Accurate Automotive is the GREATEST repair shop in Arizona! If you are looking for an awesome, honest, reliable and competitively priced place to take your car...look no further. They truly are the BEST. Last week my car broke down, and I chose to take it to them because a year ago my car had transmission problems and was no longer drivable. Accurate Automotive and Lee, the owner, came highly recommended by a friend. I told Lee my transmission had gone out; however, he determined that this was not the case and that it was actually my clutch. Not having knowledge of the mechanics of either the transmission or clutch, he could have easily told me both parts needed to be replaced and I would have believed him. Instead, because of his integrity, he only replaced what was broken: the clutch. Not many mechanics would have done that. So this time when my car broke down I knew right away that I would have it towed to Accurate Automotive. They found that the number two valve had zero compression and thought that I might need a new head gasket; however, the things that typically make the valve loose compression had not happened to my car. They searched until they found what had happened and saved me $1,200. This is exactly what sets them apart. Like a lot of people today, my car breaking down was a financial hardship so saving me $1,200 while fixing it was a miracle. I believe God works through people. My wife drives an older Lexus is250c - she was down to just one keyfob and everywhere she went to get a new one, referred her back to the Lexus Dealership. Took the dealership several hours to program the new keyfob, and when completed, they called my wife to let her know everything they found wrong with her car: CV joint boots torn/leaking - needing to replace the left and right rear CV axles; Drive Belts worn/cracked - needing to replace the serpentine belt; rear tires needing to be replaced - total costs for repairs $4,194.51 - scare tactic: "you know those cars you see on the side of the road with a tire broke off? that's what can happen if you don't get this work done asap.".... interesting though, I found no leaks when I looked, nor any of the other typical signs that the CV axles needed replaced..... dropped the car off at Accurate Automotive - after a thorough inspection, there was nothing wrong with the car - none of the stated repairs needed to be done.... Lee and his staff are honest, reliable and ethical. My family has taken 7 vehicles to them through the years, and they've always done right by us.... can't say enough about them.... read more

I made an appointment with Accurate Automotive after reading great reviews and decided to give them a try since I have a classic muscle car (69 Camaro RS) that everyone else is afraid to work on. The work was extensive and they kept it the whole week. They reassured me they would take care of as if it were their own. The price was more than fair, Lee drove me all the way home (not close) and we had a great conversation along the way. Eric was very professional and I trusted his pricing (they even gave me a first time customer discount!) and Edwin was an awsome mechanic and totlally honest. He told me I really didn't need something another garage told me I needed. They wouldn't release the car to me until it was absolutely perfect. Boy, what a difference! I don't mind paying for repairs as long as they're needed and I think the price is fair. This place exceded my expectations and highly recommend them. I found Accurate Automotive via "Bumper to Bumper Radio". I had a part that needed to be replaced that was a little beyond my skill level, so I called several shops for a quote on Friday. Accurate's quote was ONE-THIRD the cost of another recommended shop and they had an opening on Saturday, so I made the appointment. Upon arrival, "Aussie" Joshua checked me in and was a absolute pleasure to work with. The repair was done quickly and my vehicle was ready when promised. Accurate performed a very thorough safety check on my vehicle and provided photos anything that needed future attention. They were honest and prioritized the suggested repairs so I know what to budget for next. Moved down from Maine and have never taken my vehicle to any other shop then the local one back in Maine. I researched many different shops and called for different quotes. Accurate Automotive was very helpful and genuine about their services. Kevin was able to get my car in the same day to take a look and called me shortly after with to recap On the services I personally asked for. As well as going above and beyond to check out the whole car and let me know if any other concerns. They made sure to go over the estimate over the phone and told me the price for each service. Very friendly Staff and ownership. I took my car to Firestone and they gave me a laundry list of failures my car was going to experience if I didn't get those issues fixed immediately. I wanted a second opinion so I brought my car to Accurate Automotive, they ran a thorough walk thru on my vehicle and had a few other suggestions at half the price. They were very accommodating, my car was not completed in time, due to electrical failure in their neighborhood, however they set me with a rental car from enterprise and paid for it. Work on my car was finished the following day and feels and runs great! I have been a customer of Lee Weatherby's Accurate automotive since I was 16 years old. I am currently 29. He has provided exceptional service to me and my family for these 13 years. This place is awesome ! Reminds me of my dad's old car shop in Sacramento, the guy that runs the place is very nice and has pictures of his family on the walls which I thought was sweet lol anyways, great hospitality great prices.. OH ! And when I called to ask what time my car would be done(which was rather quick), he informed me my low beam light was put and due to money shortage I had to decline the small fix but when I got there I had seen that it was fixed w no charge to me ! I brought in my 2011 Nissan frontier because the air conditioner wasn't blowing any cold air, I have some knowledge of auto repair so when they told me it was just the O-rings in the hoses that were bad I instantly knew that they were being honest as they could of told me many other things such as bad compressor, bad condenser, bad pump ETC... I've been coming here for several oil changes. They are a great, family-run company. Highly highly recommend them. The last time I was there they made a MINOR Customer Service issue, and they did exactly what they should have to correct it. They made sure I left happy, they went out of their way to be fair, honest, and continue to be the phenomenal company that they are. LOVE this place. I've taken my truck to multiple mechanics in the Mesa / Tempe area, and Lee and his staff are by far my top choice for the future. I have known the Weatherby's for the last few years and they have always been great people and honest. They run a great and honest business. If something is wrong w/your car they will tell you. Horrible place! The brothers, or known as the "owners", bully and belittle the staff. Instead of educating, they would rather put everyone down and call their staff dumb. Telling them that they will never amount to anything and curse at them. They force staff to work on THE OWNERS personal projects. They inhumanely kill animals in their shop (yes they have rats) and encourage the staff to follow suit. The most disgusting and disgraceful people I have ever dealt with! NEVER GO HERE!! OVER PRICED! Love these guys!! I badly needed a brake job after a misdiagnosis by my previous mechanic left me suddenly with metal-on-metal grinding noises every time I came to a stop. Accurate has serviced my cars for over 26 years. I have owned as many six cars at a time due to the size of my family. Some of my cars have or have over 250,000 miles on them. Besides the fact that I take care of my cars, all the work is performed by Accurate except oil changes due to my travels. It is a NAPA Service Center and provides the best work warranty - two years.
