Ace Relocation was just amazing to work with. It's that easy. In every aspect of our move my expectations were exceeded. We worked with Kurt on the estimate. He is great to work with. He has been doing what he does for over 20 years and it shows through and through. He takes a very simple and informative approach to the move. He tells you everything you need to know and provides a lot of advice on what to be mindful of. After walking though our home his estimate said the move was going to take 2 hours longer than I thought it would. My wife and I were sure that we were going to be able to cut it short. Nope. He nailed it within 15 minutes. Go figure. Experience always wins. The movers that came out were also really great. Honestly I was not expecting much so I was really excited to see two older guys that lived in the area, both of whom had been with the company for a long time. Very professional and friendly the entire way. They even let my 3 yr old son take pictures with the big truck! Personally I am a big fan of companies that keep me in the loop during the process. I received several emails, and phone calls throughout that started almost immediately and continued on even after the completion of the job. I get the impression that they really appreciate feedback and openly ask for it from their customers. My move went well overall. The budget pre-visit was cordial and professional and the estimate seemed fair given the size of our household. The day of the visit had built up some tension given the event itself. The relocation team showed up as scheduled and they were friendly and professional. There was some initial level of surprise given the actual size of the household which created temporary concern. Once the team leader was able to revise the actual household in detail the overall mood relaxed. It was a complex move (but which one isn't?). Th crew was always the upmost professional. Our move had two stops and some special requirements. Once we arrived to our new home the final leg of the operation went smoothly. The crew had to make some adjustments and recommendations given the layout of our new house and the size of some of our pieces. The estimate in terms of length of time was accurate and at the end we felt that the crew did an excellent job. Moving could drive tension and anxiety. We felt it. We also realized how demanding carrying "stuff" is so we are truly appreciative of the efforts of each team member that took care of us, from our moving expert Bea McDonough to the team leader and the crew. From the estimator, Brent, to move coordinator, Colin, to load up and drop off crew we had a fantastic experience with Ace. The crew was friendly, professional and accomodating and they were on time. Everything that was loaded arrived in one piece. I only had a little coffee cup saucer that broke. All my furniture, tvs, and glass tables and monitors arrived ....no scratches, no tears, no breaks. We used Ace for a local move bringing a house-full of items out of storage into a new house. They were a dream to work with from start to finish -- everyone from the sales rep, to the dispatcher, to the 7 movers themselves. They even refunded us 30% of the initial estimate because our "pounds moved" was so far under their original estimate. We've never once seen nor heard of a moving company refunding $ for this -- and am much more used to getting overcharged the day of once they have all my stuff on a truck! David took great care in organizing the move, took pictures to help protect us both, and it was very apparent that he cared about his reputation. Likewise, Danny demonstrated amazing integrity and I am very grateful. Both Danny and Kevin were very thorough and I felt cared about the job.
