We have had our HVAC systems serviced and repaired by the Accurate Air team for several years now. (We had used others before that, and have been much happier with Accurate on both pricing and apparent quality.) The technical staff explain things well, and offer clear information about what's recommended and what's necessary. Another AC company that I've used for some years came out to perform routine check on my Trane. Prior to their visit, there were no problems with the AC. They recommended I replace two parts and the work was done. Within hours, AC stopped operating properly. They came out again and replaced one of the parts they had installed during their first visit. AC stopped working properly again hours later. They sent a third technician to my home the next day. The technician advised me I needed a new compressor and provided me a quote for a new Trane because I opted not to have compressor replaced. While comparison shopping for a new Trane, I found Accurate Air listed as a Trane dealer. I contacted this company and am so very happy I did. After explaining all that had happened, Tom said that it might not be the compressor. Accurate Air technician came out the next day. He found that jumper wire was missing. He added jumper and replaced cap to relay. AC works as it should. Accurate Air will be my go to company from now on. I highly recommend this company. Their price for the work done was reasonable. Technician was professional and arrived during the 2 hour window. Technician worked diligently to resolve the problem he found. read more

I was completely blown away by this company's level of customer service! Accurate Air was recommended to me by another fellow Yelper and I'm glad I took the advice. They were honest and very dependable. They knew the situation that I was in and squeezed me in as soon as possible. My condensation line was completely clogged which caused my ceiling to leak. I had an ongoing issue with my AC unit, and had three different companies out to look at it. A friend recommended Accurate Air and I gave them a call. Their awesome service starts with the nice woman who answers the phone. As opposed to all the other companies who sound annoyed to be speaking with you- this nice person is helpful and courteous and doesn't make you feel like you are interrupting a Judge Judy marathon. Chuck is the tech who responded to my house and he was just awesome. He did extensive trouble shooting and looked at every possible issue which could be contributing to the problem. Chuck installed a new fix and also educated me on how to watch for potential problems that may arise. I really appreciated his expertise and professionalism. There was never any attempt to up-sell anything at all. Chuck attacked the problem almost like he was fixing his own AC- which I appreciated. He wasn't rushed and didn't have to be in and out in five seconds like so many other companies. Chuck was very thorough and did a great job of educating me on what his thought process and how things work. As a bonus- Chuck installed my new 3rd Gen Nest thermostat. Did you know if a "Nest Pro" installs your Nest- you get a free five year warranty? From the standard two years- you get an extra three- just by having a professional do it. How cool is that? I'm so glad to have found Accurate Air and Chuck. No one wants to have AC issues- but I can tell you it's nice to have the best people standing by when you have that "Aww crap" moment and your AC is not working. Our A/C unit stopped producing cold air in July, when we needed it most. David, our technician, didn't find any electrical/mechanical problems and freon levels were good. He determined that a safety switch cut off power to the compressor motor due to excessive condensation levels. He blew out the condenser line and performed a 20 point inspection of our system at a nominal cost. David did an excellent job of answering my questions. read more

Accurate installed a Trane A/C unit at our house and it has required quite a bit of service over its first 2 years. Recently, the thermostat broke and needed to be replaced -- of course on a 107 degree Saturday. We had the technician come out and he told us that they do not carry the part with them and that Accurate does not provide access to the part over the weekend. He wanted to put on a temporary thermostat but made it clear that he had no idea if it would work. Given the fact the 2-year old unit has broken twice already and we had no idea if it would void the warranty, we decided that was a bad idea. We paid him $146 for this call. We then called another provider who stocks the part (yes, even on weekends and after hours) and we got it replaced a few hours later, no hassles. I do not understand how an authorized service agent of Trane does not stock parts over the weekend, particularly when we are talking AC during June in Phoenix. As an aside, Accurate did call 4 days later, but not to try to resolve our issue but instead to make sure their technician followed the protocol of the company, which I guess he did. So, I'd say if you want quick service and expert repair, steer clear of Accurate. read more

With the crazy electrical storms the past few days my AC unit exploded, yes really. I wasn't sure what to do so from a recommendation from my sister I filled out the web form for Accurate Air on their website ( it was late when the explosion happened ). Their office staff called me promptly when they opened in the morning and were very nice and sent George out right away. George came and surveyed the damage and gave me a few options on repairing or replacing the exploded compressor. I opted for a new AC unit. They got one from the warehouse and had it installed the new morning in the morning all in about 24 hours. I had really good luck with them. read more

I was very pleased with the professional, courteous service that I received from Accurate Air. I too had a part that needed replacing and my unit was under warranty. Even though the technician did not have the warranty part stocked on his truck, he was able to get my unit functioning for me until the warranty part arrived. I really felt that the technician went out of his way to ensure my comfort until we were able to get the unit fixed with the correct parts. After some explanation from the technician, I understood how difficult it would be to keep stock of all parts for all kinds of units on their trucks. it was great that they were able to provide me with a "stock part" so that my family and I could endure the heat. What a refreshing difference!! Tom did a thorough inspection of our entire system. He made a series of recommendations from the least invasive to the most expensive. I was really surprised (and very pleased and impressed) that he did NOT immediately recommend that I replace my AC system. He said that I should try the other, much less expensive, things first, and only then investigate complete overhaul if necessary. Best of all, he told me that it really didn't make much sense to do anything now that AC season is just about over. Wait to make all the recommended changes and improvements until February or March!
