone). However, every time I have been here, I have had wonderful experiences. I came in today to get my brow done before the new year. I went into Hawaii Threading (Keʻeaumoku location) around 2:26 PM. The lady who took me (I didn't get her name because she didn't introduce herself) finished my brows in 5 minutes, and that isn't an exaggeration. When I left, around my brows were very inflamed, which had happened before, so I thought nothing of it. However, I didn't notice until I got home that my brows were extremely uneven. First off, the shape of both brows is different. One of my brows has way more hair than the other but is shorter, and the other is very thin. She did "trim" my brows, but the hairs are uneven. I'm very disappointed with the results and wish I'd gotten her name, because this is unacceptable. read more

I finally got to visit this location! One of the esthetician from Kaneohe told me about the Walmart opening and I thought, what an interesting location. But it didn't bother me at all. It is out in the open right across from the self checkout area. But once you're there, it's a different vibe. You check in with the book, they call you over, and get right to it. I just get my eyebrows cleaned up. Super simple and quick. The esthetician I had was precise and got the job done. I'm very pleased with the result! read more

When I find a GREAT eyebrow threader you better believe I KEEP COMING BACK! I have been going to Ashaia at Keʻeaumoku for I think close to 2 years now. She always asks the right questions, which shows her professionalism. Her skillset is extremely high as every session with her is pain free (that comes with experience!). On top of that, Ashaia is an extreme sweetheart even when I mispronounce her name Whenever I come in to see her I know that in my appointment I am in the best hands possible. I've been here many times not a lot of issues. This time I noticed a couple of new faces not the usual women who have done my eyebrows and different technique like maybe she's newer to threading less of a broad clean sweep that gets all the little hairs. And I didn't notice it when I was double checking just cuz usually I don't have to check for those but she left a bunch of little hairs by my nose and by the tail end and then got some hairs within my tattoo line even after I was explicit about trying to avoid doing that. The place is located inside Walmart, by the entrance/exit, and they except walk ins but I advise scheduling an appointment in advance on their website. I go to Ashaia for threading and I usually get the brow, lip, and chin combo. She is so quick, efficient, & her calm & welcoming demeanor makes it feel like you guys have been long time friends. I've gone to her about 3x now and I always leave happy with her work. Oh and there's a 3% surcharge if you pay with card so bring cash if you want to save a little money (and for tip). read more

So I got a hair cut with Suzy. Super sweet and we had some good conversations, both about hair care and life. I spent about $73 dollars for a hair cut and a scalp massage. I came in with somewhat and idea and was hesitant just because I hadn't gotten my hair done in over 2 year and often just cut it myself due to pricing, however I called her the day before to schedule and she took me in the next day! What I really didn't know I needed was weight taken off, which she talked to me about so that way I could keep not only my length but healthy hair too! She also gave recommendations which I love as I struggle with my hair on most days. I will be going back for a facial as she did offer that! read more

Definitely worth 5 stars! Came in because my usual place I get my eyebrows cleaned recently closed. As a male, it can be uncomfortable going to a place to get your eyebrows threaded so I was a bit uncomfortable obviously going. I came here over the weekend as I want to try this place again. This is my 2nd visit as my first one was "highly unpleasant" as the brow specialist lady failed to listened to what I was asking and basically arched my eyebrows way too high and they were thin after. My eyebrows are naturally thick and I normally just need a "clean up" and no shaping needed as they are in good shape. Fast forward, when I walked in this weekend, I met Annie and she is super sweet, gentle and made my brows to how I wanted them. This brought my confidence back to this place. Went in on a recommendation from a friend to see Suzy. She was super friendly and took time to make sure her procedure was in my best interest. I basically was like yup yup yup but she took time to explain that there is a very specific process she follows and wants to make the experience benefits me. It was really interesting since I thought I was just basically going to get an extreme face wash. She let me know about a ton of skin issues I didn't realize about down to how I go about my daily shaving routine. I work in the Emergency Department as a Provider and also work as an Infection Preventionist and I am on my feet all day, work long hours and feel mentally drained. I need to go back for more treatment. She is really good at feet massage, and I had problems and she fixed everything and it lasted a long time. My skin was glowing. Prices are really reasonable because I feel like these days, an eyebrow thread is minimum $30- here is $22. On top of that, Ashaia does great work, very precise & friendly. Unfortunately, I am not satisfied and happy with the results as well as how the customers get treated in here. I feel because the location is at Walmart, It makes the technician to treat customers as lower class clients who has less expectations. That's why they don't really put that much time and effort to make the clients feel comfortable and relax. Definitely overpriced for what they offer and also the vibe is not really happening in here. The service quality is not their concern since each technician is independent contractor that obviously would not follow the place rules. I would not recommend and support since there is way more option in town with better price and definitely way better service quality. read more

I did a walk-in on Friday morning about right at opening, it has been years since I have done threading because I haven't found a good place and I normally wax my eyebrows due to that issue, but this place hands down is the best brow threading place I have ever been to! I have naturally shaped eyebrows and the girl that did them she just accentuated them even more! I couldn't be more happy with my eyebrows! Won't go anywhere else for brow threading. Maka did a fantastic job working with my face shape and ensuring my brows complement that. She also heard me out in my description of how I like my brows and followed through. The shop is calm and somehow feels separate from the busy Walmart. I went straight to park on the second level near the stairs so I could avoid the constant traffic jam in the first floor parking lot. I stopped waxing my brows over 5 years ago and I refuse to go back to it. Since moving back home from NYC I've struggled (for almost 12 months) to find quality brow threading and I am so happy this location opened up and I met Maka. Brows service is $20 + tip and for shaping that is a fair price! One thing I hope can happen in the future is a clean up price so I can go in every 2 weeks instead of once every 4-6 weeks. But not sure threading is as popular here yet for that to make sense in the business model. Regardless, look no further, this is the go-to spot for brow threading in town imo. read more
