Horrible customer service!! I have a fridge leaking water and they were scheduled to come today between 12 and 5. The tech called and I missed the call. I called back and they stated because I didn't answer my phone he isnt coming and will not come back until next week. I explained I was never told we HAD to answer the phone and that we have been at home waiting for the tech. They didnt care amd basically told me too bad. Had their scheduler explained I need to answer my phone I obviously would have kept my cell phone with me. I asked to speak to a manager and of course no one was available and never called me back. I really wish you could make a review with a negative star rating. Much like many of the other reviews I had the same experience, or should I say lack there of. My home warranty company scheduled this service to come out on a monday, my ONLY day of each week, which I explained to the company when they set my appointment. That scheduled day, the technician had car trouble....seems like a common problem!!! They of course had to reschedule but that had to be a week away on my next ONLY day off.....so I can waste another day off waiting for them. That day was today.....no call no show even after contacted the company to confirm my appointment, which they had set for the wrong time frame.....I requested 8 to 12 because I have kids to pickup at 2 and 3 from school. Wish I could could go lower than 1 star. This company is the worst company to deal with, they lie and the customer service rep is rude. They have been working on my refrigerator ice maker for the past 6 months, which is not acceptable and have sent out probably every tech they employ to repair, which they keep repairing the same thing and to date it still does not work. They refuse to call the insurance company and notify them that nothing is working that has been tried, instead they tell me it's not their job to call the insurance company with that info. It is only required of them to call them to get authorization to order parts. They also lied and said they have only been working on my ice maker since May of this year and they have been working on it since Jan 6, 2015. I asked the insurance company to never allow them to come to my house again if ever I needed an appliance repair. I told them I was going to report them to the BBB and the rep told me she didn't care what the h*** I did. After telling me that, I went over the roof. I hung up on her and immediately called the insurance company and reported them. WARNING to anyone out there, when you hear the name ACCORD APPLIANCE, RUN. Need to rescind my previous favorable review of 2/7/17 with this appliance dealer. The person they sent seemed very knowledgeable, but then the Insurance company called to tell us that he reported our refrigerator which is located inside the house of our home as being located outside the house instead and that they would not cover this. When I tried calling Accord to have them call the insurance company to verify their obvious mistake, we could not get in touch with Accord (neither thru email or phone). It is absolutely impossible to get in touch with them by any means. Don't know how they stay in business. Our 5 day old washer broke down on a Friday. Called the warranty company, they scheduled an appointment with this company for the Wednesday after. They come in, say they don't have the part. They get the part the next Friday, say they'll give us a call and set us up with a new appointment today. Guess who still hasn't called. we've had this washer 4 weeks and, thanks to this company's complete disregard for their customers, have only been able to use it for one of them. Worked with Heather and an older gentleman and the service man, Victor, i beleive. like so many others on here, we had to use Accord through First Amercan Home Warranty when our dishwasher started to return a service code that stood for the item not draining. Victor shows up to our house and tinkers around with our dishwasher, tells me after about 10 minutes nothing is wrong and it drains fine. i ask him to please run a quick wash because it was shutting off and throwing the service code halfway through a cycle. begrudingly, he starts a cycle, starts to pack his things. suddenly, BEEP BEEP BEEP! this dishwasher shuts off and throws the service code. he calls a friend, speaks in a different language in our kitchen for another ten minutes. when hes finally off the phone he tells me his friends says i need a new circut board- his friend!! so he says, we will check and make sure its covered under your warranty, then order the part and come install it. this was 6/12 - a thursday. we finally get a call 6/18 that the part is ready to install so we schedule an appointment for 6/21, a saturday. he shows up and tries to install but fails. why? he ordered the wrong part! so then we call this morning to find out whats going on and Heather promises to call back within the hour. 4 hours later, we are done. we are calling to get a different repair company. the warranty companies seriously need to reconsider their contractors. even if accord was the lowest priced contractor, it seriously shows in their ethics and workmanship. read more

Wow what a dud company. Oven is broken over Christmas and the best they could do was to "try" and get a technician out on 12/30. Anya - who "says" she is a "manager" said that was the best they could do. They really do not care in the least. Really nasty mean woman. I have never been so upset with a company. Called for appointment they set a time for 12 noon and the man showed up at 9 am and walked in my garage ( it was open) he didn't walk to front door like most others would GGG ave, then called out Accord appliance. Should have been my first clue. Went in my laundry room shut the door messed with stuff came out said I need to order 2 parts and said he would call when they were available. I had to ask what was the problem with the machine. Second clue they sucked. Parts came in they set up appt 12-4 they would be there . Not here by 430 husband called very rudely they replied, tech has till 5. No call no show. I called complained they made another appt with us...12-5, by 430,nothing again, they attempted to call their tech for eta... No answers! No call back to us.. Again a no call no show... Finally called our warranty company, filed a report and requested not to have them do ANY warranty work for us. You know I really wish i would of read reviews for this company before our home insurance hired them to fix our oven. Its been over a month and still not fixed! The guy just walked out and waved bye like everything was ok. Both my wife and I called and was hung up on! I work in a customer service role and Im sure I would be fired for hanging up on people. Do yourself a favor and never call Accord. I had repair issues with a nonworking freezer. Their customer service was horrible. They showed up late, when they showed up. After the initial visit they took weeks to get back for follow up and continued to drag out a warranty issue. Their scheme seems to be to work with warranty insurances so they don't want to encourage replacements just repairs- that they get money for making. I don't even know where to start. This is the third time they mess up. First time... they left a horrible mess at my rental home, used towels my tenant had around the laundry without asking! And Had horrible customer service. Second time... took them 4 times for them to fix my dryer. They messed up the first 2 times, 3rd time fixes the problem but caused another problem. So they had to come back out a 4th time which was fixed. This is a horrible business! I have been dealing with them since July to get my refrigerator fixed and still it is NOT fixed! I called my home warranty today to file a complaint! The first tech, Howard came 8 times to check on the fridge and still didn't fix it. i contacted my warranty co to get service on my washing machine. after waiting for a 6 hour window, the tech arrived found a piece of pillow stuffing in the bleach dispenser and said it was leak cause. he left me a copy of an invoice that had no information at all on it.he was at my house for a total of maybe 15 minutes the next day i got a phone call from the warranty company outlining a list of problems with my washer, i said to to warranty company that they must have a different customer, that they made a mistake. they verifed the work order number etc. i never was told of any problems with the washer by the tech nor is there any info on the copy of the invoice he gave me. i asked the warranty company for a copy of the diagnosis and they siad the best way was to get it from accord appliance. i called them, they told me to send an email with that request, i did and got a response saying i needed to get it from the warranty company. I called and asked to speak to the manager who said he cant give it to me only the tech has it, i said get it from him and he said he couldnt i asked why i wasnt given a copy when the tech was at my house., apologies but no good answer. i asked for the owner an the manager hung up on me. Accord appliance was assigned by my home warranty service to repair my refrigerator. I had read the other negative comments made, and was concerned I would get the same poor service. I am happy to report that from the scheduling to completion of the repair, theïr attention to detail was outstanding. They called for an appointment on the same day they received the request from American home Shield, and their initial assessment was completed within 48 hours of my phone call. The repair of my refrigerator required 5 new parts. The parts were ordered on the same day as the visit. When the parts were received(took 4 days), accord appliance called within 24 hours for a follow up service call. The refrigerator is now working properly. Special kudos to the technician, Orlando, who came to my home and knew exactly what parts had to be ordered. He is the ultimate professional. Also, the office staff who answered the phones. They were polite, and very helpful. Accord appliance is a very busy company, so it is possible you may have to wait on the phone because of call volume as they respond to calls. They give you the option of a call back. I have no complaints. read more

Read these reviews and take them with a grain of salt but I assure you my review is accurate. I was referred to accord appliance by First American home warranty's. I'm having problems with my cooktop range and refrigerator. They came out and tweaked with the cooktop without replacing parts and it somewhat worked. They could repair the fridge so they had to order parts. Before they came to repair the refrigerator with the parts ordered I called them to let them know my cooktop was still having a problem. They said just let the technician know when they arrive instead of being proactive and ordering necessary parts so they can fix both problems in one trip and avoid having to make me wait for another appointment window. The technician shows up and fixes the fridge and confirmed the cooktop needs parts. Parts were never ordered. They had to send another technician out to reconfirm the problem. Again parts were not ordered. I just got another call from accord appliance and they're saying they finally have parts and the appointment window is between 12pm and 6pm. Keep in mind I've already wasted 3-6 hours per appointment window for them to come and repair, confirm and reconfirm the problems. I suggested that they simply send me the parts and I would install them myself saving me time and saving them time and travel. Instead the lady on the phone named Dawn simply told me I'm refusing service and she will call the home warranty company to have somebody else come out. Pretty short and sweet. Then attitude I received was Basically "wait when we tell you to wait, jump when we tell you to jump, deal with what we give you and like it or go somewhere else!" That is the business attitude I am getting from this company. If you don't like what they're selling or offering too bad go somewhere else. Which isn't a bad attitude to have if you were offering good service and good quality repairs. But when you're offering crappy service and crappy repairs that's not a good motto to follow. So keep looking for another service provider or just burn your house down you'll probably have better results and a faster repair time. read more

Stood up! Referred by First American about a broken dishwasher - it would not turn on most of the time and turn off mid cycle the times it did turn on. I called to schedule an appointment but was advised that if the dishwasher decides to turn on while the technician is there, he will not do anything more than collect the $55 for the call. I decided to wait and a week later the unit stopped working completely. I called again, a technician came out, collected the $55, stated they do not have the right parts, promised to be back by the end of the week to repair our dishwasher, and left. The end of the week came and went with nobody coming to fix our unit or calling with a status update on the ordered parts. The following week, I called them and was told the parts had to be ordered and a tech will fix our dishwasher when they arrive. I asked for a tracking number for the parts and was told somebody else knows it and they will call me back. No one ever called back. After nearly two weeks the part finally arrived (I had to call the discover this information) and a technician showed to the scheduled Friday appointment only to discover they have the wrong part. The technician stated he would overnight the part and fix our dishwasher either Saturday or Monday. That was two weeks ago!!! It has now taken them another 2 weeks to order the right part (and it is a $12 part available at many appliance part retailers). They have never called with a status update. Each time we call, they feed us the same story, "the part will arrive in the next 1-2 days, we will call you." The 1-2 days come and go, nobody calls us, we call them and hear exactly the same story. I told them that if they do not resolve the issue or refund us I will report a fraudulent charge against them with my credit company. They did not seem to care much. They are all a bunch of incompetent crooks from Charles, the person answering the phone, whose every phone call begins with placing you on hold for a few minutes to see if you will just go away, to Alex, their parts manager who cannot order the right part to save his life, to their other staff whom never calls with an update, to their techs who display their level of incompetency while wreaking of cigarette smoke. If I had a choice, I would not deal with Accord or First American anymore, I consider First American and its contractors a scam and a bright example of what has gone wrong with the American Business. read more

Very sad appliance company. Brand new Whirlpool Dishwasher used for the first time and it was not working properly. Whirlpool scheduled an appt with Accord Appliance to come out for repair. Accord Appliance was a no show. Called Whirlpool back and customer service rep said that record showed that Accord Appliance had finished the job. Wrong!!! Accord Appliance never showed up to house. The Whirlpool rep called Accord Appliance and a rep said that a technician showed up and no one was home. Wow. This company is sad and sad for not being honest. They have been unable to get our brand new Amana washer to work, after 4 home visits (and 3 no shows), ordering parts from the dealer, telling us to take the washer to the shop, then refusing to allow the machine to stay with them. I called Amana, and discovered that they have never even called the Senior repair tech at Amana, so they can't help either. I'm driving all around with a washer in the bed of my truck. The worst company by far that I have ever had to deal with. They were sent to us by Whirlpool. First the tech was not listening to what my husband was trying to tell him that our refrigerator was doing (making a loud squealing noise when it is attempting to fill the ice tray with water). Then as he and his unidentified partner (no uniform or name tag) move my refrigerator, my husband tells him to be careful before pulling it out because our vinyl is soft. They push the refrigerator back and there was a huge 5 inch tear in the vinyl and the tech had the audacity to say it was already there. Then he leaves my house to call his manager and then comes back in and says he can glue it for us, we told him that it can't be glued because it's not the kind of vinyl that is glued to the floor and that it's an upgraded vinyl only held in by the baseboards. He laughed and said it was cheap vinyl. Are you seriously kidding me? I kicked him out of my house and called the Manager Silvia who doesn't really seem to give a crap. They only have 4 hour or 6 hour window appointments. Unfortunately even though they make an appointment and your stuck for hours waiting....they never show up. They don't even call to say they can't make it. Then they call you back the next day to reschedule your appointment. They don't even apologize for their screw up. They are such a joke!!!! I am only giving Accord Applicances one star because I am forced to do so. We have a high-end Kitchen Aid side-by-side refrigerator and freezer that completely stopped working. On March 3rd, Kitchen Aid sent out Accord Appliances to service the units. They did arrive on time and their technician was very polite. He informed us that the part needed to be replaced and that there was a possibility that Kitchen-Aid (now owned by Whirlpool) no longer makes the part and therefore, the entire built-in unit would need to be replaced. He told us that HIS company would be calling just as soon as they found out wether or not the part was available. FIVE business days later, we had not heard anything so we called Accord Appliances. Their response was, "the part is no longer available and so we closed this service request." Nobody had ever informed us that the service ticket was just closed!! So I called Kitchen-Aid and explained this entire situation and they were extremely helpful in letting me know that the part IS available and Accord Appliance had already been notified of this and given approval to purchase the part and repair our fridge. They called Accord on my behalf to find out why they had told me the part was not available and they said, "our records were never updated" which Kitchen-Aid said is an outright lie and they have proof in their record systems. Three days later, we called another service company called Impact (wonderful by the way), they came out two days later to diagnose the issue. Not only did they identify the broken part but had a replacement on their truck that same day!! 45 minutes later my fridge was fixed by Impact. Accord Appliance is a joke. Update 9 October-we are now starting our 9th week with no dryer. The Accord Appliance tech came out and now apparently the computer board has a wire that was broke which will not allow the dryer to stay on. This was not an issue at anytime we were using the dryer. The tech who previously worked on it apparently broke it. So now a week later we are waiting for the part to be ordered even though the tech failed the dryer. Our rep from the warranty company has not contacted us at all nor responded to emails. Seriously, do not use them and do not use First American Home Warranty either. Our air conditioning repair is also going on 9 week and still not repaired. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT POOR QUALITY WORK AND LONG, LONG WAIT TIMES!!!!! We placed a request via our Home Warranty Company 1st American on August 22nd. On August 25th the technician from Accord Appliance came to trouble shoot our dryer. Our dryer was spinning, the timer worked but we had no heat. The technician stated a component of the motor was bad that did not allow the dryer to heat. He would have to order the motor and set up another appointment. September 5th, I took the day off for their 4 hour window which was barely met. The technician came in and ask to turn on my fan I had inside a bedroom to blow on him as he was hot (legit hot day)t. Not an issue, ok. He worked on the dryer a little bit and then asked to use the restroom which ok, can deal with that. He threw the towel on the floor and left a mess, not ok. He worked on the dryer some more and then started rushing out the door with his stuff stating he couldn't fix the dryer. I asked him to stop and explain. He said the timer was broken now and he would have to order another one. I explained to him the dryer timer was fine as we had done air fluff prior to him taking out the motor. He stated that rarely happens but yup it was the timer and left. I called the Warranty Company and told them I had red flags and wanted a new vendor to come out. They called Accord and were on hold for 20 minutes. Accord never even had reported the appointment time to the Warranty Company. We went back and forth and we not able to contact them. Their next appointment was not until 12 September. We were not able to keep that appointment with our own work hours and called to cancel but could never get through to Accord as on hold for over 20 minutes, left a message and did not receive a call back. The tech showed up and we were not here. The appointment was reschedule for 22 September....now 10 days later. They called and cancelled the appointment. They never ordered the parts for our dryer until the 22nd of September!!!! So the appointment was rescheduled again for today, 26 September. The tech came in and stated he could not fix it, now the thermal fuse was bad but wasn't sure what is wrong really and now they have to bring in ANOTHER TECH to look at it. So 3 appointments and 6 weeks later and we are still without a dryer and no closer to getting it repaired! Completely unacceptable! I let the Warranty Company know and told them I had asked them to change vendors and 6 weeks later we do not have a dryer still. They called Accord who said they would come next week to trouble shoot again! After arguing with the Warranty company, we have to wait until Friday. I would never recommend this company and I am looking to change my warranty compa5ny if they cannot provide better service repair contracts. Seriously 6 weeks to fix a dryer and having to miss work each time they come. For the lost wages, I could have bought a decent dryer. Please do not use them. They do not return calls, they do not give quality work and obvious their repairmen do not know their jobs. I checked out the California Better Business Bureau. They have 17 complaints, a F rating and 10 failure to respond to complaints....will be filing a complaint with California Consumers Affairs and Better Business Bureau, Bureau of Electronic and Appliance Repair and City of Temecula. read more

I have never posted a review on yelp before, but felt compelled to warn you to never use this company. I have not had a working oven since August. We have First American Insurance to cover our appliances and First American contracts with Accord Appliance for repairs. A technician from Accord Appliance came to my home 6 times over the last 4 months and each time deemed my oven not repairable. However, here's the big issue. Accord kept communicating to First American that my oven was fixed. What?? Accord even reported to First American that they came to my home again on November 28 to repair the oven. Nope they didn't. Our dryer would not heat up. I contacted AHS home warranty and they contacted Accord. Accord called the following day, and I was able to set up an appointment for the next day, 12 -5 window. Service tech showed up at 4. Figured out the problem was a fuse, but did not have the part. (I would have given them 5 stars if they had the part with the service tech, but that might be a little unrealistic of me to hope they carry parts on them for all appliances). LOL! I called the office the next day, and they had the part in stock. Yeah! That same afternoon I was given a 12-5 window, and the service tech showed up at 2. After he was here the first trip, I had paid him the $75. AHS trade fee he requested. After he left I decided to check the Yelp reviews, and I really got concerned! Please heed my warning if you are assigned these clowns by Home Depot for extended warranty repair do not accept the assignment. Ask for another provider...they have options. I won't bore you with the endless frustrating details but they were given the task of fixing my fridge freezer and not only did they fail to fix it twice they did such a poor job the LG tech who was finally sent by Home Depot to find out what's going can't fix it either because of problems caused by Accord. They used the wrong parts, they didn't find or permanently fix the coolant leak, they removed and took with them a bunch of special screws which means that even if LG is able to find and fix the leak the entire appliance still won't be safe. Apparently there is a special screw which comes with the unit and isn't supplied with standard replacement parts now missing so not even LG can do a standard repair. The whole thing is a nightmare which has stretched on for months now. I now have to fight Home Depot for a refund or replacement of a $2.5K fridge freezer because the incompetent service guys they subbed the job to broke my equipment. Wow--can there be a zero star rating?? This company certainly deserves it! I have never seen this level of incompetence in one place. From scheduling to repairman, this people are incompetent, unkind, unprofessional, unorganized. The manager comes to work "around 11"--and he "doesn't take calls"!! Nobody to complain to about what his employees are doing. I dealt with them for a month, and am nowhere even close to having the service STARTED let alone finished! The only reason I even put up with such incompetence is that they are the only authorized service for Whirpool in the area. Guess what, Accord Appliance company, I am filing Consumer Bureau complaint against you, as well as letting BBB know how you do business. Maybe I can save some poor unsuspecting citizen from your $$$$ charge that you CERTAINLY do not deserve! read more

I placed an order with accord appliance for repair on November 02, 2017, it's been over 30 days, 33 to be exact. The first scheduled appointment the tech came by & accessed the situation & ordered parts. The 2nd scheduled appointment tech came by attempted to install parts but discovered he ordered wrong part. The 3rd scheduled appointment tech returned with new parts but the ordered parts was still not correct for my appliance. The 4th scheduled appointment he returned with yet more parts didnot repair the problem and to top it off. He dropped my oven door bending it at the corner, chipped my tile where the door fell, and caused damaged to oven seal and it's the work is still incomplete because the correct parts needed to repair oven is still wrong. Well finally parts were in, we scheduled another appoint between 8-12, they never showed up or called to say they were running late. Needless to say they were hired by my home warranty company and that's the only reason I continue to deal with them. Thanksgiving we could not cook, xmas is coming and from the look at it I probably still won't be able to cook. Let's see what day 34 will bring. So no I DONOT recommend this company unless you just have time to waste with a company who hires based on filling the gap rather than experience. Decided to post a review about this ridiculous company that American Home Shield sent out. Not surprised to read the horrible reviews already posted. Our ice maker in the freezer broke. AHS referred it to Accord Appliances. Seemed a little strange to send someone from a company in Temecula, 45 minutes away, but whatever. We got the appointment scheduled. Tech shows up wearing a stained t-shirt, shorts and flip flops, highly unprofessional. Looks at the ice maker, comments on how old the refrigerator was, and said he would have to have the part ordered. I asked him if it was because the appliance was older, and he laughs and says "Actually it's because I don't have any parts with me". Seems to me that this could have been avoided if the company had requested information on the make and model at the time that the appointment was sent, but I guess that would make too much sense. Technician tells me to call his company the following day for a status on when the part will arrive. They tell me that they are having trouble locating it and will call when they find one. We get a call the next day, and we set an appointment, with a 6 hour window for the technician to arrive. 6 hours? No one requires a 6 hour window anymore, but whatever, they say it's the best they can do. On the day of the appointment, when there is no sign of the technician or an update call, I call the company. Long hold time so I eventually hang up. At 4:48 I get a call from an unknown number, which I missed. No voice mail message left. Assuming that it's the tech, I call the company, but now it's 5:03 and they close at 5. Finally at 5:45 I reach the tech. He tells me that his first job, his MAIN job for the military ran late, and did I still want him to come out? However, he STILL can't tell me what time, just sometime between then and 8 pm. I tell him that is not acceptable, that he should have had the courtesy to call and let me know that he wasn't going to be there by 6, and that he wasted 6 hours of my time. He said a 6 hour window is a standard in the industry (it's definitely not), and if I didn't want to do it that evening, he'd come on Thursday or Saturday, again a 6 hour window. I told him to forget it, that I would call his company to discuss. I don't know why I thought calling the company would result in better service. The customer service rep told me that mine was the second complaint that they received on the same technician. I asked her to reschedule it with another technician, and to see if she could make us the first stop since I had already wasted 6 hours the day prior, waiting for the original tech. Her response was " Nothing you say to me is going to make me be able to tell you I can do that, because I would lose my job." Couldn't reason with her so I told her I would try to resolve it directly with AHS and inquire about the service fee I had already paid. She said she was sure that AHS would refund the fee. Called American Home Shield and now I can see that American Home Shield is where the problem starts. Their customer service standards, or lack thereof, clearly sets the tone for the vendors they hire out. read more

Horrible Communication! They gave me an appt between 8-12 and I get a phone call @ 1150 saying he is running late and won't be at my home until 230! I only have 2 days off a week and I dont have time to sit around all day waiting for a company that make it on time. Thanks for wasting my day off! Couldnt call me earlier to reschedule instead of having me waste my time? If this wasnt warranty work through Home Shield I would NEVER hire this company! I wanted to reschedule for the next week and told the girl on the phone I wanted to be the 1st appt so I would eliminate the possibility of them running late from the job before me, and she said she couldnt do that!
