Even more concerning, I was informed that they currently do not have a manager because the previous manager left for another location. When I asked what could be done about the broken dipstick, I was told to "maybe just super glue it back on." A broken dipstick is not a proper repair, and it leaves me unable to easily check my oil level without additional work and expense. While I understand that accidents happen, what matters is how a business handles them. In this case, there was no real solution offered, no accountability taken, and I was still charged full price for the service despite leaving with a damaged vehicle component. Since this happened, my truck is now in the shop and I am currently without a vehicle. I am having to spend upwards of $60 just to get to work, all out of my own pocket, while also trying to pay to fix damage that was caused during their service. The "manager" told me, "I'll put a claim in for you," but I still have not heard from anyone. The entire situation has been unprofessional and clearly careless. What is even more frustrating is that one of the technicians simply moved on to the next vehicle as if nothing had happened. Their slogan is "10-minute oil change," yet I was there for over an hour before they even started working on my truck. The lack of urgency, accountability, and customer service was unbelievable. I hope ownership or upper management addresses these issues, as customers should not have to pay for mistakes made during routine maintenance. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location. I honestly would not trust them with my kids' toy truck if they were the only option left. Pathetic.

However, I recently sent my son there for his vehicle registration, and he was told there was an issue with his OBD connection that prevented them from completing the state inspection/registration process. He was told it would cost approximately $135 to fix. I told him not to authorize the repair and to take the vehicle to the Ford dealership for a second opinion. Ford checked the vehicle, told him there was nothing wrong with the connection, and completed what he needed in about 15 minutes. What concerns me most is that a younger or elderly customer might simply assume they have no choice but to pay for a repair like this. When my son told the employee he was going to Ford instead, his reaction made the situation even more concerning. I can only speak about our experience, and I'm not saying this happens to everyone. But in our case, we were told a repair was necessary, and the Ford dealership subsequently told us it was not. My advice: If you're told that something needs to be repaired before your inspection or registration can be completed, especially if it involves an additional charge, get a second opinion before paying for it. Businesses performing state inspections should be very clear about whether the problem is actually with the customer's vehicle or whether additional verification is needed. Customers shouldn't feel pressured into paying for a repair without having the opportunity to verify that the repair is actually necessary.

They didn't talk down to them, take advantage of them because they are young, or treat them like just another repair ticket.
