Requested a technician to diagnose problem. Tech said whole unit needed replacement $13k . Later they called and said it was the compressor needed to be repaired. $3200.00 We then called home warranty company to come diagnose the problem. They Came out found out the line had debris in blocking the flow of circulation and needed to be flushed to remove it. They then Completed process paid the $150 deductible and it was done. Honest, Hardworking, and Professional - Highly Recommended : Jose came to perform an AC tune-up on my Ventus X Inverter unit and did his absolute best to clean it. He was thorough, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. Even more importantly, he was incredibly honest--after attempting a nitrogen cleaning and realizing it wasn't effective for my unit, he let me know right away and didn't charge me for that part of the service. I commend Jose's honesty which is an incredible asset in our society which can be driven by funds but not care for the consumer. Other companies may try to up-charge, but this company didn't. I wondered why they kept getting 5 star reviews from their clients, but now I understand. The service worker I talked with on the phone even tried to give me an estimate of costs, which other companies like Power Pro and Plumbing were unwilling to give. I was worried that I would be charged the $200 for the service and would have to dispute, but Jose's integrity shone through when he said it wouldn't be charged. Other companies would charge the fee despite it not working. Jose let me know upfront that their company doesn't typically work with this particular brand, something I wish I had known beforehand--but I truly appreciate his transparency and integrity once he arrived. We called the Prisitine service for our primary drain pipe issue due to leaking water from secondary pipe outside our house. Anthony inspected our HVAC. He showed us the picture and problem that needs to be fixed. Next day, he and Gio came to fixed the issue and service including cleaning our HVAC outside and wire cover on the wall. I had a good experience with the staff working with scheduling and we're accommodating to a change in schedule and keen on taking down notes and information. After that the service I received from the technician was not professional at all. I was not on site and I originally scheduled for a tune up, but I recently had a plumber come out and they turned a return quarter turn valve on that caused the HVAC unit unable to blow cold air. So I called to adjust my schedule and let them know that we usually have it off but they turned it off so it's not blowing cold air. The receptionist took note of it and stated they will let the technician know. I get a call and I let the technician know where this valve is located and once you turn the valve off it should work so he can run his tune up and check the unit. The technician calls me later and states he is not qualified to work on a hydronic HVAC unit. He turned the valve off and it is blowing cold air now. He then states it is now a repair work since he cannot run the tune up. It will be $350...for turning off the valve. I was in shock and said $350 for turning a valve off that I stated was the problem and didn't turn back off cause I was not on site. No pre warning of a repair cost or approval to do this, just stated $350. I state how unethical this is and he said "okay $250". Still for turning a quarter turn valve that anyone can use is out of hand. He also stated that he will turn the valve back on so that the residents will complain to me when the air is not cool, which he did. It must have been clearly not difficult to do if he can do it again to try to be an inconvenience before leaving. I called the office number, and they stated they will talk with the technician and call back. I did not receive any call back but they did cancel the request all together. I am hoping this type of unprofessional work does not happen to other customers. Not only was he not qualified to work on the unit he was not qualified to work with customers on a professional level. read more
