This place is hilarious. I went in to pick up my uniform and they have me about 3/4ths of my order then promised the rest would be ready the next day. I went back to days later and the lady spent about 10 minutes "looking" for my uniform. She finally "found" them on the rack that she was originally looking on. When I got home I realized the shirts were a size 32(I ordered a 36) and I was given 2 when I was only supposed to receive one. I'm not complaining because I got an extra shirt but I think they pull from other peoples uniforms if yours isn't ready. read more

I had to order my uniform for nursing school through Ace. I ordered my uniform back in the beginning of July and just received the last item of my order today. The process was a little slow, which was frustrating considering I started school a month and a half ago and have not had a full uniform. On the other hand, today I went in to pick up my remaining item from the original order and decided to try on another scrub jacket to buy. Chris and Yoselinne helped me out today and we're SUPER helpful and so kind. They went to the back to find the correct jacket for me and helped me in purchasing the jacket and setting up embroidery! I've been coming to Ace uniform for a while. And they've always had everything that I've needed whether it was when I was an EMT school and or when I join the military and needed uniform items. They are very professional. Their store is busy but that is expected especially if you're one of the best uniform companies in San Diego. Their inventory is second to none. They do have a great selection of uniforms, however not alwys in every size. One thing that is nice is that they will alwys order for you. Alterations are done on site, and the staff is friendly. The turn around time is usually a couple of day (unless near an academy graduation). I have, in my years (decades) of using them had a handful of times when the alterations were not perfect. Which I think is a good track record. They were swift in fixing the issue and someone even offered to deliver it to my office. When it gets busy in here, it gets bussssssssy!!!! While they are centrally located, that can come at a price, parking can be tricky, and the prices aren't alwys the lowest. But the service, quality and selection is good! read more

I ordered a pair of scrubs in June in store. I called three weeks later because I never received my order. After playing phone tag with the sales rep she finally got back to me three days later with a message that read, "your product was discontinued." I asked to speak to the manager, she never called me back. However, I was refunded the money. I thought maybe to give another chance. I ordered a set of completely different scrubs on 8/22 in store. Still waiting for the order. Then I just got this message: "Good Afternoon Crystal, This is Sharon from ace uniforms I was just informed that your items did not come in we called the manufacture and they told us they only have the pants in stock the top is going to become available on Oct 16. Please let me know if you wanna move forward with your order or if you wanna cancel I'm sorry for the inconvenience" Simply the worst service. If I didn't call three-four weeks later, I would have been completely forgotten about. I just want one pair of matching scrubs. Very disorganized. Their manufacturing company needs to be fired. Just awful. The sales reps are nice in person and on phone but that's definitely about it. The place is full of mis matched scrubs. Especially in the men's department. Before I placed the online orders on two separate occasions. The women said upon ordering: "Lets see if we have any in stock before I place an online order...That's weird?! It says here we have 5 in stock, but we can't find them?! We will just need to place an online order." Attached are two receipts from two separate transactions. One stop shop for my husband until recently. He went into exchange shoes Tuesday, he loves the store, it has everything he ever needs for the. He exchanged his shoes and tells me he's so uncomfortable and awkward everytime he goes there because the lady behind the desk flirts with him constantly, even though she knows he's married and kept going. We get home and he opens his box and there's no laced on the shoes. So we drive all the way back to the city, I wait in the car and he walks into exchange the shoe and it takes 20min. He comes back and says he had her check the shoes this time cause she didn't the times before, and again she kept flirting with him even when he brought up having a wife again. It's one thing to complement a customer but to consistently flirt with not only my husband, but other married and taken men (she flirts with my husbands friend who has a girlfriend too) is inappropriate especially in law enforcement agency's which your doing business with. Plus to make a man uncomfortable to where he's no longer bringing his business there and his friend won't be going anymore. The employees also are aware she does this. Terrible. I was called in to work and I needed medical scrubs ASAP. I bought the scrubs in the store and got measured by the staff for hemming. They told me they would call me when the order was ready but they didn't. I had to call in and ask. And of course- the order had been ready. I get there and the pants are ready but are still too long. Although this was also annoying, I didn't mind. I just asked them if they can make them shorter. But... this condescending passive aggressive lady gets mad at me for giving "false information" and scolding me for putting in the wrong measurements. I told her I didn't measure myself, the workers in the store did (I assumed they knew what they were doing as measuring is not hard). Regardless, she was still annoyed as she continued to lecture me. Ultimately, she threatened me that if it happens again, they will charge me (for their mistake!!). This was beyond degrading. I work at a hospital and I would NEVER EVER talk/treat any of my patients like this. Above it all, she continued to be petty and talk to her coworkers about the situation while I was sitting inside the fitting room waiting for my pants to be fixed. I could not get out of there fast enough. The employees need an attitude check. I work at a big hospital and I was planning on putting their catalogue in the staffing rooms but I will certainly not be doing that anymore. read more

I must say that the customer service (over the phone) is just horrible and may also add that when you're told something at the counter by the rep about receiving an email by them to let you know when to come in and try on another size they will be receiving before you make the decision to purchase, don't hold your breath. However they have messed up every item of alterations I have had with them. They are over priced and I have to wait forever to get acknowledged and helped, even when it's slow. So I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one with the view point on the taser not exactly being to holster friendly when it comes to availability. There was a verbal dispute between a security guard and a self proclaimed bloods member. They were on the verge of throwing hands. I run into these loser all time and they back down to any sort of real push back. This made me want to start carrying the taser again but I needed a better hip mount. Aside from not presenting as a soft target, as a girl, I don't want to be an unarmed target as well. This one originally came with 2 rubber straps that would allow the holster to flap up when you go to draw. Obviously this isn't good. They weren't even good on a 2 inches duty belt for off duty carry. So what did I do? I custom made some leather 2 inch straps. These didn't work either and were just as bad and I had the same issue. Thanks to Ace Uniforms & Accessories.Com I was finally able to get a hip mount that will work for this holster and in the case I need to act, I won't be tugging at my belt line while Im trying to have a good day. Unfortunately I don't get to choose where we get our uniforms from. When I picked up my uniforms, I only checked if my sizes were correct. I didn't realize 4 of work shirts were stained until I tried wearing one them. I noticed it had a long stain across our company logo. I called, they asked me to e-mail a picture. I e-mailed the picture and they stated it was "chalk". They suggested I steam my shirts. I steamed them and the stain was still there. I called back again, they suggested I take the shirts so they can steam them themselves. After they steamed the shirts, the stains were still there. The nice woman who was helping me called someone else to assist, I believe it was a Supervisor maybe. She saw the shirts and she stated she would "take care of them". After waiting for what seems like 15-20 minutes, the Supervisor comes out and asks me for my address and says she is going to try one more thing to try to remove the stains then she would mail them to me.. Well, a week had passed and I had not heard about my shirts. I reached out to who I think is the Supervisor, they stated she was not available. I thought she was going to call me back, but to my surprise she texted me instead. She stated my uniforms were in Will Call and I was able to pick them up. However, when I got home there was a package from Ace with my shirts inside. And guess what?? The "chalk" stains were still on my shirts.. I texted her back and informed her the stains were still there and how I didn't have the time to be going back and forth with this. Did she ever respond??? No!! I only get a uniform allowance once a year. So, I'm going to have to wear them. I have attached a picture of how my shirts look after steaming and washing.. read more
