$5600.00 later...replaced stuts, shocks, and related hardware. Put on performance parts instead of stock. Did replace. Also charged me $325.00 (which is double) for a FEA , which , I found out, they did not do!!!! Also , getting alignment done by another shop, they said there were frozen parts they had to heat up do adjust alignment???? YES, MORE TO ADD.......FOR THE $$$$$ THEY CHARGE I SAY..............................DON'T DO IT! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! That's all I have to say about that!! My brake alert came on (BMW X1). Needed rear pads and brake fluid. Made an appt. for a week later at 1:00. I live in the quiet corner and have to travel 40 miles. Made an arrangement to be followed and picked up so I wouldn't have to sit there all afternoon. While I was traveling I received the first text message reminding me of my appt. When I got there the guy asked me what I was there for. He finally found on his computer that I did have an appt. and told me that they could do part of the work but I would have to bring my car back because they didn't have the parts to do the brake job. Told him I want everything done at once. He went in the back to see if they have the parts and while I was sitting there I received another text message reminding me of my appt. He came back and said they didn't have the parts. No apology, didn't try to make it better, didn't seem to really care. I walked out. Classless!! read more

Gave them my car to change a battery. couple days later the battery dies. I bring it back after jumping. they "reprogram" the battery and say all set. couple days later it's stalling CONSTANTLY. I bring it back again and leave it with them. after almost a week and them bragging about how they spent a whole 3 hours trying to figure out the problem, they say they can't. I ask for my car back because ya know, it's been a week already. fast forward a week. the car dies completely. now a month later and my car is still dead we call them and ask for a replacement battery. the guy says ". well there's a draw in your car so if you change the battery this is going to keep happening.". LIKE WHAT?! they knew they whole time and didn't say anything. they gave me back an unsafe car KNOWING but withholding. what was wrong. they refused to do anything about it, we will be taking this to court. read more

Took my 2018 M3 to replace and code new OEM headlights - they talk me It will take 1 to 2 days Call me my second day in saying they need more time because the can't code one side - they Give me too many excuses To keep the car more days until They figure it out- told them I need my car back And I will just take it if they can't cannot figure out how to code OEM headlights Also when they put the liner fender Back they didn't put two screws back to car -something simple !! I never thought this place can't not do the right Job and miss 2 screws and not available to code my new OEM headlights- and they state bmw professionals That same day I fund one guy Instagram name Marius that can code bmw headlights remotely w juts a computer- he code my m3 with no problems in 20 minutes and MUNICH couldn't figure out- When I call to make the appointment I asked them what's the price to get the headlights replaced ans coding $340 installation + $120 coding after I went to pick up the car they increase the price to $640.00 (double) why I don't know - I don't recommend this place Specially if you have a nice nice car and u want a good place to trust NOT then !! I've had Munich Motorsports take care of my car for the past few times I've needed work done and they've been great every time. These guys really know their stuff and actually have a passion for what they do. They're friendly, remember their customers, and are very upfront and honest about everything. There's no pressuring you to do unnecessary work, no surprises, none of the nonsense people worry about with less reputable shops. Unlike the dealership, you're talking directly to the guys involved, so there's no dealing with a service advisor who doesn't understand issues and has never touched a torque wrench. The last job I had done, a water pump and thermostat replacement, was a good $900 cheaper than what the dealership had quoted me - nearly half the price! I mean if I could leave negative stars I would. from the owner all the way down to the 2001 BMW 325 ci "loaner" car that has 300,000 miles on it and a battery that died 4 times in 3 days on me, this place is awful. communication or lack thereof was bar none the worst I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. if I didn't want my fingers to fall off I could go into extreme depth about my experience here. With that being said im gonna say one thing, If you're talking saving 1,000 or 2,000 dollars by going here compared to the dealership then by all means give it a shot (even a broken clock is right twice a day) but im telling you if its a couple hundred or even more, save yourself the time and stress and go to a dealership to get the work done. the Brightest thing about this place is the limerock edition m3 in the show room, other than that Munich is a waste of time, money, and effort. read more

Hands down the best experience I have ever had dealing with a shop servicing a vehicle of mine! I just purchased a m6 and had problems with it the day after I picked it up. I called them explained what was going on with the car and over the phone talking with foad I felt 100% certain this is who I needed to bring the car too. He was very thorough and it was very obvious he knows bmw's inside and out. Also the fact that there pricing is so much more reasonable then a dealer and you have a true car enthusiast not just some run of the mill car tech working on your car is awesome! As another review had stated if I could leave 0 stars I would. I had dropped my bmw off for an inlet replacement. I was quoted $600 but when I had showed up my bill was $1200. When I picked up my car it was in worst condition than I had dropped it off. While doing the inlet, Fauds team of "master technicians" broke my turbo coolant line and had blamed it on the shop that previously installed my turbos. When I had dropped off my car my coolant system was completely sealed. In fact I had done a pressure test the week before. When I picked it up, it was leaking a steady stream of coolant to the point they recommended to have it towed. They had also left my cars vacuum lines disconnected, which is very poor quality of work. I made it very clear that I was very upset with their service and the fact that I had picked up my car in worst condition then when I had dropped it off. If they tried to make things right I would not be here creating this review. They did not offer anything to make the situation right besides a bottle of USED coolant because I didn't have time to tow my car. I am no master technician but I do know N54 cars very well. There is no reason to even touch the turbo coolant line when installing an inlet. They claimed my turbo oil line was leaking as well but in fact it was not. They tried to play me and sell me many things I didn't need. I was so upset with the quality of work that I've reported Munich Motorsport to Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicle. This was the worst experience I've ever had. They had left me stranded with no choice but to take my car and pay them for creating an even bigger headache. After this had happened I called MPEROR Tuning and without a breath of air he said " bring the car over right now.". Mike and his son Mikey made my car right for a fraction of the price Munich had charged me. Please do not waste your time over paying for parts and labor on your cars when you can deal with honest people like the guys over at MPEROR. The best BMW service and a fair price. These guys are the absolute best. Great mechanics, honest, easy to work with and much better prices than the dealer. I'll never user anyone else for service on my BMW. I have a 2006 330xi. I brought it to my regular dealer for service. The service light was on and the car wouldn't pass the emissions test. The dealer did diagnostics and informed me that the car had a bad cylinder. The only fix was to replace the engine at a cost of more than $18K. Since the car isn't worth that much and I couldn't pass emissions and wouldn't be able to renew my registration I thought I would have to get rid of the car. Before getting rid of the car, I asked for recommendations for a good BMW mechanic and someone recommended Munich Motor Sports. I called and explained the problem with the car and made an appointment. They took the car and performed diagnostics. They didn't think what the dealer found could be the real issue. But the problem was hard to find. They were persistent and kept at it until they found the real problem. They were able to fix the problem, including parts and diagnostics for less than $1,200. I'm really thankful to Fod and his team that my car is running great and that I don't need to get rid of it. It's a great car. I would give Munich Motor Sports more than 5 stars if I could and highly recommend them for anyone with a BMW. read more
