Jon made the buying process smooth & effortless! unfortunately there were a few minor "gremlin's" that surfaced. Worse car shop EVER ! Do not go if you have a foreign car or anything that isn't a keep. They will lie to you and exploit your trust to rip you off of your money and time. They have scammed me for over 1,000 dollars in repairs. Stating that they would be able to fix my car and have been avoiding calls to address the shoddy work. Bought a used wrangler from a regular dealer thinking it would have only small stuff i could tinker with. Turned out it had larger suspension issues. Called ACI and set up a time to look at it and educate me on what issues there could be. They did so and didn't even mention once about charging me for it. They were willing to help me out on their time. After being talked through and showed what issues they caught, we talked about the different options to fix it all. Ultimately, i decided to give them my business. I went from hitting a bump and almost losing my complete steering to a day later and my lifted wrangler drives like a dream. Its trail ready because of them. They were professionals all the way, every single person there. I'll be going to them for anything mechanical on my wrangler from now on. read more

I worked with Mike (I believe that was his name) a little over a year ago when I purchased my Jaguar XJ8 from ACI-the experience was good. I called about the car I wanted, went in the next day, test drove it, loved it, bought it the next. Although the car broke down on me a week or two after I purchased it, they covered the expense to fix a broken hose. The car was amazing and trouble-free except for the 1 time, and unfortunately it was totalled only a few months after I purchased it. They don't typically carry Jags if they did I would've bought another from them! Great dealership, small, but a good selection. I bought a used Toyota Highlander from Mike at ACI in September, and had a great experience. When we went for the first time, they did not have any cars in my price range that I was interested in, so I told him what I was looking for so that he could keep an eye out for anything at the auctions. Less than a week later, I received an email that someone had traded in a car in my price range with the exact specifications I was looking for. There were a few very minor problems with the car (missing antenna, remote starter not working), which they fixed at no cost before selling me the car. They performed a very thorough inspection of the car, and did a full tuneup, including oil change, tire replacement, etc. Even though I bought a 10 year old car, they were able to offer me a lifetime engine warranty, which most dealerships won't do. Mike has always been available by email around the clock, including weekends and holidays, and always responds within a few hours. He took care of all of the paperwork, and worked with my credit union to secure the loan. I highly recommend ACI for their impressive service and genuine care for their customers! read more

DO NOT SHOP HERE I purchased a used Subaru Legacy from John. His demeanor through the sale was very laid back and seemed to be honest enough (for any used car sales guy) that I paid cash and signed the deal. It was made clear that I would be picking the car up on a specific date and it would be ready for me. When I arrived it was not ready. That wasn't a big deal as I had set aside an entire day to complete paperwork. The car was sold 'as is.' I drove the car from East Windsor to Longmeadow (about 21 miles) and I noticed a check engine light. I brought the car to my personal mechanic who diagnosed a bad sensor. I was told that the car would not pass MA state inspection unless the issue was corrected. I called John, explained the situation, and he told me he would get back to me with a quote. 4 days later I got a call from the service department that it was a $275 fix (they weren't charging labor). I called my own mechanic who price the part and labor for cheaper. I was sold a car that was not able to pass MA inspection and then told I had to pay an additional $275 to make it legal, and that was 'the best they could do'. Not very good business practice. DO NOT BUY OR GET WORK DONE HERE!!!! bought a 2007 Jeep Wrangler that was mostly stock. Had the trans blow 2000 miles after and got replaced there. Transmission then was constantly popping out of every gear and making a loud noise at idle. They said they all sound like that and brushed it off. Trans blew AGAIN after 3 times going back saying it's getting worse. As I was telling them, two days later it blew again. Yes covered by warranty but gave me hell about it. Then had them put a new differential in the back and axles. Month after the diff locked up going 60 and destroyed the transmission. They would not honor the warranty at all and told me to bring it back home after towing it there. Refused to even work on it. THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THERE DOING!!!!!!! I've purchased a few vehicles from ACI and was always impressed with Pete. I really did and still do like him quite a bit. Over the course of the past 8 years I've bought a total of 2 sports cars, 2 trucks, 1 SUV, and 1 convertible. Of all the cars I've purchased 3 were from ACI. I always recommended them as I was always happy. The last purchase I made there, not so much. I brought the vehicle back to them with some issues and they kept brushing them off and brushing them off until their warranty was up. Only then were they willing to address the issues and charge me for the work. I worked out an arrangement were they would cover the labor and I covered the parts. I go in to pick my vehicle up to see they charged me for labor. WTF THAT WASN'T THE AGREEMENT!!! So I ate it and left unhappy. Fast forward a bit more and now my vehicle is in the shop (not ACI), due to an issue I was having since I purchased the vehicle. ACI told me they had checked and scanned the vehicle and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. BS. The shop it's at says it has several codes and that it has probably been an issue since I purchased it, so now I'm out $2500 for the repair. It was avoidable had ACI been honest about the issue and repaired the vehicle when I first brought it in. They would rather lose a repeat customer then to lose a couple dollars. Needless to say I will never purchase another vehicle from them or recommend them again. Side note: I've spent over $80,000 on vehicles at ACI and they lose me as a customer for a few thousand dollars. read more

Love this place!!!! I got the best deal on my car. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. My car didn't come with a spare key, they ordered one for me without a charge. I brought my 2003 Jeep Wrangler in for a clutch replacement. Beforehand I shopped around for price and ACI gave a reasonable estimate. The shop is clean, organized and the service manger John explained very well what was needed. He knows his way around Jeeps and is very knowledgeable and he really took the time to talk and explain things, which is very rare. As with any 11 year old car repair something needed attention that was not in original estimate. John took the time to text pictures of what was needed and called, explaining extra cost. I was very satisfied with the level of service and the professional attention. The owner Peter introduced himself personally, asking if I was satisfied and thanked me for the business. We are very unhappy with our jeep purchase last July. We walked in and were very impressed by the place and thought the people working there knew what they were doing and would not sell us a bad car. Within 3 weeks the power steering went and they told us it was not covered under warranty and we had to tow it there ourselves to get it fixed. 8 months later our transmission and clutch are about to go. The person in sales told me I could still get the warranty but then when I called to get it they told me it was too late. They tell you they will call you back just to get you off the phone and never return your calls. read more

SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS TERRIBLE. We've been loyal customers for 5 years, buying 2 cars there. Not enough to prevent the service department from ripping us off twice. Brought the car in because of the oil light, spent $300 getting it fixed. Two weeks later it's on again. Brought it in again, spent another $250 to fix it. 3 weeks later it's on again. They are clueless or corrupt. Also sold us faulty brakes before as well as wipers and tail lights. STAY AWAY unless you want to spend money for them to not fix the problem. read more

STAY AWAY- do not get your care worked on there. I have been a loyal customer for years, but recently I had two separate issues they claimed to have fixed, but the problem continued.
