It also did not include the AHRI Reference Number needed to verify the exact system's certified efficiency, nor the requested surge protection. For a major HVAC installation, important equipment specifications and agreed-upon work should be clearly included in the written contract. Although the price was competitive, their unwillingness to revise the initial estimate left too much uncertainty for me to proceed.

Late into the evening, we were looking indefinitely at a hotel stay to keep everyone safe--everyone I was calling refused to come out and instead were scheduling at least a month or two out. 8/21/2023 - In May of 2020 Brad's crew from Harbor Heating & Air replaced and installed two…read morecomplete heating and A/C units (upstairs and downstairs). His price was reasonable and way below the Costco estimate by the way. Between August 10th and the 14th 2023 the upstairs A/C unit was making a strange noise and wasn't putting out the air. I looked at the outside unit and saw that the fan would start and then stop. I knew it wasn't working correctly so I called Harbor Heating & Air, expecting to get an appointment in about two weeks or so. They had one for Wednesday, August 16 which I booked. On the 16th, their lead technician Xavier Solis arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem, a faulty motor. Xavier said the parts, including the motor were covered under warranty for ten years. The problem was that their parts supplier did not have a motor and told Xavier it would take 187 days to get one. Xavier told me he would find one and replace the motor ASAP. Xavier called me Friday night, the 18th and said they over-nighted a motor and he would be over Saturday morning to install it. On Saturday morning Xavier called me and said he was on his way with the motor, which he installed in about 30 minutes. I only had to pay for a service call which was very reasonable. Back in 2020 a friend told me about Brad and his company and that was why I went with him. The Harbor Heating and Air employees are honest and fair and I would recommend them to anyone/everyone. Xavier is super knowledgeable, honest and friendly.

Martin came out multiple times to diagnose the issue and was extremely determined to help us get to the bottom of it, even though we could tell his schedule was jam-packed. He ultimately came out at 9 p.m. on a Friday, after finishing with all of his other customers, just to fit us in and resolve the final issue. Given the heat wave and our two furry pets at home, we cannot thank him enough for going the extra mile for us. We turned it off and called a different company who came out and determined that we needed a new coil, outside AC unit plus we had to replace the heater because it had been damaged from the water leaking. This was going to cost $11,000. We set up service for the next day because it's in the 90s and we work from home. An hour later a friend gave me Igor's number so I could get a second opinion and I called to see if he could come that same day and he did. He looked at everything and said the pipe is clogged and he could blow it out to fix it, which he did and that fixed the problem. He also looked at her heater, and there was no water damage. Igor saved us $11,000!!!! He's a nice guy and he responds quickly and most importantly, he's honest. I have already referred a couple neighbors and friends. Glad to see there are still good people out there.

Called Igor, to replace our 27 year old furnace and AC. After discussion about correct system and…read moresize, we set the date. In the morning two workers came to remove old equipment and prepare new equipment. Everything was brand new in original packaging. 2 hours into the job, two more workers came and Igor. By 4 PM everything was installed including a replaced line to outside AC condenser. Everything was soldered together, refrigerant, power box replaced, ducts connected, with filter box and new Nest thermostat installed. 20 min later all drop cloths were gone and area was vacuumed and clean. Just is if nothing happened. Were not for new thermostat, there was nothing different visible in the house . Crew was quick, clean, Igor made sure all parts were properly fitted and heat/cold was/is working great. The unit is very quiet and runs great. Great job, for great price, Igor and team are No1!
