I called him in advance and we talked about how I found him using Groupon. I didn't know about the 3% fee until I got there but luckily I had enough cash with me. I called ahead of time and the technician said it was first come first serve. I arrived at 4:15 and he had me wait 1.5 hours. only to turn me away 5:45 PM. When it was my turn, after having me wait, he asked me if anything was modified. I said my intake was replaced but that I have CARB approved intake in its place (with sticker to show him). This has never been a problem anywhere else. He said sorry but couldn't help me. I asked him why he didn't state this made up policy when I arrived instread of wasting my time? Just performed a smug test and the service was fast and great customer service! Certainly recommend it!

Went in with a coupon for $29.75 to smog my pickup truck. The coupon stated that SUV, trucks, and vans are $5 extra. So with the $8.25 certificate fee, it should have been $43. I showed up and waited about 20 minutes before the staff could see me. I showed him the coupon, and he immediately said that it doesn't apply to trucks. He then stated the usual price is $60, but he'll do it for $50, plus $8.25 for the certificate, and plus tax for $60 total. He snatched the coupon from my hand before I could point out the coupon said only $5 more for trucks. I didn't want to debate him or call him out, so I begrudgingly accepted. The smog itself only took a few minutes and my truck passed fine as it always does. When it came time to pay, he tacked on another $2.40 credit card fee without telling me, so the total was $62.40. Definitely left with a bad feeling in my mouth. 3 stars off due to the deceptive marketing and just overall sliminess of the transaction. I award them 2 stars because at least they did the smog check. I will not be back. read more

I went on Groupon trying to get a good deal when I saw that access smog had a 26% off smog test. I called them trying to clarify the discount before I bought it and the guy who answered the phone was completely rude. I believe his name was Mark. He yelled at me saying I have no idea about that discount come in We serve you that's it then hung up on my face. I called back, thinking it was just a mistake to again clarify the price and make an appointment. He then yelled at me saying we do not make appointments. It's first come first serve don't you get that? then again hung up on me. I'm nice and always have a sweet tone but to be an asshole over A QUESTION. Is completely unbelievable. read more

He asked me to wait, and so I did- waiting was no issue. After waiting he told me to pull up and he came over to my car to ask how I found the place. My husband and I came here 2 times. The 1st time the man who does the smog check failed to be there without notice. We arrived at 12pm & he told us to come back at 6:30pm or come in the AM. We came once again from Newport Beach to mission viejo. He looked at our car (2001 LEXUS IS 300) which we've had for 10 years - we got it salvaged & modified but it works amazing. The owner we bought from told us why it was salvaged & we understood. The second I drove up to his station the technician gave me a dirty look, kept looking in our car & made no type of small talk or conversation he just kept giving us orders. Once he opened the hood & looked he said he couldn't read the number on the air filter (which my husband could) my husband read the numbers out to him & he said ok I'm going to fail it. Went off yelling at us that the car was modified & the air filter needed a box. We've had this car smogged for 10 consecutive years. This is the first person whom had ever told us this, we're grateful we have a lot of technicians we know & wish only but the best for the man who made us waste 2 days out of our life. read more

When my son showed him the coupon he said that was for someone else. When my son said the address on the coupon is the same as yours, the guy said to come back Sunday and talk to the owner.
