I needed to upgrade the electrical panel on my home and I didn't know who to trust. I do lots of research and found Accurate, and I am glad I did! They made the process super easy and put my mind at ease. In fact, I even had them install a Whole Home Fan at the same time. They sent me text messages when the tech was on his way with his photo and bio so I knew who was coming to my home. Kenny was the lead with Q and Gabe helping. They were very patient and informative answering my hundreds of questions. They kept me in the loop with all their findings and did a great job on both installs. Even the process applying for financing was super easy! I am so happy with Accurate and plan on using them for all my home issues in the future!

Three holes made for one wire, I guess the 3rd time is a charm.

I contracted Accurate to rewire my entire house and add a sub panel on 06/03/25, 5 weeks later I still have no power the work has been left unfinished including preexisting wires that should have been removed. I would love for the owner or upper management to stop by and see their technicians work. Nothing but a headache since they started, mistake after mistake. They left my house a mess every day without cleaning up after themselves. Saw dust, papers from wiring, and energy drink cans left behind. So much unnecessary damage created throughout the process. No accountability has been taken from there techs or management. Not to mention a failed city inspection for rough electrical. All this to say I'm still waiting for a call back from the owner or manager.

Water line from toilet to shower

I gave them 1 star because there isn't an option for no stars. I'm usually too busy to even leave a review but I wanted to save others the trouble from what I've experienced. So, what I requested was a free estimate for any electric, plumbing, or HVAC issues to be repaired (I'm about to close on a home in 2 days) whatever they see that i can repair. Kim was nice enough to waive my service call fee, I think it was $98. But what happened was the electric tech selling me a $9.99 monthly plan, then a full inspection for $698 on-site. I was not prepared, thought I requested for a free estimate of whatever electric issues he sees. Then the electric tech tried to stop the plumbing tech for giving me an estimate, saying that I needed to pay for a full plumbing inspection before I can get an estimate. This is the first I've ever heard from a plumbing company. I've gotten several free estimates from other companies. The problem with the home I'm about to close on had overt water lines everywhere (should be inside the walls) inside and outside the house. All a plumber needed was to walk-through the house and seeing all the overt water pipes to know that the house needed a repipe and basically note down the number of fixtures (sinks, toiles, tubs, showers.. etc) and how a repipe would run to calculate an estimate for the repipe. There's no crawl space, I didn't ask to check the drains.. I just wanted to know what were my options with the overt water lines everywhere. Also, if a full inspection was needed to get an estimate, why didn't Kim just tell me so when i was making the appointment? Why did she bother to waive my service call and saying this would be a free estimate? It would've saved hours of my time and their time! Kim waived my fee when I said I'll think about it if there's a fee for them to come out to give me an estimate. There are plenty of electricians, plumbers.. etc who would come out to do free estimates. so this is definitely a disconnect between Kim who booked my appointment and the electrician. Anyhow, I voiced my frustration after the visit also the morning after - i just wanted the estimates that they're not giving me but selling me full inspections. Not only did I not get the acknowledgement that I did request for a free estimate, but Kim instead blamed me for not clarying that I'm not yet an owner (in 48hrs I'd be and what does this have to do with anything?), so that I needed to pay $398 for something I forgot and $xxx for xxx I also forgot because by this time I was fuming inside. Her point was that because I'm not yet an owner, I cannot request for a free estimate.. she said that i told her that I'm the owner.. i honestly don't remember if she even asked me that question. So basically Kim was trying to say that "owners" can only get an estimate after paying $698 for a full inspection - like what the electrician tried to sell me. I just don't understand, a repipe is well over $10-15,000 these days that they could earn.. why are they holding back in giving me a repipe estimate, instead pushing so hard to sell me $698 full inspection??? So if you're looking for a free estimate, go elsewhere. Otherwise, you'd pay for the service call, plus $698 full inspection before you'd get any estimate. I'm scratching my head how they get any business.. consumers can easily call businesses that offer free estimates! It was a complete waste of time, gas and energy on both sides!

Ask the Community - Accurate Electric

My central heating unit is making a buzzing sound when I turn it on. What do you think is the problem?

The worked on our home during March but then finished in August due to some of the city shutdowns. At first, there were some minor issues, such as their new hires trying to avoid installing an outlet for a security camera (it was in the attic so the camera could be outdoors above the main entrance). After everything, we noticed that several mistakes were made, such as the two switches at the front were both connected to the outdoor lights, making the separate functions for the living room light and the outdoor lights pointless. We had to always leave the switches on and then find a light that could work with additional device switches. There was also an issue like this on one of the switches in the kichen, where we don't have separate control over the two different floodlights in the backyard and driveway. Annoying, but we dealt with it because we knew Marco had some new hires during the pandemic and things were just chaotic at the time. I am coming back after 6 years to leave this review because a couple of years ago, we noticed our lights would flicker. It has become worse and is now at the point where we cannot run power tools for working in our garage. We have had to request two second opinions on the electrical work to see what is going on, and both have shown that Marco's rewire was not what we paid for nor was it done well. Some of the electrical wiring was not replaced when we were charged $4500 for replacing all the wiring (we did all the patching on the walls and along with some additional outlets, which saved some money, and the full price was $4800). Marco and the guys he hired also left some of the kitchen wiring in tact that should have been replaced (even though it wasn't knob and tube, it was around 20-30 years old, and I had specifically requested for everything to be new given the poor state of the home from the previous owner who rented it out). The second opinions are certain that most of the wiring they can see in the panel and in the attic are much older than 6 years. We have also identfied the main problem as being with how the rewire was done. Far too many wires were bound together and distributed unevenly into the electrical box. Over several years, the wires are generating too much heat due to the poor techinque of how so many wires were bundled together and run to the same sections of the electrical panel. We are facing another expensive bill of thousands of dollars to make sure our home does not have fire risk and that we can run basic tools and appliances without any issues. The fact that he and his guys did not take a woman homeowner seriously from the start with some of the smaller things should have been enough of a red flag to fire them before they caused the damage they have. My husband mostly worked with them to try to get them to listen to us, but in the end, their work was shoddy and as family, friends, and consultants have explained to us, their sloppy work is the type that won't have issues until late enough that most people won't realize it was their fault. What a scam. And now that I see on other Yelp reviews that Marco sold the company, I wonder why he sold it. If Marco is still out there doing work, I'd avoid him just as much as it seems everyone should avoid Trout or the new buyers.

The electrician quickly diagnosed the issue and identified a problem with the meter installation. Using advanced diagnostic tools and a systematic approach, they pinpointed the root cause quickly and clearly explained what would be required to fix it. What stood out most was their honesty. It would have been easy to push for an expensive repair, but instead, they suggested giving a try with the builder's electrical contractors before committing to their proposed work, as the house is relatively new (3 years), though it is out of the builder's standard 1-year warranty. Fortunately, that option worked, and I didn't need to move forward with repairs through Nick's Electrics. Even so, they didn't seem disappointed in the slightest. In fact, they genuinely seemed happy that I was able to get the issue resolved most cost-effectively. That kind of integrity and customer-first mindset is rare these days. The diagnosis they provided was invaluable and ultimately helped resolve the issue much faster. To top it all off, the inspection and diagnosis were provided at no cost. I highly recommend Nick's Electrics to anyone looking for knowledgeable, trustworthy, and skilled electricians. Their expertise, transparency, and genuine care for their customers have earned my respect and a well-deserved 5-star rating.

Then they said there was tree root discovered in the line. They quoted $13,000 more to resolve it. There were no options provided for hydrojetting and a liner. We feel that given the cost, we are warranted a higher refund. The company refused. Although the owner states that options were given to my mother, they were not. I, (daughter), was there at the time of the tech's explanation of the work and so was my cousin. The tech spoke to my mother in Spanish, my cousin speaks and understands Spanish, and she also stands firm that no options were given to my mother regarding the option of hydrojetting and liner. If there were options my mother would have chosen the lesser cost. We are very upset with the dishonesty of this company. So, make sure you research costs of other plumbing companies before using this one.
